Ur battery are dead. It cant store any power anymore. Maybe u charge it too much n not consistent

Take it to samsung they will "Boost" it, it gives the batery a spesifik freqancey that pust the battery to where it was when they pakegded it then u gotta do a full charge (As if the phone is new and wolla)

maybe the electronic which is responsible for charging is broken?!

as he said its not bricked, he just needs to use charger to turn it on.

Tried it again just now and after a couple of presses it turns on. I started thinking that it's the lock/power button that's faulty but I can use it fine to lock my screen when the phone is on. Any idea why this might happen?

Yes I can get in the power menu just fine. I really don't know what's up with my phone sometimes it takes a couple of presses to turn on and sometimes it turns on fast.

no port is needed, they just need activating. But no point till a final product is made as it means going through the prosess every time.

yeah it works on activating
but we already have hardware buttons for simulation..
so activating those would take up space on our screen and for keyboard things i really don't think its worth including

No you can not possibly do that! Your device is completely different from the galaxy s3 for various reasons, by flashing a rom of other smartphone the only result will brick your device

When used in reference to consumer electronics, a "brick" describes an electronic device such as a smart phone, game console, router, or tablet computer that owing to a serious misconfiguration, corrupted firmware or a hardware problem, can no longer function. The term derives from the vaguely cuboid shape of many electronic devices (and their detachable power supplies) and the suggestion that the device can only function as a large, heavy object.

Sure hold on here whilst I flash the latest .ipsw file from Apple. I doubt that will brick my phone, after all, they are both smartphones!
But Is there any rom which is the same as the S3 firmware and needs no rooting

I dont think you are intelligent enough to do much with a phone.
But at least your next topic cant be as stupid as your first.
The one sought in the forum, there are custom rom leaving his appearance with the S3 S2.
Now this is really determined to install the rom S3 in S2, would you donate to your phone than using it with a paperweight in the future.

Wont stay off and battery drain

Hey i have two problems. My first is that sgs2 wont stay turned off. I just replaced the charging port and now it wont stay off. My second problem is that my phone has a very bad battery drain. In about 6hrs my phone is 20%. I used Gsam to check what was draing my battery life and it was my Kernel. My kernel is a siyah kernel and its for jb and it says one kernel rules all. Im running Task 650 Aokp jb 4.1.2. Also it gets really hot around the camera. Thanks in advance

Download BetterBatteryStats and charge your phone completely to 100%... leave the phone alone.. dont use it at all.. keep the wifi and mobile data on for 4 hours+ and post the dump.. check for kernel wakelocks.. partial wakelocks.. to see what is draining your battery..
P.S - some tips.. keep your sync off.. if you are using the fb app.. delete and use it from a browser..

I'm confused. Do you mean the power button has failed? Or what exactly do you mean by "it won't turn off"?
When I power my phone off it goes off. Then about 10 seconds later it just boots back up. I dont hit a button or anything.

You need to find out if the problem is hardware or firmware related. Since you did some work inside your phone, it may be hardware, but you can test this by flashing back to stock and see if the problem persists.
Also, you didn't say, but wondering if the power button works normally otherwise. For instance, can you use the three button combo to get into recovery, etc.
...and also wondering if you pull the battery then put it back in, will the phone stay off?
It works fine and also the three button combo. I will try to get back to stock bit I tryed something and it kinda worked.
I turned the phone off and locked the screen at the same time and it stayed off. The only bad thing is when i turn it back on it drains to 3% and is stuck in download mode. Since it is stuck in download mode I have to take my case off and the battery out
