Search touch screen for ARCHOS 10. Model Touch Screen is LM100SC50 stands on the piece.
Does anyone where can buy maybe.
Thanks,
First you should know, I'm a tinkerer. I like to mess with lots of electrical and mechanical stuff for fun. (Like building my own dual batteries, rebuilding cars and making my own mag fed paintball markers and RF box mags).
Looking at the Huawei G300 and the Y300 screens, and wondering if the G300 screen would fit the Y300? Reason being the G300 is IPS whilst the Y300 is only LCD and not good in brighter light.
G300: IPS LCD, 4", 480*800, Connection top left
Y300: LCD, 4", 480*800, Connection top left
There seem to be a lot of similar ROM's for these devices, so I can't imagine it would be too challenging for someone who knew the drivers etc, to get it to work. I have searched but I can't find anyone that has done something like this before.
Am I crazy, or looking at the screens, does anyone think it's doable as a useable device?
Did you ever try this?
Hardware is easy to play around with so long as you have standard measurement's and similar connection points

Alright, from what I've gathered in the forums, the Nexus 9's main problems seems to be the light bleed from the screen, the flexible back cover, the fast battery drain, and the overheating problem. Black friday is coming soon and the Sheild is most likely going to be discounted as they did last year. What I'm wondering is should I wait for Google and HTC to fix these issues in a newer batch and software updates or should I just go with the Sheild tablet when Blackfriday comes?
The only reason I haven't gone with the Sheild over the Nexus is due to the smaller screen size, Nexus 9 seems to be ideal for reading school textbooks.
The 4:3, 9 inch screen is really nice. Right in between an iPad mini and an iPad air. Perfect for reading notes. I'd get the N9
Hello,
I use a hardcase to use my phone on my motorbike. I used to have a Galaxy S4 with a "Ultimate Addons hardcase" .
This works great but now i m looking for a simmilar case for my Huawei Ascend Mate 7 but i can t find it.
Does anybody know where to get it?
Thanks!
Yah, good luck. I searched everywhere for one as well and couldn't find any. I want to use the phone for field collection of data in a database with photos, etc. This often exposes the device to rain, sweat and dirt. The hardware is perfect for the task, just the right size and battery that will easily get through a solid days work. But allas, no rugged cases are available.....
Not hardcase, but I've just ordered a 'so easy Rider v6' from eBay) can't post the link due to low post count but it will come up if you type it in eBay.Com)
Seem to get good reviews and the v6 version is sized for phablets.
Thank you, i just ordered the So easy rider V6 on aliexpress for myself!
Hey guys, looking at phones and thinking about the Honor 8X. Mostly coz of the big screen. Anyone familiar with it? Got any other big screen recommendations?
Also been researching that phone lately. Looks like a solid choice. Basically can't see any side frames from the promo photos, also extremely narrow top and bottom.
If you're into tech, a COF process is used to move the integrated circuit (where millions of tiny resistors and transistors are) UNDER a component that is traditionally placed by its side -- that's how they squeezed an extra bit of height out of the bottom.
Does anyone know of any other phones with comparable specs? For ref:

It's a decent phone with good screen little bezels 91% screen to body ratio not a lot in price range can compare, maybe new xiaomi mi 8 lite but only 6'2" and £259/279 so little more but you do get type c USB and fast charge SD 660 so slightly better in some respects [emoji106]
