Hey, I've been searching for the Moto Phone Portal, but have only found V1 which apparently does not have the file explorer. Any way to get V2 or just a version with a wifi file explorer?
If you're only interested in a wifi file explorer/manager i would suggest to try webkey from the market, free, easy to use and doesn't require to install anything on the pc, any browser will work fine.
Me too
ok so on CM7 we don't have phone portal. I installed v.029 and V1 and i can't backup my contacts or import the.csv file to phone... very annoying. Tried to restore with Titanium... no luck. I guess the old ones have compatibility issues with the 2007CSV format. It asks for a 2003... but i have Office 2007... and it cannot save in the older format.
Overall how do i put my .Csv and .Bak files back on the phone?
Can anyone please extract the phone portal.
Hello everyone,
I'm looking for an app that I'll put files on a folder in my computer and the device once it is connected to the Internet automatclly download the files.
Style Dropbox but in dropbox you must enter the program and download the files . I'm looking for an app that do it automatically. For example I downloaded a song on the computer and I put it on the folder the synchronize, after a while I go to the device and the song is already inside the device local folders and i do not need to download it from the cloud/web.
Thanks all

Now the media scanner is starting to hang within few minutes after boot.
If i try to delete the files or folder through file manager (file expert), the app hangs.
Please can someone help advise how can i get rid of these files/folder.
I have a rooted tab with Jellybean rom (ICS).

Could be the fmanager app does not hang, but is just extremely slow handling that amount of images. You have to keep in mind, that Android is not optimised for large amounts of data/files...
Could you connect the tablet via USB to your PC and wipe the files via the PC? Will still be slow, but could improve after number is halved...
solved!!
Thanks for your reply. I was able to delete the images through 'rm' command via script manager.
Hello
I am using a Samsung grand quattro (Model No. i 8552) andriod version 4.1.2.
To hide few personal pics, i was using audio manger version 3.2, My folders are missing, i had stored them on the phone rom.
to recover the deleted pics & audio files I tried using recuva but it doesnt detect the phone rom.
To enable the usb mass storage system I have to root the phone which i am not able to it,
Isnt there an simple method to recover the deleted pics & audio files from Phone rom.
Can anyone help me regarding this I would be very very grateful to him or her.
Why you are not able to root it?
I would suggest to use another file explorer, maybe the program just hid your folder(s) and you are not able to see on stock file explorer
Cwm Recovery
Did you try cwm recovery through odin
Did you deleted them? if not then open My Files (default file manager) and check here
Code:
/storage/sdcard0/ProgramData/Android/Language/.fr/Pictures/
if you deleted them from Audio Manager then you may try File Scavenger to recover them.
I am use phone of oppo A37 so my hide app audio manager is deleted suddenly
my many pics in this folder so i'm recover my image
Hey guys!
I have a problem ...
I use an app for courses (Udemy) and it have the option to download courses for offline watching.
Did it. I can watch the app offline, but wanted to move to the PC. I found the files in the folder:
android / data / com.udemy.android / files / udemy-final-downloads
Within this folder I have several folders, each containing one video of the course. The problem is that when plug the mobile in PC most of the files do not appear.
In short: I can see all the phone but the PC does not appear the most.
I've tried with linux and windows. Already asked to view hidden files and resolves nothing.
Has anyone had similar problem?
Obs.'s Mobile phone is a Moto X.
Thanks Guys!

Move the files or folder to your highest directory. Should be something like /storage/emulated/0. FYI, your device has to be unlocked (meaning PIN or pattern or password or whatever) to open anything on the phone on your PC.

That's weird. How about uploading them to cloud storage, like DropBox or Google Drive?
I tried it too. The files are very big 4.8 GB and always stop. I'll try do it littke files at time.
Send to PC over Bluetooth?
Delete and re-download them to a location of your choosing?
Copy via PC or SDCard
You can locate the folder as you did, thus:
android/data/com.udemy.android/files/udemy-final-downloads
copy it to memory card or flash using otg if your device supported it. Otherwise, you copy it to your PC, I used Ubuntu to copy the folder. Afterwards open and rename each course (file) accordingly, but is a very tiresome task.
Hope this will help.

I have the same problem.
My course has 297 lectures
I could copy only the first 222.
I ran ls -l from terminal as su to check the sequence - they are downloaded in sequence - and I am using the time sequence to rename them in order numerically
How to download Udemy videos and convert it to any formats to play

What protocol are you accessing the files from your PC? Are you using MTP, MSC, etc...?
May i suggest that you install ES File manager, use it's remote manager (which uses ftp) to check if you can see the files.
Personaly for transfering files between my Droid and my PC, because MTP is so utterly slow I use an app called "MTP-alternative" which allow you to tranfer files over USB but uses the Wedav protocol and is really quick. (if it works, bear in mind that when transfering files to your mobile it copy them in /data/local/tmp which gives the impression that the files aren't transfered to your mobile)

I have the same problem.
udemy downloader
I higly recommend Avdshare Video Downloader which can directly and batch download videos
from Udemy to MP4, AVI, MP3
Hey, i realize this is very late but i hope my answer will help others. I had to do something simillar and i found a very simple work around. all you have to do is download winrar or any other app that can archive files/directories. Use the app to make an archive of the Final Downloads folder which contains all the other nested folders with the videos in them. Now you can connect your phone to your computer and transfer the .rar or .zip file over and extract it on your desktop.
Thanks for your answer, this is worked for me. The problem is solved now.
