Looking for a calendar and facebook/friendstream widget to use in ADW Ex on Honeycomb. Before Anyone says it, I bought Launcher pro plus years ago and love it, but I get FCs in honeycomb. For calendar I'm using business calendar but it is oddly sized / low resolution compared to the others I mentioned.
Thanks in advance.

Haven't tried them under HC but Android Pro Widgets has a combo Facebook/Twitter widget and a calender widget. You might give them a try.

There really isn't anything out there that is comparable to HTC's sense as far as looks an integration. There are a few clocks, not much else. mail widgets are especially bad. That's why I love sense. I do wish HTC would update sense launcher with a few modern options like grid sizing and more widget re size options. At least in HC they have some resize options but not enough. Yet there is no one widget package that offers much of anything to replace them on the market.

This was perfect. Meets my needs exactly! I was starting to contemplate going back to sense given ADW's problems (currently doesnt allow dock on bottom in landscape, no widgets) and the FCs I was getting in LPP. Thanks so much.
I saw apex was updated to support themes. I searched the market and didn't see many. Does anyone know of any there or on xda?

I used ADW EX on my Incredible, and just reloaded it in my Rezound. Sooo many themes, docks, icons, etc.

yeah, i saw it too thats why i updated and i tried to apply launcher pro miui icon pack from the market but i couldnt do so. how do i apply this icon pack? can it be done using apex free version?
With the hype about Apex supporting themes, you would think that there would be at least one out by now. hehe
It says it supports themes from ADW and Go, etc... But all it really supports are the icon packs and wallpapers, which you could already do with ROM Toolbox, etc...

Weird, mine only did that when Superuser was messed up, had some bad binaries or something and needed to be updated.
I am on Scott's CleanROM DE and it runs fine.
Yeah I haven't found any yet. But at least I can replace the icons on the home screens from an adw theme

I really am surprised that such a popular launcher that now supports themes, still hasn't had a single one made? Weird...

agreed. I really like Apex and would like to see some themes.
themes exist...a few but you must search more on the market. I'm using this one......https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.IronLyon.RedApex

I don't consider a red wallpaper and a slight red tinge to the stock icons to be a "theme"...
if i saw right it will support themes from other launchers so just search themes for those. the one i used is an ics one. just search ics and its the one with the android sandwich. it works for all other launchers so i assume it works for apex

On most of the other launcher's themes, it just imports the icons and wallpaper... it is very limited in what it can do. Personally, the theming in general is kinda weak. Icons, some colors and things is about all that really changes. None of them truly theme the OS, IMHO

True, I was just hoping that Apex would be able to offer something other than Icon and Font packs, which we can get through Recovery, ROM Toolbox, etc...
Hi Guys,
I have made several themes which are specifically made for Apex. It's just that Google Play Store Search Engine sucks so it is hard to find themes.
Anyways, You can find my Apex Themes here
Apex Themes by Photox Designs
I know that when you try to go to "get themes" option it takes you to a blank play store page. There is a theme template and I'm wondering if any of know of, have, or can make a theme, that preferably isn't so white.
Thanks
They have a google music theme on their site:
http://www.seeingpixels.org/2012/05/apollo.html
You can probably just download the template from there too.
Google music may not be the best theme, but it is definitely much darker and blends with the ICS theme better. Thanks. =]

Actually there is a black theme in the play store too that is pretty nice

I see the black theme now. It just came out today. It is pretty much an ics theme, black with that ics blue color. But sadly it doesn't theme the widget so that's still white.

Yes, I'm using Go Launcher EX 5 and works fine. You can play with the settings and remove the dock bar, etc to make it more like a tablet than a phone. Go HD is not getting developer support anymore...

Thanks for the input. I purchased the Next 3d shell when it was on sale. I was thinking of putting that on but the new version of Go Launcher looks pretty good as well.

I use Next 3D...love it.
Honestly Go Launcher isn't that great when compared to TSF Shell
go launcher seemed really laggy for me when i tried it. hd was fine though.i usually stick to nova, but tsf is a nice change every so often. chameleon works well on the tab too
Go launcher stil use cpu not gpu for ui. That's mean will very lag on high resolution. Not recommend use for tablet. TFS shell or nextlauncher good for tablet
I use Go Launcher 5 too, but it's a real pain to add widgets/shortcuts to screens because it will only add in portrait mode. I'd switch, but I love the transparent notification bar option.
Anyone know of any other tablet-oriented launchers with a transparent bar option?

Thanks for the input. I had purchased next 3d back wheni t was on sale. If seems to run very smooth on this tablet

Attached are the images of my setup with Next 3D. The home screen, my book/media screen, the folder/drawer view of the media icon, and the app drawer from the all apps page. The status bar has option to be transparent or solid blank...there are a lot of bells and whistles to customize to your hearts content. You can apply other icon themes...Apex, Nova, Go...name it. Hope this helps.
I personally love Nova Launcher on the HAM2. Here's a shot of my home screen with the following customization:
- Nova Launcher - Be sure to enable the "L" developer preview in for App animation under Look and Feel
- Moonshine Icon pack FREE on Google Play
- "L" inspired HD wallpaper
- Hello SMS
- SwiftKey keyboard
No screenshot, but I'm a Nova Launcher fan.

It looks so "girlish" to me.
Nova Launcher fan as well!
Custom UCCW skins, the Nova Quick search bar (L style) and the new Play Music widget.
I can't post screenshots yet BUT....
I use Mini Launcher. It's like stock android but with more customization. I also have this really cool wallpaper that responds to the touch; it mimics water. I'll come back and actually post some screenshots when I can.
UPDATE: I installed Nova Launcher seeing as how popular it is. It actually runs much better than the Mini Launcher I was using. It's much more responsive and it gets rid of the stupid gray boxes around the stock apps. I think I know what I'll be using now.....

If you're up to it, get Prime! Adds a few more features and on top of that, Nova is already a solid launcher.

I looked at Prime already but I don't think I would really use the features that are included. I'll keep it in mind though. I might find them useful later.

Don't the gray rectangles around the app icons bother you? Maybe I'm just OCD but I couldn't stand those.....I'm so happy they're gone!
Bothers me like hell . haha
I downloaded a theme that got rid of the rectangles but is hit or miss..
What I hate is the gray background on the home but on back area...

I think we need root to change it. It would require a change to the build prop.

So. Here are all the themes u could put to change the icons and wallpaper and lock screen on huawei devices :
http://www.emui.com/plugin.php?id=themezone
Don't matter if it's wrong device it still works. Download one and put it in HW theme folder in SD card, and it shows on the stock theme app. I used the balanced magazine theme to get rid of all the gray box thingies when using the google now launcher.
I'm using Holo Launcher HD.
