Is there an LF6 (official ICS)-based AOKP ROM yet? - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Either from AOKP official or another dev?
I do see at least one LF5 out there but I get random reboots with those ROMs, hoping AOKP based on the official ICS will be more stable.

Okay then, does anyone know if I can use an LF5 AOKP ROM and just flash the latest modem on it? And/or the latest kernel?

Sorry..wrong thread

If i remember correctly, AOKP is AOSP based, so you can use h0tw1r3's kernel [his thread has AOKP listed on it, too] I'm also pretty sure you can flash the latest modem. As for kernel from the official ICS leak, I would say no because that kernel is for TW rom ["stock" rom].

Hey guys, @fitsnugly was kind enough to start building cm9 skankwich builds for the i777. Latest builds can be found HERE
http://fitsnugly.euroskank.com/skankwich/?id=i777
These do not come with gapps so you'll need to download them
Google Addon:

please note this thread will be for discussion of said nightly builds. For development stuff would likely be a good idea to just post in the cm9 dev thread in the i777 development forum.
I'm your huckleberry.....I'll try it.

FYI guys, nightly from 4-5 is running great. No SOD and working video recording are confirmed. May be placebo but scrolling also seems improved.

Virtual Soft Keys

Hey! I've searched for a long time some virtual soft keys (on screen buttons) for Galaxy S2 like Nexus ones for stock odexed ICS ROM. Didn't managed to find any, someone can help? ->

Thank you!
Some ROM's like Resurrection Remix (found in Android Development Section) allow you to have the soft keys on screen. Not sure how well they work as I have never used it. I think it would just take up too much of the screen as we have hardware buttons already, but everyone to their own liking. Or you could sell your GS2 and buy a G Nexus!

You can check this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1364757
Or, flash an AOKP rom, some MIUI roms have it too, ParanoidAndroid(CM9 based)
Well, thank you both of you.
@themadba - Yea, i know i was curious if was something like that for a stock ROM. Just wanted to test it strictly on a stock ROM, i have test them on AOKP ROM. ( and yeah, pretty useless )
@curodot - that doesn't work for stock odexed apps, like framework.

Is there a custom rom 4.2.2 with the original features?

I mean, I do like the stock GSIII rom (despite the dialler), but have tried some custom roms and even the leak version of the GSIII (still many bugs) I found that android 4.2.2 have some improvements such as better and faster face recognition.
Yes, I could maybe Cyanogenmod, but I won't have features like SmartStay or the calling feature when when I put the phone on my ear from a text message window.
So if anyone can help me find a custom room, or the right applications for a custom rom, with the stock features of the GSIII, that would be very very nice.
there are many roms around with the latest Android version, but at the end they are pretty much the same, I just want a rom with the lates android version with the original features of the GSIII.
SO... what you say... Let me know.
Its not yet released out of Beta .
Custom roms all have a description for you to read but you are going to need to wait until the firmware is released .

I've tried uninstalling\reinstalling Hangouts from the Play Store, still does it. Any thoughts?
This is an issue with the Gapps you flashed.
Looks like it was a symptom of PA GApps package. After moving to AOKP 20140109 build and flashing AOKP GApps, this is fixed. Thanks!

Can you link to the AOKP gapps? I haven't heard of those...
Go to http://aokp.co/devices/ and scroll down untill you see them
Obviously you want to get the 4.4.x ones

Buddy you are spamming all the section. Even you dont have proper kernel sources. You need to link the kernel source tree if you have or this thread and all other copies will be invalid.
As already noted, this has already been posted to the Mi 3 forums....thread closed!
