[Q] about CM9. - Galaxy Ace S5830 General

hey guys im using CM9 Nightly release, as many of the user know, the nightly version has a problem with the camera. maybe im changing to Beta8 but between Beta8 and Nightly, what is the difference? the camera works?

No the camera doesn't work on any ics rom, we need the drivers.
The nightly is newer than beta8 so stick with that. Check the changelog on the rom thread to see the difference

[Q] cyanogenmod nightlies

Where do you download the cyanogen nightlies mod? I can't download it on ROM manager....it doesn't show anything there..
I have a rooted thunderbolt
There are no official cm7 nightlies yet. Slayher is the tb cm7 dev and he is working to get us synced up to the mainline. His build is stable and can be used as a daily driver. Now back to football I go

Cyanogen development in general has stalled out anyways, so you're not missing much at the moment in between slayher's builds.

[Q] CM7 nightly build

Can anyone tell me which CM7 nightly build is the best right now. I see they stopped at 182. I was just wondering if any before that are better.

182 is probably the best CM7 stock ROM. If you plan to flash a CM7 based ROM I would suggest:
Phiremod Fusion 2.0

He took one of the last CM7 builds and customized it without over teaking anything. BE WARNED the CM7 based ROMs have the E911 issue.

Maybe this apply to this kernel too.
We are moving to another kernelsource, so no need to do it yet
As we are working to get official support now we are moving to cm kernelsources.
By the way, I never had bsb on cm9

I need your help please

Hi. Im looking for the original cyanogenmod kernel (latest build - 061012). Do you guys know where I could get this kernel?
Cyanogen website? Maybe ask in their forum.
[KERNEL] Stock and optimized CyanogenMod kernels
But its extracted from RC3 (2012-05-26)

The stock kernel of RC3 is the same of the 2012-06-10 nightly.
The optimized kernel, however, has the same source of the new kernel we WILL have in the next nightly (I already applied the LCD Patch before it went official).
So, if you get the optimized kernel, you are ahead of the current stock kernel (with the latest bluetooth fix and the LCD Patch)
