I extracted the system.ext4 files of the backup and paste the right build.prop file inside the extracted folder. Now using the explorer app from the android market I have been able to recreate the new 'system.ext4.tar' file with the right build.prop.
Now this is where I need your advice people. I can go ahead and change the nandroid.md5 and change the md5 value to match the value for the new 'system.ext4.tar' file. So this will not give me the md5 mismatch error. My question is that would this actually work and allow me to recover from the backup which I made?
Update:
MD5 won't verify the change.
MD5Checker passes all 4 files, android file verifier passes only 3 files, the system.ext4.tar file still fails. Any possible fix for this?

Music app appears to be broken/nonfunctional. May be because I didnt flash the user data.
At first look, appears that some of the graphical glitches/slowness are gone, may just be an artifact of being a "clean" install.

DL Entropy's back to stock package with root, then use Terminal Emu to inject the zimage of the kernel you want.
I just did it 2 days ago from KK6...

The kernel + rooted UCKH7 system package is here: http://www.multiupload.com/PNQC9KOD4D or http://dev-host.org/UWm
That was step 2c.
Then for step 3, pick whichever you prefer. I do it using Terminal Emulator (3c) after placing the zimage of the kernel I want on the root of the sdcard.

Hey guys, When the pen is used on CGROM, the pointer shows up... Its really annoying, so I made a small flashable package to get rid of it...
Download here: http://www.mediafire.com/?g5iic8u352vw79v
MD5: f2d23d827a870e43451c5bfc709d104c
For those people who are having trouble flashing it:
1. Download and extract the zip.
2. Copy the framework-res.apk to your sd-card.
3. Using any file manager with root control, move it to /system/framework. (Overwriting the old one)
4. Set permissions to 644.
5. Reboot... Enjoy!
NOTE: This is not an official release by yncconsulting!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
If this helped you or you like it please click thanks!
Thanks for the file but when I try to install it I get an error in the installation process it said status 6 whatever that means. Any ideas.
Maybe an md5 for the file.
Sent from my HTC Express using xda premium
Alright, fixed... Redownload, check md5, flash away!
Md5 matches but still getting installation aborted (status 6) something I am doing wrong but I don't know what I could be doing wrong flashing with CWM any other ideas?
Sent from my HTC Express using xda premium
Hmm are you using the CWM that is flashed by HC Multi Tool?
OP Updated.
worked great
Thanks for this it worked great and now the pointer is gone thanks for the great work.

Depends on what your using to copy it... But this is standard:
Press and hold the file until you get the options menu, find permissions on the list and click it... Make sure it looks like this:

Follow this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1474987 Only the first part though...
First and foremost here is the thread I believe to be OP abandoned and I give small credit to cause of the lack of upholding it.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2586472
Visit the thread above and grab the fastboot.bin file and move it to
system/bin (rename to fastboot)
Change permissions to ?

Once you have fastboot where it needs to be than you now need to know where to place flashable files right?
(root of sdcard)
Below is a video of how to flash a custom recovery using a Tablet to an HTC ONE M8 .the process can be performed from phone to phone, tablet to tablet, phone to tablet, tablet to phone .
