What's the filename/type and location for a screen off sound (primary question), screen on sound, power off sound, and file type for a power down animation?
Also is there a proper list of those ussd codes you can type on the dialpad to perform functions like reboot, wipe phone, check unlock status etc.
Xda app search is giving me no results.

Yes !!!! TouchPad android ROM still not 100% working normally, please wait for future update !
You have to enable it in settings, cyanogen mod settings, tablet tweaks. Deselect the disable lock screen option.

And then wail because the lock screen is active but there's no pin or pattern unlock area present. In which case see my response on the same topic in the cyanogen mod forum for a fix

I actually like not having a lockscreen. Its unnecessary in my opinion

I'm having the same problem. The fix offered above didn't do anything. Any help is appreciated.
Settings > Cyanogenmod Settings > Tablet Tweaks > Uncheck "Disable Lockscreen"
Did not work for you?
No, the screen lock now works when I boot it up, but after that I when I use the power button to shut it off and on the lock screen doesn't start up. I've even tried downloading a whole bunch of other ones.
I have seen some information about entering a service menu with a code along the lines of *#1973 to access volume gain settings. I am not sure if this applies to the Note since entering that menu yields no settings. Have any of you found another method to increase the volume without using apps like volume+, etc. which seem to do this at the software level?

Click to collapse
Any setting you change is going to be software level...not like you can go in and tweak some SMD values and components and change hardware in a menu.
I didn't see a volume or gain code in a quick find in page in this thread either. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1520115

Any way to remove the emergency call button? I'm on a galaxy note 2.
Almost everytime I take my phone out I hit that button which opens the keypad. I just want to unlock my phone.
Even if it's just moved from the bottom, but I'd prefer it gone.
I have searched btw. I'm asking in the correct section so please close this tab if you don't wish to help.
Can't believe no one else has this trouble
yeah sure
remove it out of the layout from framework res apk and its gone

Question is, can someone modify the apk as below???
http://www.androidpolice.com/2013/0...-enable-voice-prompt-in-search-results-video/
Turns out, there's a secret flag within Search that lets you use the hotword, set by default to 'Google,' anywhere in search results instead of just the home Activity. By default, Search will let you say "Google" to activate voice input only in the main Search screen, after which you'd have to tap the Back button in order to use it again. It's nice, but it's not very fluid, as you have to keep touching your device.
The secret flag enables it in search results, so you can perform search after search after search without ever touching your phone or tablet.
As for the technical details, the flag is located in res/values/bools and is called hotword_from_results. To activate it, one would flip it from false to true, like so:
<bool name="hotword_from_results">true</bool>

I was playing with my camera settings and when I selected voice, a menu poped up that let me turn on voice command and select which service I want. Clock, camera etc. Since then I have not been able to get back to that menu. I have searched, and cannot find a refrence. Anyone know how to navigate to the voice command menu? Thanks.

After a few hours I found the answer. First its called the voice control, not command. Access by turning on s voice using the microphone icon. Select the menu key and then settings. Lots of options there including the menu to select which service you would like to control by voice. I especially like the off, snooze command using the alarm.
