Got v3.2.8 of this game and it lags unbearably on the montreal and monte carlo track, it's fine everywhere else so far, anyone experiencing this or not?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using XDA App
Yes, same here
Have you tried any of the older versions, I'm guessing it must be some sort of bug, wonder if it's occurring on other phones

Yep same here it's definately a bug in the game 'cause all other games run perfect.
Too bad it's a good game!
I wonder when Fast 5 will be available for i9100...
hi guys from where do you download games for galaxy s2? because i have tried from some sites and games like sandstorm, black pegasus, tom clancys etc doesnt work properly on my s2 . thank you
hi guys, same thing in here... any solution find ???
i play this game on iphone and is very nice and want to play in my galaxy
Anyone else played Temple Run on the 10,1? Is it just me or do you need a giant's finger to swipe, That and for some odd reason random jumps and slides -.-
I don't know if it's the disappointment in the tab or the app. I feel both are responsible.
It is quite hard to play on teh tablet. just doesnt react like it should.
I also have the same problem. It looks like a fun, fluid game, but the controls are entirely unresponsive. Market (Play) reviews seem to agree with us. Here's hoping the dev pushes an update to the 10.1 owners
It's definitely a better experience on my Galaxy Nexus than on my Tab.
Mine worked fine till ICS, now it doesn't register my swipes at all.

I'm having the exact same problem on my desire running CM9/ICS hate having to play it on my apple products ..

I hate that I still own Apple products
I agree with the above LOL I want to play it on the damned 10.1
Then again they pushed out a brand new update today, might try it out to see if it fixes anything.
As for the swipe in ICS, I can't seem to calibrate the tablet nor do I find the option to do so in ICS. Would make the tilting easier as it is somewhat off.
I'm using stock rom and a Temple Run works perfectly.

I suppose the kang has its downsides, eitherway, not going to sacrifice a power based ROM over a 22MB game
Although it is damned addictive
Not much of a game person but yesterday I tried Temple Run on pershoot's latest 4.0.4 ROM/kernel and it worked without an issue.

Hello people I'm here to ask what do you think of the gaming experience on the Galaxy Ace. Is it ok for a medium budget android phone ? And how does it compare to the galaxy Gio?
-Thanks
You're getting the wrong phone
Ace-ing all tests.
Well honestly stock it SUCKS! But with mods like
- Skeleton ROM
- Slaidyboost
- Chainfire 3d
- Overclocking
You could play some games, but still not perfectly.
I'd say the Gio is just as good, it just has a smaller screen. - But will give you the same experience.
you mean i should not buy it ?
Ace is maybe a low budet android phone but runs games that was made in his time. My recomendation some other phone if you wana play new 3D games.
Sent from my GT-S5830 using XDA
depends on game engine... games like Tank Hero Laser Wars run on my ace great!
but, you cannot have an medium budget gamer phone, it doesn`t exist... but ace is one of the best in this range, obviusly modified, like in my config
so, my config: 245-864MHz SmartassV2 - CM7.2 by vo-1 (15/03/12) - ChainFire3D
sorry for poor english :\

but can a overclocked galaxy ace reach 1Ghz like the xperia mini pro? also the ace has 278 ram vs 512 of the xperia mini pro so thats a downside even with overclock...

No it's dangerous to over clock that high. And I heard tat the ace is overclocked at factory ready. Thats arm6 processor for you.

New 3D games = hi end phone, not Ace.
Unfortunately, due to the person designing the ace being drunk, we had crappy and outdated hardware (ARMv6, Adreno200 (Struggles with MDPI 3.5")
For a Gaming experience for a relatively low cost phone I could suggest the Galaxy S Advance (Not available in many countries) or the good old Si9000.
Angry Birds work perfectly... lol
Tried games like GTA or apps like MTG TOolbox and they work bad. :/
>2012, buys phone for gamin.
Get a 3DS/Vita for gaming. Or join the apple fanboi army to play extremely s... games.
Acer liquid metal is for gaming..

Why is this phone having trouble with emulators? Gameboid and n64oid having frequent slow downs.
My nexus s was far better than this? What is the reasoning?
I've had no problems with both. On N64oid I've been playing a lot of Zelda with no problems. Are you sure power saving is not enabled?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Because you are probably using the US version.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
Yeah I am on sprint. I just got a software update too maybe that has something to with it?
But still the evo had the old dual core and the nexus had a single core and they pladyed the games fine
US version is bad compared to int. People were saying "they're equal in term of perfs" my friend has the us version and n64 emulation freeze a lot while I have no problem on my gs3 int.
Sent from my Samsung Galaxy S3 ♥_♥
I have the international sgs3 and I play all of the emulators and I don't have any problems. I play a lot of gba and game gear and n64 and no lag.

Anyone here with the US version (Verizon, Sprint, or Tmobile)? I have the S4 dual core with 2 gb ram
STILL...my OLD Nexus S with a single core played both emulators without a hitch

T-Mobile here running AOKP and faux kernel. No slowdowns in any emulator.
So are you guys telling me that touchwiz is soooo bad that it is causing the emulator to slowdown or is there a technical glitch in my phone? I really wanted to play n64 games on this big screen phone:silly:

Well when I was running stock touchwiz I would get slow downs on gameboid, snesoid, and n64oid, so yea touchwiz is a a big memory hog like sense but not as ugly.

There's NOTHING like the classics That's why
Because a game like Zelda can never be found on the play store or the pure nostalgia of Mario 64 cant be rejuvenated from app games. Anyways, is my only option is to root and get rid of touchwiz?
O btw, nintendo 64 was 64 bit : p

I had frequent slow-downs on n64oid as well when on stock and i have an int' phone. I didn't try it on asop or cm9 yet but lets put it like this, i did not have these same slow downs on my htc desire z/g2. Touchwiz is the culprit no doubt.

I've got the international S3
I'm having the same problem with the Verizon version of the galaxy s3. I have found that if you disable the sound than it works perfectly with no lagging.
Ya I figured out I t works good without sound but Zelda has some pretty epic soundtrack
How hard is the root for this phone? Evo 3d was a nightmare!

Hey guys, Ive got my Nexus 10 since the first realease batch and I love it soooo much!
Only thing which realy dissapoints me is that there are a lot of aps out there (especially games)
which are not compatible with it.
Top titles like the just released Real Racing 3
I DONT GET IT.... its MADE for a device like the nexus 10....
why they are doing this to me (((
anyone knows a way to download the .apk even its not compatible?
Tegra/THD stuff won't be downloadable from Market (even though Tegra effects shouldn't be an issue on something more powerful than a Tegra 3... but w/e).
As for other games, the developer might just choose to restrict it to the most "popular" devices, and to not risk having negative reviews, mark it as incompatible with everything else. Pretty sure a Nexus 10 isn't as popular as, say, a Nexus 7, GS3, GNote, etc.
Only way to get the apk "legitimately" is to install it to a compatible device, then pull the apk off the device and then sideload it to the N10.
Real Racing 3 isn't released until the 28th?

It's the 28th in Australia. I downloaded RR3 from the play store just then on my Nexus10 and I'm currently download the extra files. Maybe it's a regional restriction?
Maybe he meant real racing 2? That ones not compatible. Not sure. Glad you're able to download it

Guys it's out in USA as of tonight...

Tried RR3. It downloaded 4.1 Gb cache but the graphics...black/white/pink textures, no reflections and shadows. Ugly, but runs fine. Better than NFS:MW on 4.2.1 and worse than on 4.2.2 with custom kernel
Im at work currently but assigned the game to my N10 via playstore. Will report in a couple of hours who it works on mine.
It really would be a shame to have such a great game not propperly working on our 'flagship' tablet. Do you maybe have this 4x anti alising thing active?
--edit--
works great without any issues
Is working fine on my tab

Works great here too. Maybe you guys changed some graphics settings? Like msaa or forced gpu? Thats caused issues for me in other games.

Is it Bettler in your nexuses? Maybe I try it without forced GPU settings....

Here's a video I just made of Real Racing 3 on my Nexus 10 connected to TV with HDMI with FPS Meter running (top left of screen). Recorded with Galaxy S2 at 720p and edited a bit (to hide my rubbish driving )
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UdcTbyt2fWo
Runs great. FPS drops to just below 30 on a few occasions but not really noticable. Most of the time it is 30-50 FPS. TBH there is some lag in the intro videos and the menus but who cares about that.
.....IF ONLY it had gamepad support!!!!
