It won't be easy like you think mate, afaik in gb we cannot send layout to notification area as a notification. This is an option in ICS,which gives us the opportunity to send a layout to notifications.Porting this to gb won't be easy nor small, will take lot of time and I hardly think any dev will do that now for Neo.
About ICS being slow and eats more ram is all just bs

To flash ROM u have to go into CWM mode via your phone ( press vol down repeatedly to enter CWM ) the one that can flash on flashtool is the kernel
Flashing the kernal is necessary?? because i have relocked my Ray and dnt want to unlock the bootloader again

No no no jj, even though I don't like the UI of your very popular ROM, I still appriciate your work for our ray as many of us do
But for the question on this release, I'm guessing it's this one and it's unbranded/rooted/busybox etc like arc's release?

Not true, the ROM is stable and smooth. I'm also using justmpm's version or sirkay's 6.1.1 kernel.
Now, I did notice Supercharger scripts don't seem to be efficient with this ROM. It made my home launcher lose its already stock smoothness.

Does anyone know how to install quickpanel and battery % mod ?
At the moment it seems to me to be the same as 4.0.3 in smoothness. Only has more bloatware. But overall, its not bad. I installed ICS launcher which is the best for me and now it flies. (not literally)

Hi I'm Shemul, I have bought another android phone is Ray. before ray i used HTC wildfire.
you know xperia ray's conf is much better than wildfire. btw i know my phone has 1Ghz processor but i feel my phone is little bit slow.

If you're on a stock rom it's normal that your ray isn't smooth and doesn't auto flash. Sony (in my opinion and many, many others) failed to develop a good ice cream sandwich(android 4.0.x) update. My ray isn't smooth either. They surely added some great new features and improvements compared to gingerbread(android 2.3.x), but the speed, smoothness and so on aren't what they are supposed to be. If this realy bothers you, you can downgrade your ray back to gingerbread, use a custom rom or install some tweaks that improves speed etc. But to do this your phone must be rooted. Further i don't think there's much you can do
The absence of auto-flash is normal because, well, to be precise, our Rays only have torches which are either on or off. So basically when you want to enlighten your environment during picture taking the only option you have is to just turn on that damned lantern and blind everyone unfortunate enough to be there

You're from Bangladesh?
If you bought the phone a week ago, you should be using GB, not ICS.
Flash it to ICS and root.
And if you want it to be really smooth, use custom roms.
And Ray doesn't have a flash, just an LED.

From your last post, look like you know some stuff so I assume you're on techy side of wildfire user.
But the ICS 4.0.4 for Ray is official from Sony and it's run pretty good, there's no reason to stay with GB. You should try update to .587 before trying anything else, large chance there's no need for anything else but newer stock rom from Sony. Do the update as Sony instruction first.

Wow, I didn't expect such answer. Any way, I was only looking for the ROM which have NO BUGS at all (at-least for me) and Sony ICS stock ROM doesn't have bugs I guess (or may be I am wrong but I didn't face any in 3 weeks) but yea, performance is not good (lagging and all that i.e. NOT SMOOTH). So, I was only looking for this kind of ROM i.e. No Bugs, Smooth, and stable.
But any way, I have finally found the one with only 1 or max 2 bugs which would be fixed soon (I hope) and applied some MODs of my choice and I can use my Neo V without any -ve things!!!
Thanks to all!!!

But still have some questions
Won't that void all my warranty
Or have I already void that by rooting and
Flashing pureness
And can I make a ftf kind of file with my current
Rom and applications so that next time I won't need to do
Such long process to flash pureness sp1
Like flash. 587 than flash.562 kernel to root
Than root and install cwm recovery
Then install.587 kernel than pureness zip
Than patch for neo v thanreboot and wait for
Atleast one our and than install sp1
So I think it will be easy to have a ftf.file and flash
It using flashtool or something like that
Is this possible
U have already void warranty, not sure about ftf file your talking about but I dont think so!
Press thanks if I helped
