I faced this weird problem many times since I flashed the ICS

I have LWW stock rom with some of lasan mods and krsh kernel
Did you remove bloatware ?
I once deleted clock apk, or something related to it... caused my clock to freeze and not to load on restart

What actually freezes, clock widget or clock in status bar (upper right corner) ?
If widget freezes, try to remove it and add it again. Also, try clearing cache for that apk.

I removed the widget but today I had the same problem
have you tried to deactivate the "automatic date&time" settings? and tried to set the date & time manually? because i have kinda problem with the time from network-provided time..

Hi!!
As experienced by other users with other devices, my clock randomly stucks, both statusbar and widget clocks.
I must force reapplying the time from preferences to fix (the device "knows" the right hour).
Must say it's annoing and can be dangerous looking at the wrong hour...
I have lasan mod on SK17i stock rooted.

happens in all the ROM's except the AWESOME cm9.0 by FXP..... doesnt happen in it.... although i had to sacrifice the awesome GALLERY app in real ics and nero.... and the walkman app too..... but will find a way soon.....
if just anyone gives me the link to all these apps could find a solution.....

It happen the same thing for me, status clock is freeze sometime, i just rotate it to landscape mode and it refreshes... The widget clock is working fine for me, only the status bar clock.

Im having troubles with my sgs2 since I started flashing roms on it. Everytime I put a clock/Battery widget it just stops at random times, Even the status bar clock bugs all the day, I've tried changing roms, Kernels, (i do a data/cache/dalvik wipe before flashing anything)
Did anyone else me have this problem ?
ps: Fixing permissions/wiping dalvik does not fix this....

try this, go to systemsettings>date and time there uncheck 'Automatic Time Zone' then reboot ur phone and then try those widgets again and see

For widget clock, did you frequently clear ram without excluding it? It will stop whenever you clear ram without excluding it.

I always exclude widget from task killers, But Sun90's fix looks like its working for now. =) the problem must come from my provider, Ty anyway ;D

Yes, You can change the background image but... you should be using an NXT lockscreen instead of using that Ring lockscreen... in case you want to use the NXT lockscreen with settings.apk from the file given here... flash this in cwm and you get settings.apk in which there is an option for lockscreen there you can change the WALLPAPER AS YOU LIKE

thanks for your help, i flashed your zip with cmw there's just one problem. The menu has changed and I've got the lock screen options but with that the menue from the ultimate hd mod and rom is gone. Besides that the new lockscreen does not apply.
Is there a way to combine your lockscreen with my rom?
so far i managed to join the nxt lock screen settings with my already modded setting.apk with this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=28950918&postcount=214
the problem is that when trying to install the nxt lockscreen from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1772120
it results in a boot loop.
when i combine my modded settings.apk with your file aneel, the phone boots fine but theres no new lockscreen...
(and in the settings apk the icon of the new menu ist not exactly where its supossed to be, it is a few pixels on the left side compared to the other ones, but thats just a minor beauty bug)
any new ideas?

Try doing with this settings you'll find the lockscreen settings in settings>>display scroll down you'll find lockscreen option there and you'll also have the option to overclock using overclock tool in advance settings and also the quickpanel settings

The settings menu is as described but missing only the lockscreen settings

All of a sudden I have no icons on my home screen, only labels. I can still launch programs by touching where the icons should be but they are all invisible. My lock screen has only pink squares where the shortcuts should be as well. I have tried changing themes and Icons but to no effect. Has anyone else run into this?

like what rom are you using,did you flash any mods,etc that will help pin point what the problem is and how best to fix it

This is on Viper 3.0.1. No mods installed other than what is in the Viper Customizer app. I was installing apps after (finally) getting my 3g data working, went back to the home screen, no icons. I have just tried fixing permissions, clearing caches, and wiping data for Sense. I'm unsure what the Sense UI actually shows up as under Apps or Titanium Backup so I wiped data on pretty much everything that said 'Sense'. No go :/
try reflashing the rom without wiping anything(dirty flash) if that doesnt work then rewipe stsyem and reflash rom
They might still have ICS icons in their hub, that can f*ck up a lot of ish...

If you have task manager open it up press refresh. Then press stop all. See if it brings your widgets back.

Ok so, I tried to replace my phones systemui.apk with another one(the one that has circular battery in status bar). When I first moved it, I deleted the old one, I didnt backup it(big failure), and I didnt change the permissions on the new one. My phone had to reboot and after that I have got no system ui, although the app is in there(i changed its permissions to what they should be but It didnt help...) I know that I can fix that by flashing again via flashtool, but my laptop is old and sometimes crashes (thank god) before the flashing... Any help will be appreciated.
