I have a US SGP5 using Eryigit's ROM (loving this ROM), and I noticed that after rebooting, the lockscreen toggle always reverts back to being "on".
So my question is: Is it me? or was that done by design? If by design, is there a way to "remember" the setting between reboots?

There might be a possible bug in this version.
The toggles won't show up anymore after doing a reset of the toggles in ROM Control > Toggles > Reset toggles.
I have tried rebuilding the toggles, changing styles and pretty much all i could immediately think of to no avail (the farthest i went is reboot and wipe cache)
Some background on this: I have upgraded to 1.6, 4.0.4 directly from a month older 4.0.1.
The upgrade process went very well, i mean in half an hour or so i had back the whole os and restored applications. (Well, the fm radio won't restore and the same for voice recorder). The first one i don't care that much, but the voice/sound recorder might be useful.
Thank you for any idea on how to get back the toggles in my status bar.

as soon as you mentioned about that button, i remembered i had set transparency to 100%. reverted that back to opaque and lo and behold i got the toggles!!
I will try the transaprency thing again, maybe my phone is too slow?
The animation when the notification bar is pulled down is freaking annoying. Any means currently for us to disable that?

Disable all animations might do it. Go to settings, developer options, Animation. Turn both window & transition animations off. I'm not sure if this will work since I haven't received my SGS3 yet. if it does please press the thanks button.

Hi,
I've searched google and the forums in and out, and can't find anyone mention the bugs I see with the pattern/PIN lockscreen. I'm using CM9 (Nightly 20120611).
The problem begins when trying to temporarily deactivate the lockscreen, either by using the notification power widget, or by using apps which probably carry out the same OS function in order to deactivate it.
Settings -> Interface -> System -> Notification drawer -> Widget buttons -> Toggle lockscreen
Once deactivated, clicking any notification (be it an SMS, email, or any other) from the notification drawer causes the lockscreen to pop up out of nowhere, and from this moment on - it's back on, even though it's supposed to be deactivated, and the toggle is switched 'off'. Playing around with the toggle might bring the state back to normal, but down the line stranger things will happen, especially if playing with the lockscreen setting 'Show widgets before unlock' - for example the phone may unlock given any pattern/PIN, or the lockscreen toggle may become useless (no effect).
Has anyone else noticed this? Is this CM9 or ICS?

I'm trying to figure out how to remove the quick toggles (not quick settings) from the notification drop down in Viper rom (V2.0.0). I've looked throughout all the different options in venom tweaks, and tried doing a search on the forums, but everything keeps coming back about the quick settings and not how to get the strip of quick toggles removed. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Or just long hold the time and date area until its gone.

I'd been using the Eclipse ROM until a few days ago when I switched back to the Stock/Root/Deodex ROM. One of the features of Eclipse that is now missing is the ability to toggle through the brightness settings on the notification screen by tapping the brightness icon next to the slider. Just wondering if there's any way to get that feature back in the stock ROM. I believe Eclipse uses 12B, and the ROM I now have is 11C, so maybe it's only available in the newer ROMs?
