[REQUEST] Motorola Widgets for ICS - Atrix 4G Themes and Apps

Is there a way to port Motorola GB widgets to ICS?

The xoom gets its ics update soon may be able to get them then with less problems then.

Motoblur vs. Motorola UI

why does the bionic and DROID x have an updated Motorola UI vs. the atrix's Motorola blur. The new ui has more animations and a different app drawer. will we ever see this update?
Its still Moto blur technically. Motorola just changed the name. And they'll never all look the same. I mean the orange gb looks different from the att one in minor ways.

Doesn't matter, they both suck.
I hope Google uses "Vanilla" on all future Googlorola phones...

Not gonna happen. Google already stated they'll operate separately. No google interference

I hope Motoblur is toned down in future phones. I like the stock experience better.

What's the best rom for the photon?

I know we only have like three roms total, but which one do you like to use?

Homebase 2.1 with 4.2 update has been flawless for me. No issues like others have had with the stock releases.
Tried a couple of themes over it but they eventually cause minor issues. So left it bare and themed with different launchers.

Been running Imperium for a while now and very satisfied with it. Good speed and everything works. No 4G in my area so that is a non-issue for me.

New MotoBlur UI

Engaget posted a look to the new Moto UI for ICS.
Lots of screenshots and it does look great (in my opinion, of course)

Stock Android still looks better.
its nice, been using it a while now and like it alot.
New motoblur is a step in the right direction with the modest amount of theming involved. They seem to have basically made their blur apps themed to blend well with stock ics which is nice. Icons are still ugly as hell though, and they changed the black statusbar? Personally, you wont find me runnin the new blueblur. For every blur app out there, there will be a better alternative in the play store.

I am definitely excited about trying the Official ICS from Motorola. I was on the stock Rom with my Photon for quite sometime before I rooted it and then started to flash custom Roms on it. In my own opinion, an small improvement with MotoBlur is a huge improvement for me.
i think ics with motoblur will be better than cm9

We get it from HTC and they won't release it for 90 days. There is still a possibility that even if we get it it may not run correctly on the thunderbolt. We will see though.

On a funnier note, my old OG Incredible is running JB 4.2, despite being an ancient phone. That thing must be super easy to dev for or something...compared to the Bolt anyway.

The thunderbolt is the first phone on Verizon that has svdo which let's you talk and surf the internet at the same time even on 3g data. HTC and Verizon have both been protecting this technology by keeping sources closed indefinitely on the radio software for one. Since a lot of the sources are closed devs don't have interest in finding hacks and workarounds to deal with the lack of source. That's why a lot of the devs left this device. Even still though we have official ics and in a few months we should have the sources we need to build custom kernels that are needed for making a jb from.
Sent from my ADR6400L using Tapatalk 2
Yeah I can understand the frustration from the devs. If we get it I'll enjoy it, if not then oh well not a big deal in my book. Still a good enough phone for my broke budget right now either way
