Screen Tearing (Software) [Fixed] - Galaxy Tab 10.1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I've seem to develop a slight problem with my P7500.
First I started with the guide to root by djR3Z, which was the wrong method and I ended up with the rolling recovery screen. Then I followed the guide by isimobile to fix that. Then I followed the guide by this_is_nick6 to root the tablet.
Everything is hunky dory, the tablet rebooted and was working perfectly. Then the screen went to sleep, and when woke it up, chaos. The screen is tearing horisontally, not rolling like the recovery thing.
Any ideas on what I should do? Flash a new ROM? Revert to the completely stock ROM?
Thanks!

Fixed thanks to this guide

[Q] MT3G 1.6 rooting with ZeroXd ROM HELP.

First of all, sorry if this is in the wrong place. I searched for awhile, but there is SOOO much information here I got a little lost.
I have a MT3G that was running Donut. I wanted to root it and upload a new ROM...so I came here.
I reverted to Cupcake using SAPPIMG.nbh
Then I rooted using the walkthrough and :flashrec-1.1.3-20091107-2.apk and recovery.img
I attempted to reboot after installing ZeroXd-5.0r2-sapphire.zip
everything appeared to work correctly, and upon rebooting my phone powered on as normal.
The green My Touch screen came up, then it flashed HERO, and cut to ZeroXD, and quickly goes to a black screen with casper the friendly ghost. It appears to be trying to load further but only loops from the HERO logo back to the ZeroXd, and back to casper....over and over.
ideas?
wrong area? no ideas?
I can get to the Android Recovery Screen, and enable mounting and unmounting of the SD card.

[Q] Gtab wont turn on

Hi i am writing this after i dont know how many threads i read, how many videos i saw especially after the noob video.
But all fail i need to ask the masterminds,
i was trying to back up the ROM and one of the guides stated to use nvflash for full recovery i tried to follow that but after shutting the tab down in recovery mode.
its not turning on at all, its not even getting detected to windows 7 or linux ubuntu.
i just bought this tab today and i badly need help
so please help.
i am sure i rooted the tablet.
but havent installed any roms on it.
thank you for any help
you're getting a bump because I am in a similar situation.
I had VeganGinger on my tab. Was tired of the market crashes and was going to NVFlash back to the original and *possibly* go to the Flshback Honeycomb.
However after following all the instructions for NVFlash my tab was stuck in the boot loading screen. I tried to power off and boot into Clockwork Recovery Mode based on the Gtab for dummies site. however it would not do that. So I also followed suggestions to flash again. This time it seemed that the bat that ran on my computer ran more stuff (great terminology I know - sorry). I figured, hey - maybe it was a bad install. but alas, it did the same thing.
Again, following Gtab for dummies, I tried their NVFlash file. Same deal. However here is where I hard bricked. stuck in the loop again. Can't leave it like that forever. So I powered down. Now it won't do anything. Nada - zilch - zero.
So now you know my whole sad saga.
So I now have a piece of worthless plastic?
I would GREATLY appreciate any help!
Oh - and darn if I wasn't worried about running out of battery while putting a new ROM on there, so the battery was finishing charging shortly before the brick.

Phone stuck in boot loop

I have been running normal CM7 from BatF and decided to give Neutrino a try. I followed all the instructions. My phone is now in a bootloop on the M Dual Core screen. I tried entering recovery, but after I select it, the screen just goes black. Any ideas? I'm not receiving any kind of error code.
Well after some more research I was able to find out some more info.
I found this thread that seems very similar to mine:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1376993
I'm thinking I should follow post #5 but I was thinking of getting some confirmation before I screw anything else up.
Don't know why I never had Romracers before, but everything is working great now. Thanks to anyone who looked at the thread and thought about problems at least

[Q] Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 Verizon LTE (sch-i905) bricked, no recovery

Verizon Galaxy Tab 10.1 4G LTE (sch-i905)
So I got this tablet from a friend who said it was bricked, said I could have it if I got it working. So I plug it in and it turns on no problem, strange. wiped tablet and added a couple apps. Got busy at work and the tablet drain power. That's when I got to see it bricked, but still not sure why it booted for a bit for me.
Symptoms:
Boots to Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 splash screen (not the animated one after), sits there for ever.
Boots to Odin update mode
When booting to recovery I get a blank, back lit screen and nothing ever.
I've tried:
-Pushing clockwork mode to fix recovery
-I've had a hell of a time finding stock firmware for some reason (it isn't on sammobile), but I did find one eventually. I pushed it to the tablet via Odin, and it was successful, but rebooted to blank black back-lit screen. Have to hard boot and hold power buttun until I see the splash screen to get that far. I followed the guide on rootzwiki reposted on icsforums - www icsforums com/forum/showthread / 13525 (sorry new member can't post links)
-Followed another guide that involved draining battery completely, no go.
I don't care what firmware I end up on, or if I can use LTE (I won't anyway)
I'm a network engineer so I'm tech savy, but not heavy on Android OS. I'm looking for anything else I can try. I saw another method involving heimdall suite, but can't find the files for my model.
Any help or guidance is greatly appreciated.
@Juicebox4242
I had this problem on my gt-p7510...
What I ended up doing was wiping my sdcard..I must have had something corrupt in my file system or a kernel issue( still not sure which )..
Since you have no recovery..I think you can use odin to repartition ( I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH THAT THIS IS JUST A GUESS )..I have not tried it..but i will search after this post to confirm..I also believe there is a way using ADB..again not sure..
I just wanted to post this so you would know somebody was looking and to maybe give you a couple ideas to follow up on...I'll search around and see what I find
Edit...I believe ADB will only work with usb debugging checked...But you can flash a stock rom in odin with re-partition checked..you need a .pit file....I think...
Edit...Here is a link to a stock rom thread for you're device..It seems to have helped a couple people with their soft-bricked devices..just follow directions in OP..no repartition checked. I cant even find a .pit file to do a re-partition with for you're device..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1342995 Let me know if this works for you..
Thanks for the post!! Really appreciate it.
That firmware is the one I found in the end and tried. Odin pushes it ok, but then still doesn't boot. In fact after pushing that firmware it boots to backlit blank screen, but when hard reset boots to splash screen.
I tried a pit file I found that I thought was the right one, but it failed when I used that so it must have been wrong.

I have the exact same problem as you, except sometimes I can't my tablet to boot. I know it is a software problem because before I was messing with recovery yesterday, everything was working just fine. All I wanted to do was restore to factory settings and instead ended up bricking the device... If you find / know the answer, please do share.

Did you ever get this fixed? I've had the same problem for months. I just gave up and put it away. I recently fixed a Galaxy Tab 2 and now I want to see if anyone else was able to fix this i905 not booting issue.
did anyone know the solution of this question

No capacitive buttons on stock STF-L09C432B120

Hey guys,
sorry, that I post this the second time, but I think my question got lost in the discussion of the other thread and nobody else there seems to have the same problem anyway.
I also lost my capacitive buttons, but the rebrand guide did not work for me. I'm on stock STF-L09C432B120 now, but my capacitive buttons are not back (flash and flashlight are working though). Going back to B120 helped everybody else, when they lost their buttons.
I had OpenKirin's RROS v5.8.5 / OpenKirin's TWRP 3.1.1-1 running for 3 weeks without problems. But after I updated Magisk, I was stuck at the lockscreen. Every time when I entered my pin, the screen went dark for a second. When it went on again, I was still on the lockscreen. So I recovered a backup that I made before via TWRP. This got me rid of the lockscreen-problem, but since then the capacitive buttons are gone.
So I followed the rebrand guide, but as mentioned, this did not work. I also tried it via /dload, but without a positive result.
My next step would be to install Oreo (since somebody wrote, that this brought him the buttons back), then rollback to B120 and install RROS again. But this seems very experimental and unsure to me.
Do you have any other ideas what I can do now? Any help would be very appreciated!

As I wrote (and linked) in my post, I already followed your guide. I went successfully from B120 to B130 and back with it, but none of these steps brought me the buttons back.
But thanks for your help!
