Hi,
Yesterday I was lying on my bed, when suddenly my X10 Mini Pro died . I was just installing some apps, and then it froze for about 3 minutes. Then it shutted down. At first I tried to charge it, but it didn't do anything. The screen didn't even turn on. Then I ran SEUS, didn't work, used the flashtool, didn't work, because it didn't recognize the phone when I plug in the charger while holding the back button...
When I plug my charger in my phone the LED flashes a red light though (like when your battery is low), and after a few minutes the red light stops. When I try to power him up, the red light flashes faster (like it's battery is dead). So I thinkl it's not entirely dead.
Maybe this is a battery issue or something? Maybe my charger broke? Something else?
Please help me, I'm begging you. I can't afford a new phone, I'm broke as hell
heya, from the info you've given I don't reckon it's something obvious that caused this?
gordon's gate should force your pc to recognize your phone so it'll work with SEUS.
just install it, then open it so it says usb id's have been resetted, and connect your phone holding back button.
hope that helps you solve it
No, does not work . Really big thanks anyway.
I ordered a new battery, maybe that will solve the problem. Or is it possible my charging cable is defect or something?

If when your phone crashed battery was still good, then it is your battery. If it just went off because your battery was empty then it can be your charging cable but I doubt it.
judging from the symptoms, i think battery is the most plausible cause as well.
sorry i couldn't help tho

Battery was good when he crashed... It wasn't empty also. I'll let you know if the new battery works once I have it.
Nope, does not work..
Now I'm stuck with an extra 2430 mAh battery and a dead X10 Mini Pro. Hooray. If someone thinks he can help, please reply.
Oh wow, it suddenly worked! I'm a happy person again!
Hi everyone,
Recently I got a SE x10min pro and since it was new I didn't even get to root it, so we could say that it was intact.
Two days ago, after having charged the phone for a whole night, the battery started draining really fast up to the point that it was fully drained (lasted less that 4hs). When I got home, I tried plugging it in so it could charge and I noticed that the led wasn't turning on. I tried both, the AC and the PC method and nothing. So, I would say that it's a brick
I cannot change it because it was a gift from abroad and before taking it to SE I thought that here I could find some help. Has this happened to anyone? Is the cell really dead?
Please help :S
BTW I have tried reading different posts but I couldn't find a solution for this because I tried pushing the back key and plugging it to the pc and nothing. I also tried pressing the power ker+center key and nothing.
Have you tried to plug it into the mains charger and leave it on charge for some time ? ive seen people posting about similar problems before and one of the fixes is to leave it charging for quite a while
By now it has been charging from the AC for almost 2 days non stop and no changes
Thanks anyways
Omething obviously fried the battery.
Try a new one?
Hi, thanks for the answer. I though about the battery being the problem and I am going to try it out asap but shouldn't the device turn the led on anyways? I just don't want to spend money on a new battery for my brick.
Do you know about that?

Maybe i got the same problem, about the LED turning on.... It might need a little bit of your battery, since it´s dead it can´t turn on the LED. I found a couple of threads on other forums talking about connecting our battery to the wires of an old charger, some kind of a electroshock

Yes, i have unplugged the battery connector, connecting usb and repluging it while pressing the Back button, also i've tried plugging it after a few minutes rest, neither work.
How could i know if my battery is dead?

A though nut to crack.
Tried leaving it for a few hours charge?
Turned off.
That helped me once.
I´ll try to find out what is what in the connector in terms of + and - .
To measure it .
I leave it charging all night, i've tried with another USB cable and doesn´t work. Maybe i will go to a service center on a few days... But i wanted to do it by myself
Sorry dude.

Got a new then?
Expensive?
Got a link?
Sorry, no link, i went to an underground service center, they said my battery was definitely dead and they sold me another Mini's battery, from a broken phone, for $25 USD. I was happy. BUT TODAY I GOT THE SAME PROBLEM!! MY PHONE IS DEAD AGAIN!! I suppose there is another problem that burn, kill, overcharge or something else my battery. Got no warranty with S.E. I don´t know what to do.

That is some bad news.
Could be that you´r charger just as you say is overcharging.
Hello everyone
my photon has a 'error 4 , phone won't boot
caused by , oddly enough, sprints own OTA
anyways, im at a stage where the battery is too low for me to do anything, such as fastboot, recovery, or rsd, i always get the 'battery too low'
and the phone won't charge in these modes, which is really annoying
so basically i cant charge the phone, or do anythign
being in canada, i cant just buy a replacement battery
Big QUESTION:
does anyone know if the ATRIX battery or anythign else will fit
or of some external charger for the battery
or anything else i can do!
Thanks!
PS:
if i stripped a usb cable and connected the black and red wires to the - and plus of the battery directly to the AC Charger wall unit, would that be dangerous in anyway?
I tried by connecting to a PC but its not strong enough to charge it

That's great! Otherwise, you would have been stuck. How did the phone work? Did you fix the OTA issue?
By the way, we just found out the Droid 3's battery is compatible a few days ago, cool beans!
I just dealt with this myself today. I stripped the red and black wires to expose the copper. Then i plugged it into a wall outlet. Worked like a charm

WHo knows the answer to this question?
My new battery won't charge. I let the phone die/run out till it shut down. Now when I plug it in the red/orange led lights for approx 4 secs and shuts off. This is a new battery and I have no reason to believe it is damaged. I ran it for about 7-10 days. I had a similar issue with the stock battery a month ago- It ran out and I rebooted it till it wouldn't boot anymore to try to re calibrate the battery and it was almost impossible to get it to take a charge again. But with this one I'm not able to get it to take a charge, and apparently it's so low it won't boot the phone.
My Question- is there information that gets written to the battery? Could it be that the battery is reporting some type of bad information to not allow the phone to take a charge ? Anyone know of a possible fix?
FYI- I am able to boot the phone on my old stock battery so I'm not in real trouble. Thanks in advance.
Buy a wall charger from ebay and charge your battery from the wall charger.
Yea, sounds like your battery needs a bit of a jump start.
There are two ways of doing this,
1. As stated above get a wall charger and charge the battery up a bit that way then boot up,
2. If you don't want to buy a wall charger there is a way to give it bit of a charge by splicing a usb cable. Then touching certain wires to certain electrodes on the battery itself.
Google is your friend in case number 2. I don't want to give you any wrong info, I saw a post about this when I first came to xda, couldn't find it again tho.
Hit thanks if I've helped, and if you need help finding a tutorial to use the usb method let me kno, I will look for it again when i get home from work this afternoon.

Hey guys i got a really big and complicated problem. I have gt-i9100G, and couple of months ago, my charging port broke, so i ordered a new one. Since it laste over a month to get shipped to my country i find a soultion to charge my phone by cutting off my charger and put red and black wire between my batter and phone pins. It lasted for long and charged it. Now when my new charging port arrived i changed it, and now my phone wont charge or turn on. My phone wont turn on except i put that wires and make contact. But still when and when i inesert usb to charge it it shows me its charging, but its not charging, just fake charging. Also my "battery option" from settings dissapeard. So is it software problem, or i need to get a new battery, or i ****ed up my phone with that wire charging. If anyone can help me i would appreciate it..
Sorry for my bad english and thanks in advance
Update
When i charge and turn on phone by putting red and black wires between phone and battery, and turn it off, than off, this is what i get(Attention: It's not my phone on the picture, i found it on internet, but i get the same problem)
