The Model verains are specified but not the sub cat, will the rooting procedure wirk on my p6210xxlb2? If in case I brick it, Is there a kernel version and ROM that can rep
lace the XXLB2?
I just want to make sure that if I make a mistake, I will have a fall back plan.
Thanks very much.

Hello i am hoping that someone will be able to help me. I tried rooting my phone and when it booted up i don't have a network. Now i can't' call/text/checkemail.
I tried resetting to factory settings and that didn't work. how do i remove the root so its back to stock?
Thank you!
Rooting phone has nothing to do with the network you did something wrong .
Remove root by flashing full stock firmware matched as close as possible to your original firmware .

I replies as per Samsung Galaxy SGS2 i9100 model and know nothing about a Sprint phone .
It would make sense to either look for a Sprint thread here or if Sprint is in the stock rom links i gave download the latest .
If it worked before root the strong probability is that you made a mistake its usually recoverable though but no idea how you rooted .

Have a simple question for someone out there... I have the rooting thing down. But now I'm trying to flash a rom onto my Samsung Infuse 4g ATT.. Anyhow when it says System/Recovery now I go to the system folder first then I go into the recovery folder correct? Just wanting to make sure I am doing the correct procedure for flashing this.. I have already bricked three phones this month... LOL thank you Best Buy for such a wonderful phone protection plan.. LOL, and in advance thanks for yalls help!!!!
So, I think I know what's wrong, but I'm not sure.. I've used Odin to flash my phone. I think I flashed an Skyrocket kernel on it, which works, however the buttons down "there" don't work, what are they called?
So, I got one copy of the original kernel, but I need to make it to a .tar file, no clue how to, care to tell me?
Now, I do have one copy of my original rom, but I wouldn't mind using another one, because of all the bloatware, so can I, is it possible to flash a new rom for an other phone on my galaxy s II LTE, or do the roms need to be made for one specific phone?
that's about all I know about everything on Android, if I'm wrong at certain things, please feel free to correct me, and if you so kindly want to help, try to dumb it down to my level.
I have no clue what I'm doing.
up up up
I got the kernel, I need to convert it to tar! HOW?
Hi guys!
This might be a strange/noob question, but could somebody tell me all possible ways to brick/hardbrick a phone?
I'm new to android's world and I already bricked my S2 twice (Im not proud of it)
Hopefully I found the solution to unbrick it.
I really want to try new ROMs, kernels, etc., but I'm really afraid of doing something stupid and hard bricking my phone.
So I want to know, what I mustn't do with it.
Thanks in advance.
The quickest way to brick your phone is to not read and understand what you're about to do.

Yep. RTFM. I can count the number of people who bricked their phones on here over the past two years who were 'unlucky' on both hands (and that's out of many thousands). Almost always user error of some kind. Make sure you use a machine that you know has reliable USB ports if you're doing an Odin flash, make sure you use cables (preferably original Samsung ones) in perfect condition.
First off let me start off by saying sorry if this is in the wrong forum, moderators please move if it is.
Ok so i have searched the internet for about 3 hours and im sure i am probably not in the right place to post on here as well but i didnt find the us cellular version of the s3's forum so.. In any case im trying to figure out if my bootloader is unlocked as im quite new to this rooting thing i haven't figure out what all i can do and id really rather not brick my phone by flashing a rom onto a locked bootloader I have cwm recovery installed and have a nandroid backup and have even customized a fair bit of stuff already but i'm curios to find out if i have an unlocked bootloader or how to unlock it if its not.
