Anyway we can get a themed google talk app. I checked the original vibrant with 2.1 firmware and it has a black background anyway of getting that on 2.2 rom or a flashable. Apk

we can with temporary root, but once you restart the phone itll be gone so yeah maybe after full root is acquired

There may be a "dark" option in the stock messaging settings.
