EDIT: Okay, although Chainfire 3D is incapable of emulating Tegra 3 hardware, it emulates Tegra 2 hardware quite well. This can work to our advantage, because as it turns out, Riptide GP's enhanced Tegra 3 effects are actually enabled in-game via the options menu. It took some tinkering, but this is what I figured out. Upon launch, Riptide GP does a device check to see what SoC your device is using. If a Tegra SoC is detected, the option for enhanced graphics and effects is added to the in-game options menu. So, while using the NVIDIA Chainfire 3D plugin will not do anything to enable Tegra 3 features, it allows you to enable those features yourself. Following the steps below should get you where you want to go.
1.) Install Riptide GP & Chainfire 3D w/plugins.
2.) Open Chainfire 3D & enable the NVIDIA plugin for Riptide GP, unroll textures, and force 24-bit (Anti-Aliasing is optional if you're using the beta GL driver).
3.) Launch Riptide GP. At this point, no Tegra 3 graphics or effects have been enabled. Open the options menu and go into the graphics options. Max the slider out.
4.) Exit the options menu and start a game. You will now notice glass-like water, and water droplets on the screen when you get sprayed.
I hope that you've found this useful. It wasn't the simple file edit I was hoping for, but it does work. Enjoy!
##################################
Like Dead Trigger, Riptide GP also contains optimizations for the Tegra 3 SoC. These optimizations are not Tegra-only features. The Exynos 4 Quad (Exynos 4412) is perfectly capable of running the game with the enhanced graphics & physics. As a matter of fact, in the case of Dead Trigger, these supposed "Tegra-only" features are handily displayed on my Galaxy Tab 7.7 (GT-P6810), Galaxy Note (GT-N7000), and Galaxy S II (GT-I9100); all of which run a much slower, and much less powerful Exynos 4 Dual (Exynos 4210).
So that being said, what I would like to know is how to enable these enhanced graphics and physics for Riptide GP. There is a guide for enabling these features for Dead Trigger. So is there a guide for doing the same with Riptide GP? I did a Google search and searched XDA as well. I never actually found the guide for Riptide GP; just a reference to it in the Dead Trigger guide.
Can somebody please help me? Thank you in advance.

Chainfire 3D cannot emulate Tegra 3 hardware. Chainfire himself has addressed this issue on several occasions. Using the NVIDIA plugin in ANY game optimized for Tegra 3 hardware will do absolutely nothing to improve the graphics and/or enable any Tegra 3 features. I appreciate the advice, but Chainfire 3D can only enable Tegra 2 games and/or Tegra 2 features; not Tegra 3 games. In order to enable enhanced graphics for Tegra 3 devices, files usually need to be modified to "switch" those features on. In the case of Dead Trigger, an XML file needs to be opened and two values increased. One value adds features, and the other value increases quality. On a Tegra 3 device, these values are represented as quality settings in the in-game options; but the options are unavailable on non-Tegra hardware. So the values have to be changed manually via the XML edit. This is what I'm looking for in Riptide GP.
So, as I asked before, is there a guide, similar to the XML edit for Dead Trigger, that will enable the Tegra 3 features for Riptide GP?

It has the same storyplot, weapons and stupid AI. So by my standards it is =)
Tetris has always been the same game too, regardless of how nicely they tried to animate it
Afaik you need to hack the APK to get it to work... but I have no details on what exactly needs to be modified.
Since I don't own the game, have you tried looking into the shared_prefs folder of the game in the /data/data/ folder?
It seems to be Unity-based too so maybe a similar file can be found.

Ya'. I've been digging around. I'm sure I'll find it eventually, but I was just hoping someone could point me in the right direction. I really hate the bull**** deals NVIDIA's made with game developers. The Exynos 4 Quad (Exynos 4412) absolutely spanks the Tegra 3. NVIDIA doesn't put anything special in their SoC's; just a bunch of bull**** marketing. Don't get me wrong. The Tegra 3 is a very nice SoC, but it's not an albino unicorn sprinkled in fairy dust.

You could show them your middle finger as recently did Linus Torvald, the father of Linux and by extension the kernel of the Android operating system.
I doubt they'll notice though.
If you want to, please zip and PN me the corresponding files in the /data/data/GAMENAME/ folder of your phone and I'll have a look at them.
Maybe (hopefully) it's a single value-toggle and you're good to go.
Same with Xbox they bribe the game developers for quicker DLC when clearly the ps3 or PC are much better.

So that's the reason why Valve released the updates free-of-charge on the computers while they were (at least partially) paid on the Xbox? :fingers-crossed:
As for the PS3 being better... it's a nightmarish hell to code for. You only need 3 cores top in a computer game and the PS3 got it's horsepower spread across 7...
Could we please go back to the problem at hand?

I'll make it easier on you. When I get back home later this week, I'll find a way to get you the *.apk; with the explicit understanding that this is to be a legitimate attempt to add functionality, not a way to get a free copy of Riptide GP. I do not support or condone warez.

If I wanted an illegal copy of Riptide, I'd have it several hours. These things are not hard to come by.
However the Apk has license checks so even if I extract it I cannot be sure if some files are not created during run-time.
So please just upload that particular folder's content.

I'm sorry. I wasn't clear. I meant that I would send you the extracted files from the apk WITH the files you asked for. Not a cracked apk for installation. That way you could see everything that went into the apk. That's why I was so specific about it's purpose. But if all you need are the /data files, I'll upload those to my Dropbox account when I get home. I won't be able to until then. Just out of curiosity, do you have a Tegra device, or is the I9300 your only device? I was just thinking that a side-by-side comparison would make it a lot easier to tell if you had successfully enabled the features or not. Then again, you don't have the game. Would it just be easier if I bought it for you? I'm cool with just sending the files, but then there still has to be some way of seeing if it worked. It's just a thought. Either way, I'll upload the files as soon as I can.

I used Chainfire 3D and it unlocked Tegra 3 graphics for me. Perhaps the in-game check just looks for a Tegra chip in general? I then did the XML edit after installing a new ROM (and wiping etc.) and it had the same affect.

If it unlocked anything, it unlocked Tegra 2 features. It's been able to do that for a while now. For example, the only way I can play Galaxy On Fire 2 THD, is with Chainfire 3D via the NVIDIA plugin. But if a game and/or feature is explicitly for the Tegra 3, Chainfire 3D won't do anything for you. This is because the ULP GeForce GPU on the Tegra 3 SoC is a closed and proprietary platform. While other devices, such as the Mali GPU in the I9300, are more than capable of running the same content as the ULP GeForce, it cannot emulate it in any way. So where the NVIDIA Chainfire 3D plugin can make games believe they're running on Tegra 2 hardware, it cannot make games believe they're running on Tegra 3 hardware. This is why XML edits and other modifications are necessary. Since there's no way to coax the features out with emulated hardware, the features have to be forced out with modifications.

OFF TOPIC: Dont bring in 360 vs ps3 here mate. I've had enough of ps3 dudes saying it's supre duper, 120fps 1080p, super computer. It was a lie all along, like ps2 days when sony claimed toy story graphics were possible on ps2. Ps3 is just a number crunching machine, good for [email protected] kind of apps. The nv based gfx on board was put in at the last moment since cell coudn't handle the graphics, initially thought to be. So in the end both 360 and ps3 are same when it comes to games. If you want a super giant expensive calculator than ps3 is the machine. For me, it's been 360 since 2006 jan and i never believed the lies/hype of sony.
ON TOPIC: I wish Samsung could also provide incentives to devs to enhance their apps for SIII but since it's gonna sell millions of units anyways i doubt they'll be bothered to do it.

Wow. You told dilzo "Dont bring in 360 vs ps3 here mate." and then you did it yourself. And besides, the PS3 has more GFX horsepower than the 360. It's not an opinion or matter for debate. It's simply more powerful. It's tragic flaw is that it's such a ***** to develop for. The market has already shown that top developers prefer to write titles for the 360. And in the end, content is king. So the 360 may be more successful, more fun, and have more/better titles, but it is nowhere near as powerful as the PS3.
Anyway, back ON TOPIC. Let's get this Riptide GP crap figured out.

I'm sure most of you have seen the game demo's shown on the Prime, including Riptide, Shadowgun, Glowball ...etc, I am yet to see Tegra games such as the following:
Galaxy on Fire 2 - this should look amazing!
Shine Runner - hoverboat racing
HISTORY Great Battles Medieval - this was first tested on the nvidia quad-core reference tablet, which revealed how smooth a strategy game like this could be played
Zen Pinball - funky twist on pinball
Vendetta Online - another space game, but centred around MMO
Bang Bang Racing
Dark Meadow - another game to look forward to. Good visuals and an interesting storyline
I really hope other gaming company's head towards Android development in the near future, the mear fact that there are thousands of roms for various emulators and can be played with a ps3/xbox remote is a huge +
However I would like to see more PC like games possibly ported onto Android, for example Homeworld/Homeworld Cataclysm, Command & Conquer series, Half-life/Portal series, Borderlands...to name a few. I'm not sure where the community stands on this type of development, I'm sure it's not an easy task, but it has to be possible as it would grab alot of interest. I'm not saying necessarily the brand new releases, but at least some of the classic's that we know and love which would be ideal for some mobile gaming.
Just a thought, but share your ideas and suggestions
Porting from x86 environment (PC) is not an easy thing. And good games need good controls, even though we are at the point where gamepads are finally supported i dont think devs can make games that depend on it. So alot of games wont really work with touchscreen controls.
I think the best thing we can do if we want good games is pay for the ones that will come out on tegra3, so the companies make some money out of it.
And if you count alle the Tegra2+Tegra3 games + gameloft + other companies + emulator you get alot of good games already available. This Tablet is not thought as a replacment for my Desktop gaming pc.
Get onlive app and you can play all the great pc games.

NVidia has collaborated with a lot of game development teams (as you can see in most games credits), and Asus is the manager of the "Republic of Gamers" community. It should be time for them to push the developers to create good Android games. Anyway, a good game usually means more than a year of development. Providing how long has been Android alive, and how long has it been a smooth enough OS... my guess is game developers will start moving towards it but games will take its time to come.

I'm hoping for a Torchlight or Torchlight 2 port or version that works it's way to Android because I feel Action RPG would work great on a touch screen and since Torchlight has a netbook mode I feel it would run awesome on Tegra 2-3.
I'm also interested in Onlive but I'm concerned about bandwidth because I have a 6mb DSL connection and my wife and kids use netflix as the primary source of TV. I guess I could head over to evil charter but then the price doubles...
Anyway, I feel that we will get some AAA titles for android in 2012 and it will spike even further from there... I expect some good augmented reality games and some 3d action from Nvidia as well. =)

When Google merges Chrome into Android it should get much better. At least we would get Bastion. I see Android on the forefront on games on mobile device with stuff like Tegra, but with different capabilities per device there is not much incentive to make a really spectacular game that only runs on a few devices.

The games you mentioned are OK. The highlights are Dark Meadow and the Pc games you listed. I'm looking for more hardcore oriented games now. I had ShineRunner on iPad. It was cool but same ol really. Riptide much better although same people make it. I'm getting tired of the kiddy oriented simple games. Bring Metro 2033 or Batman Arkham city. Or would love to see some over the top FPS, maybe something from Broken Sword series, or maybe a tegra3 version of Dead Space.
Like you said, a really good, in depth game will take at least a year to develop. Only thing is with as fast as these tablets come out with newer, more powerful hardware, the development has to be shorter. Unless made in advance to run on future hardware specs also. Until I seen OnLive, I've been sleeping on PC games. I was always more of console type gamer. I cant front though, the games I've seen for Pc are sick as a Mofo on OnLive. PC versions of console games usually better or better graphics n extras. Mobile platform gaming needs more hardcore oriented games. Games that take a good amount of time to beat. Has to be more in depth. I'd love for Bethesda to make an Elder scrolls version for us. I miss playing that game. I had it when it came out for xbox one, the Morrowind version.
I think OnLive may be our only access to these type of gsmes till developers start producing these type games. ShadowGun is cool but I have it for iPad n just about beat it. I need more than that. Bladeslinger looks cool but very similar to infinity blade, which I have infinity blade 2 already. I want more games like Dead Space. That game is very well put together n always scare the sh€£ outta me when playing. That's how into I be, especially when playing with headphones on. I understand a tablet is supposed tp be pick up n go type device, but we need a more I intimate gaming experience. For some people, this tablet will be the only form of gaming they have. Like me. I no longer have console systems. My iPad is my sole device to fulfill my gaming desires. I have all the best games, IMO. So along with being a productivity device, I hope the Prime can continue my love of gaming also. I know IOS has way more games, but I have e feeling the tegra3 will open doors to some serious games to come. We need more unreal and doom3 type engine powered gsmes. Those usually produce the best visuals and gameplay. I like the more simple games also but I'm really looking for games to really make you think and put up a great challenge..

This was also said about Tegra3:
- Sébastien Deguy, CEO and Founder at Allegorithmic
“Tegra 3’s quad-core processor and 12-core GPU allows developers to port PC and console game titles using BitSquid Tech for the same great experience on any device. From a hard-core gamer’s customized PC to a phone or tablet with Tegra, you’ll get identical game play and buttery smooth graphics, anywhere any time."
- Benjamin Lee, Managing Director at Blowfish Studios
”Thanks to Tegra 3′s fantastic GPU performance we were able to use the same quality textures in Zombie Driver THD as on the PC. The outstanding quad-core CPU performance makes it possible to support Tegra game development in parallel to other high-end platforms.”
Some more details:
The GPU is also significantly more powerful than the Tegra 2 GPU, with up to 3x performance, while also adding other graphics features such as dynamic lighting, which they say no other current mobile GPU has that. Dynamic lighting makes for much more realistic environments and gaming experiences.
The game developers working on Tegra 3 games say that the 4 CPU’s help a lot with in-game damage effects, animated textures, weather effects and so on. So don’t be surprised if games made for Tegra 3 actually look better than other games made for other GPU’s, even if those GPU’s manage to get higher score in synthetic benchmarks (I’m looking at you A5/PowerVR SGX543Mp2).
Now this is very promising details!

Yep! GTA 3 Works like a Dream on my Prime!! OMG with headphones, the radio stations sound amazing!!!
I'm going to Best Buy this weekend, what wireless controllers work? Xbox?
I am just taking a shot in the dark here but but couldn't it be possible to emulate the PS Vita on the prime since they both use the Quad-Core ARM Cortex A9. I don't remember how the gpu's stack up against each other but the specs are pretty close. Only thing would be that it is an emulation and that even though they share similar components it may still not be possible.
I highly doubt the vita would be possible as the devise emulating must have 4 times the processing power, but while we're on that note I would love to see a psp emulator or maybe even a GameCube emulator or a dream cast emulator. Anybody thinks this would be possible? These 3 systems are about a decade old now and should thearedicaly be possible. I know I would pay 20 bucks if my games were playable on my prime!
Could be possible because of the fact that the processors are similar it would be sweet if we could just dual boot with the PS Vita OS

could be possible or porting the games over to us to make it easier. One thing though this NeoDeoid(NeoGeo Emulator) that I have one my prime is sick! I've been playing Metal Slug3, Last Blade2, Double Dragon Fighting Game, EightMan, and Fatal Fury1. They all look n play great on the Prime. Only thing is its a hit or miss finding the NeoGeo Roms that work. I've ran thru a bunch and found those ones I've listed to work so far. FPse(PlayStation) emulator works good also. The roms be huge though..lol. I have my X-Men Vs. Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Einhander on it. Its so crazy playing these fighting games on the Prime now.
A dreamcast and Gamecube one could easily be done if someone made am emulator for it. I'd want a 3DO or Sega Saturn Emulator Also. Good old SnesDroid and GeneDroid(Genesis and Sega Master System)plays whatever you through at it basically. its when you get to emulators requiring a BIOS that things get tricky and not every game wants to work. Or even better an Xbox emulator is possible also. Prime has more than enough muscle for it.
I remember reading something about their being some sort of sony SDK that allowed you to offer your games for the vita and Tegra 3 devices idk where but this would be exactly what we need!

here you go. sounds great! Article says Tegra3 should easily be able to push n play PS vita games. Also that future PlayStation certified devices will include Tegra3 chipset. Sony and Nvdia have a good partnership going. Plus we can expect PlayStation classics and vita games to roll out very soon for Prime.
http://androidandme.com/2011/09/news/playstation-suite-sdk-should-bring-ps-vita-games-to-android/
yeah i was just emulating a ps1 game and without the filtering off it was able to almost get 100 FPS which is really good! we can almost push some PS3 games if we can push VITA games cuz the graphics are so close!

Here is a video showing that you can play Skyrim on the Transformer Prime using Splashtop THD and an XBOX remtote.
http://phandroid.com/2012/01/10/playing-skyrim-on-the-asus-transformer-prime-ces-2012/
"It only works when you combine an NVIDIA GeForce powered desktop computer with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 tablet, but the combination is impressive to say the least. Splashtop packetizes the video and delivers it via Wi-Fi to the Transformer Prime’s screen with minimal loss in video quality. With an XBOX remote connected directly to the Transformer Prime, we were playing Skyrim on our Android tablet as if it were no big deal."

I know that must be cool. I just wish Bethesda would go on an create some games for tegra3 platform. I'd love to natively play Elderscrolls up here on the prime. Even if it was either of the older Xbox versions like Morrowind.
I admit that would be the best way. Maybe with the Android tablets getting more power for gaming, some of these game manufacturers might consider doing versions for tablets.

technically Tegra3 does have the power to do it, to some extent. Its just a matter of the developers hoping on board for Android/Tegra3 platform. If ipad1,with inferior specs, could have companies like epic use unreal engine and produce games like Infinity Blade or Rage HD, then it should be no Hassle at all to produce stuff for Tegra3.
I would also think that the Tegra SoC's offer a GPU more familiar to PC game developers than something like the Adreno's and stuff commonly in phones. But face facts: the count of Tegra chips out there versus iPads = not worth the money unless you already can do it for low investment, or are already seriously invested in Android game development.

This demo used a new version of Splashtop, Splashtop THD. It is specifically designed to run only with the Tegra processor. It only works when you combine an NVIDIA GeForce powered desktop computer with an NVIDIA Tegra 3 tablet.
Is your PC running an ATI or NVIDIA graphics card?
damn, i never saw that bit about "nvidia only" until now. very disappointing..
do you think this will work with a mac running an NVIDIA GPU

My PC has an ATI card.
However, the issue is with how the mouse is controlled, not performance. Moving the mouse on the tablet does not move the mouse on the PC until after you either touch the screen or click the mouse. Holding down the mouse button to move created some weird effect which caused the camera to move erratically...

I'm running a prime with an ATI powered PC as well, had success connecting and starting the game in windowed mode and moving about with the WASD controlls on the keyboard, but like you, I also had major issues with the camera trying to use a mouse. I couldn't get it to run smoothly as the camera swung around wildly.
Has anyone had success with this? And if so, what were the steps/setting used? This has been a major disappointment!

The TFP could easily run Morrowind or even Oblivion if Bethesda wanted to port them. They could actually make a lot of money if they did, but the chance is slim.
Oblivion runs on medium graphics very smoothly on my Windows 8 Acer W500. There's no doubt that the TFP could handle Oblivion.

From what I could gather from the video was that it was run using a different version of Splashtop than the one installed on our Primes. It will be Splashtop THD and is not available as of yet. Maybe this new version will have better mouse/trackpad support. This demo was showing what is to come, not what is currently available.

I have a feeling high quality gaming will take off very soon. Soon developers who makes games for apples will want the Android piece of pie also. More money to be made as more people own Android devices. Tegra3 optimized games or games geared towards high end tablets like this will pop up soon.

I saw on a local news last night showing some of whats at the macworld. One of which is the company that created splashtop and they had a Macbook connected to another windows laptop. They werent showing games though but just the windows screen on the mac. I assume its the non THD version mac version. I heard the rep mention splashtop (they didnt say THD) is available for iphone, ipad, and android. but I assume splashtop THD can and will probably be used across all platforms eventually if it were to follow splashtops (non THD) footstep.
Using the pre-installed Splashtop Remote Desktop app, I was able to run and successfully play Civilization V in windowed mode at my native desktop resolution (1680x1050) and it worked perfectly. Again, I'm using a TF201 and a windows based PC and ATI card.
With Skyrim it is boiling down to simply not being able to control the camera using a USB mouse plugged into the keyboard dock. Games which do not require extensive camera movement (real time strategies, the Sims, etc) they work perfectly and actually transition well to a touch screen.
Hopefully future updates will help. Also I'm going to continue to tweak around with game settings. If anyone else is having success, let me know.

Why do some people randomly say that? Lol. Let me in on the joke..I don't get it lol
Good evening ladies and gents.
I'm about to jump off the fence and buy a new phone (and since I'm posting here I guess you've figured that I'm seriously considering the S3). But before I choose I want to know which games I can expect to be able to play. I stumbled onto the Tegra Zone a few months after I bought my Desire HD and was quite disappointed that it didn't support the content. I know the S3 doesn't have Tegra but stil a lot of the games are still supported/available.
I've now read through dozens of threads but I'm unable to find out how one figures out which games the S3 can run. In some cases I see thats it's just the "ultra high" setting that isn't supported (1. is this correct?). 2. Is there a different version of most games that are meant for non-Tegra devices or is it the exact game but some of which lack the highest graphics settings? Lastly: 3. Are there any games that S3 owners won't be able to play in the foreseeable future?
I would really appreciate input to any of my questions. Have a good day/night
It runs Mali-400 games and if you decide to Root just install Chainfire 3D and you can run most Tegra and any other games.
Gaming is very good. Thats all i have to say
Sorry i couldnt be of more help.
Have u tried looking on the playstore? With a friends phone or on the web page. Google searched? There is a thread about good ganes in the s3

S3 can play anything but Tegra3 Specific games, there is an app made by Chainfire it's called "Chainfire3D" where it emulates all different graphic chips in the market, so basically you can play all non-tegra and tegra games that aren't Tegra3 specifc as mentioned above. The app needs root in order to work. Dead trigger is the latest game to come out and it plays VERY nice and smooth. Shadowgun tegra2 version works, Pinball THD, Fruit Ninja THD, NBA Jam works nice PES2011, Blood and Glory work pretty well... I'm not much into gaming, those are the games I own, and I can say they are the ones that will hammer the CPU and GPU pretty good. I'm not sure what you mean with "ultra high settings" everything works. remember that the screen size is 1280x800 so some games that are made for smaller screen will have black bars or some cropping or some weird behavior, but I've only seen that on "time killer" games, can't recall which game was that showed this behavior, but still playable.
Hope that straight things out a bit for you.
Chain fire helps with some tegra games but it's not perfect eg sonic 4 ep 2 lags like treacle and some tegra games don't work at all. However the graphics hardware in the gs3 is the fastest in the world for a smartphone so there's a lot of potential. But tbh gaming without hardware buttons is pretty crap anyway.

Thank you all for your replies.
I had already read through the post you mentioned slking1989 but even though it assured me that a lot of quality games are supported it didn't give me a definite answer regarding how to determine beforehand if a game will run or not (like "system requirements" or similar). I'm guessing the reason HQ games doesn't show up in the Play store on my current phone is that it doesn't support themn thus it's no points showing them but since I don't have the phone yet I wanted to do some research.
My choice is between the S3 and the HOX but after your replies the S3 was pushed further ahead in the race (only kept back by the insecurity around Tegra games really). Now I just have to decide which color to get.
This may help u decide

I haven't tried it on my Prime yet, but it looks good on my Samsung Galaxy S3. They probably didn't increase the resolution for the Prime (or any android tablet) once again. We will always play second to Apple when it comes to Gameloft, until game pirating diminishes on Android's end, they are just not willing to put the extra manpower to optimized the game for different android devices.

I wouldnt feel so bad pirating gameloft games if they didnt screw devices over so much. Really, all it takes is a high end version for the big three (tegra, qualcom, and the other one forget the name) for HD devices, another set of reduced graphics for lower end devices, and thats it! Why make a seperate game optimized for each device? I KNOW the tablet version of a game will look good on my prime. Its got the horsepower to play anything you throw at it, even if i have to use chainfire, so why make it so damn difficult for me to play games i know i like? Gameloft is one of the only companies i know of that has problems making games for android, everyone else seems to deal with different devices just fine, making one game version (or sometimes a couple) that work for every device, or sometimes a HD version and a non HD version
No, i have no problem pirating Gameloft games, and if they DO come up with a game that i can buy ONCE and have it work across my multiple high end devices like anything else on the google market then maybe i will change my mind. Until then im not sending them one cent to their online store, especially if its not through google.
Never liked any of gameloft games. Most of their games are just bad clones of other games.

Wtf is wrong with u guys this game is pretty awsome! my only issue is that all game developers aren't including controller compatibility for android which i believe should be a must, as connecting a controller to any android device is the simplest thing ever.

I'm with you on this, and not only gameloft, other companies does that too, shadowgun, fruit ninja, samurai vengeance 2, guerrilla bob, cut the rope and so many other games have a thd version and a regular version, I really hate having to pay twice for the same game just to avoid it seeing awful, I dont really get how dificult could it be to make a game like dead trigger that gets better graphics depending on the hardware

Gameloft even not optimized this game for Tegra 3. Like reflection effect , Motion Blur.
YOU CAN LOOK BETWEEN GALAXY S III (OR OTHER PHONES) AND PRIME , GRAPPHIC MUCH DIFFERENT. YOU CAN'T NOTICED THAT!?
I wait for this game about a month and they even not optimized for our Prime, Like other gameloft games.
If you make some games in Android , you must test your apps on every gpu chips. Why other DEVs can do? You release after iOS for month and you even not fix ANY issues. GAMELOFT sucks.
