[Q] Battery bars are staying the same all the time. - Galaxy S III Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have a Samsung S3 with the [ROM][ICS 4.0.4][XXALF6] Lite'ning ROM v1.0 - Fast as Lightning. Very nice ROM, but the battery indicators are staying the same and the percentage is decreasing. Is this normal or do I have to set a setting. So far I can`t find anyone with this little problem

[Q] battery life with rom

hi,
I was with artic rom on gsm razr, and i had a really poor battery life, 12hour 80% .
Well, i went to stock rom and with "smart action"(not sure about the app name, because i have it in french) i break my record with 2days on battery with soft usage(sms / call / jelly defense / gta III...). I configured it to turn of DATA/WIFI on screen off and night.
So what battery life could you have with different rom and how did you manage to?

[Q] Charging and Multi-tasking, is this a no-no?

hey guys - need an answer to solve my neverending search to this problem
i'm trying to determine the best way to get as much battery power out of my SGSII and i've been experimenting between a SGSII and a Motorola Photon 4G. both phones are running a ICS-AOKP rom, same CPU clock settings, both on "conservative" governor, and both on power save mode..
the only significant difference is with the battery and the kernel, while the photon is running with a stock 1700Mah battery and stock jokersax CM9 kernel while the SGSII had an 2000Mah Extended battery with Siyah 3.0 (with "battery" kernel tweek on)
at the start of the experiment the SGSII had 73% power while the Photon had 48% - i plugged in both phones to the wall and ran a game of order and chaos on both for about an hour and then checked back on the battery power.. the SGSII had drained from 73% to 45% while the the photon 4G had actually charged from 48% to 62%
i've tried a similar experiment with not only AOKP but also CM7, CM9 and MiUi and MiUi V4 and both yield similar results
now my question - if both phones are using the same rom with the same settings practically speaking, with the SGSII being slightly more optimized towards battery performance, why is it that the SGSII's battery will still drain while the photon 4G's battery will still charge?
Wow, i haven't had battery drain like this, give it like 4 battery charges then you'll see whether you still have this problem or not
I can normally get near enough 2 days battery life with medium usage. I'm using the stick battery MIUI GB
wow dude, are u using the stock battery or an extended?
always calibrating ma battery everytime it gets to 100% and it doesnt seem to help much -
Id love if someone else attempted the test by plugging in the phone and having wifi on + run a quick game to see if your results are the same as mine.. the typical response i get from others i've shared my result with is "duh - the battery will drain if ur playing a game while charging, all devices do it" but i have to ask "then why is it that this doesnt happen to the photon 4G?" i remember going on the samsung thread and someone mentioned that the board is set to absorb a charge that is less than how much the Chipset consumes

rainbox rom v8.3

Back on running rainbox v8.3 , why many of you ask.
Love the rainbow collord styled signal(wifi+3g+phone) love the rainbow collord styled toggle's bar and the smoothness.....what i dislike.
The amount of battery use it's big 5% an hour just there on the table doing noting ,15 minutes of 3g at work during brake 20% battery lost.
Just flashed dorimanx kernel v7.45 ,but has any1 more got some suggestions.
And also seem to have that lockscreen wake-up problem ,that everytime i turn the phone of it turnes back on.
I know get an other rom....give me one with the same looks for daily use and i will

Have a look into this guide:

And install BBS to found the cause of your battery drain.

cClock high battery usage - Resurrection Remix 4.4.2 on I9300

Hello All
Need help please. I flashed resurrection Remix 4.4.2 rom to my Galaxy S3 that had stock Android 4.3 JB on it. All functions seem to be working flawlessly after the flash, but only battery usage seems to be a bit high. App using high battery show clock signification portion of the charge. Is this normal? Does clock take that much charge? I have disabled it for now and force stopped it.
Attached is a screenshot of the battery usage by different app. Phone disconnected from charge a 73%. At 18% just around 10 hours.

Problem solved on its own. But still battery consumption looks marginally high. I guess I can live with it thanks to super high speed performance now. On stock samsung stock andriod, gallery used to take 5-6 seconds to open. But it just takes a second or two. Awesome performance

Whats the best rom for samaung s5 g900f runining 51.1. Or 6.0?

Looking for stable rom, best battery life, good for gaming, good sound qualty.
I tried some of the roms below and there cons:
TW revolution 5.3
-battery last longer but if being charge while phone is turned off it will take 7 to 8 hrs to charge. Tried it twice i switched the phone off and charged it. It will take forever to charge. Will notice when charging its not getting hot unlike before with stock its hot when being charge
-sounds are too low, when playing games sounds are very low
-game will crush. In the middle of the game it will just close the app. Tried asphalt and evil defenders same issue
-lte 4g signal is very weak. Not sure if its in my country philippines but with stock i get 3 to 4 bars lte signal. If its only 3g and 2 g it can reach up to 3 to 4 bars.
Maverick s6 v4
-fast and has good sounds but drains battery faster. Im not a heavy user. Battery will drain after being removed from charger when being used. In idle for half a day the battery life is already half
-camera option has grey or unselectable option even hdr is off and selective focus is off
-in short my battery will only last half a day without being charge. .
I only use the phone for playing games 10 to 30 mins. Send messages in hangouts, calls, taking pictures. . Please advise what are your suggested rom that has a good battery life, good performance and a stanbl rom. .
Thank you.
All of them
Whats all of them?
Anyone knows any rom?
Darthrom v2.4 based on s6 edge. is cool and stable running on sm-g900f
Best touchwiz rom is PhoeniX rom. I've tested 8 touchwiz and aosp roms over the last 2 weeks and keep going back to phoenix rom on my g900f. Stable with plenty of features. Also has s6 installations through aroma installer
Hi everyone , have a question ? The Phoenix rom is compatible with the s4 i9506 witch has a snapdragon 800 cpu ?
