I really hope so. I have an older mbp that has 5ghz, so why didn't the 3d?
Yeah I believe it has "Wifi Direct" too, not 100% sure but highly likely.
Blind guess
XDA Since 2007...
Definitely has WiFi direct I'll check on the WiFi antennae and get back

Up to you I'm leaving mine turned on radio is built in to the processor so I don't think it makes to much of a difference where as with old phones they had another chip for the radios which drew more power.

Noob question, how can you tell once we have LTE? will there be an icon like with WiMax on the phone signal status?

I think the devs are working on or has a widget but LTE isn't like WiMAX where it sucks the battery down since the radio is built in to the processor

There's really no point in having a separate switch for LTE unless you really just want 3G speeds only. If they drain the same power, why not have LTE?
ON VIRUSES PKMN SENSE 4 ROM the signal says evdo instead of 3g how do I change it to 3G

For the correct answer. Evdo is just an image. It has nothing with speed and can be changed with a bit of knowloage of APKtool and M10 Tools.

It seems Dish Network has bought into Clearwire and might be pushing to have there network builded out by Sprint on network vision.
Yeah there have been light rumors that they were working a deal over the past few months. Will be interesting to see what happens.

Haven't been keeping up with this too much. What does this mean?
I have sprint and dish so what are the possibilities here? I realize nothing is going to happen fast but what are they going after?

Your guess is as good as mine.
Although I was thinking about it and would it be possible they could use the wimax towers to stream on demand content to their boxes?
I mean wimax has never even been near my house so I think it would be a MAJOR investment for dish to provide this to all their customers. But this is one possibility that ran through my head a minute ago.

What would you use wifi calling for because you could just use google voice over wifi with the number you already have.
How do you do Google voice calls ?

Based on your "Stupid AirRave" comment, I'm guessing that are you looking for VOIP service for your N3?
Before you proceed, check the internet connection you plan to use to see if it's up to par.

If it passed then check out some options here:

Good luck.
Disregard post
I use grove IP with a google phone number. Works ands sounds better than sprint with or with out using my airwave.

FreedomPop is doing it on the Sprint network for cheap.
Probably but I doubt anyone can tell you for certain right now.
