Downloaded GoSMS today and was just customizing it a bit. I noticed the LED colors are all jacked up. I have a tmobile S3. I also can't get my contacts avatars to show either. Hopefully they just need to update the app. In the mean time I made a little legend as far as what my phone shows.
Blue = Red
Green = Purple
Red = Green
Yellow = Blue
Magenta = Green
Cyan = Purple
Helpful little guide! Thanks!
Correct, that's why FLOW isn't working yet either.
Subscribed, thanks!
Also noticed that they don't come up when testing the notification in the settings. But I did notice that mine comes up Purple when I set it to Green. I like Purple the best as it is the most unique.
When you test it, you have to turn the screen off manually, then the led will show up.

Download light flow from market. I've tested it out and it works great. I've counted about 10 colors our led can do with slight variations of each. Blue, cyan, purple, pink, red, green, yellow, orange, white, gold, and a few others.

I was able to get the LED colors to work at first, then they decided to stop and start showing just green. Haven't rebooted to see if that fixes it, but it looks promising. BerryBuzz was one of the only apps I missed from my BB days. Haha.
Yeah I reluctantly chose to let this atrix replace my n1 and absolutely hated not having my colors. Now if we can only get individual people's text colors back we are in business

works well here.
does this draw more battery than the standard *always* green notification light?
i download currentwidget but it dont work so i dunno
i wish there's an app that will allow capture of notifications too. so we can assign lights to different apps simliar to how we can do it back on cyanogen roms.
meh, its not constant. seemed to be working at first, but now it only showing system default LED color settings for everything. then, yesterday it decided to work for the color i set for text messages received, was blinking a sky blue color. but even after i cleared the notification and looked at the message.....the dumb light was still blinking. i like the different color but i dont see the point if its not consistent
I see various colors on mine. So far I've seen green, blue, purple, and red.
It's a good start. I haven't had any issues, the blink rate isn't always 100% consistent but it works for me for now. I haven't noticed any extra battery drain for using this.
easiest way to get colors on your led for texts is to download chomp sms or handcent sms. you can long press any contact's conversation and change the LED for that person from that point on. 100% works all the time for me and chompsms.
if you want to change gmail led from the default green you can do that with an app called gmail notifier. just be sure to disable notifications of the actual Gmail app or else you'll duplicates. same goes for replacing messaging app for chomp or handcent
it would be sweet if the notification color would flash multiple colors, kinda like a bb trackball

This app allows that. It flashes them in succession. Ex, R=email Bl=missed call Gr=txt. so if I had a txt and an email it would flash in succession gr, r, gr, r, etc.
Just discovered that with GoSMS Pro you can change the color of the LED for notifications...didn't know Atrix had multicolor LED other than standard red green yellow...I got blue...haven't tried any other colors yet but Im sure they work

Is it only for that app or can you get the colors changed for regular notifications?
I was going to try the app I used for my old n1 to change the led notification settings...ill report back
Edit: Confirmed Light Flow works...limited color changes...blue and orange tested going to test more

I currently use Red/Green/Orange/Blue/Purple. When using Light Flow when it tries to do some of the colors, it comes out looking like a rainbow...so I guess that counts as another color?
Yeah same here I got purple,white,pink,red,blue working

I haven't tested/compared with Light Flow, but blink is another option and is what I use. Allows you to select color and frequency of flashing for a few things... I think you can choose for email, text, battery and missed call settings. I'll take a look at Light Flow later, when I get a chance.

Did white actually look white for you?
On mine, white looked like a rainbow color.
Yeah mine was white the first blink then after that it was rainbow lol

got a copy?
I was wondering if anybody could make a theme to make the system feel like mirrors edge (red and white).
I'd like the status bar white, icons to be red, wifi and Bluetooth switches red when turned on, a soft blue when turned off, same with buttons around the system, and a white and red theme all around the system. The kind of red I want is the in the wifi switch in the screenshot.
I feel inconsiderate for making a request like that, sorry

does anyone else have a pinkish facebook led notification?
at first it used to be red, but now it's pink, but you can still see a bit of blue underneath it.
any way i can change it to blue like the rest of my notifications?
thanks
btw, nothing is wrong with the led itself (i think). charging still shows red/green when full, and blue for texts/emails/other notifications
bump .

Grab Light Flow from the market.
Market link: Here
I use Lightflow for controlling the LED colors for my notifications. In the past, when orange was chosen as the LED color, it was displayed as yellow. I just noticed that, after installing the MHC19I release, the orange color is actually displayed by the notification LED. A pleasant surprise!
Yup, I use light manager pro and immediately noticed I can now have orange instead of a burnt yellow color!
I use Light manager pro too, and the blue is also more vibrant.
Just flashed latest 19I today and noticed that led is correctly showing colors that are set in xled for xposed
