Hello!
I installed Munjeni's special hboot partition (to increase usable space) and wanted to update the phone back to stock (to take back to att).
The RUU utility failed with code of 152.
The partition failed.
Now the phone is "stuck" at the black HTC screen with four warning triangles in each corner.
Any ideas?
I am s-on, hboot 1.02.

Hi I have a EVO3d, got from a friend
Its goes in HBOOT, with HBOOT version, 1.40,
It doesnt have android loaded, nor it has any other recovery loaded except what it had original,
Any Idea how can I load custom rom in it?
I can access hboot, fastboot, (recovery keeps on restarting)

NO S-OFF, stuck at white screen
My andriod doesnt boot, my phone is also not rooted, i.e S-ON. any way I can root and install a custom rom
Your phone does not need to be rooted to use a RUU or PG86IMG.zip that is signed by HTC.

I installed the RUU, the latest one, then too its not booting and stuck at white screen "HTC" on it.
Is there any other way?
Alright, I was running Olympus XE with Bcblend 003 on hboot 1.30 and I tried unrooting using this manual.

Everything updates but system. System comes up fail in red. Everything goes through and updates after that and it says image not installed press power to reboot. I reboot and now I'm stuck on HTC screen. What do I have to flash?
Alright scratch that. I reloaded TWRP through bootloader and flashed a stock rooted sprint rom. I have dust underneath my screen. A large amount at the top. I have to take it in to get a new one so whats the best way to unroot and return to stock?! I'm having trouble with all the moethods...

I was using desensified rom but wanted to roll back to gingerbread
So I have followed the thread "downgrade to GB" by downloading and isntalling the RUU (while tablet running). Process went well but at restart the tablet hold on white screen with green htc logo
Tried several times to re-run the RUU in fastboot mode but I dont have enough battery. I have seen post saying that my hboot and recovery are incompatible and so the battery cannot charge.
When I have going into recovery, I saw (quickly) messages saying that PG41DIAG or PG41IMG.zip or nbh are missing or wrong file.
I tried to flash boot.img, recovery.img (the one from desensified), cwm.img... but nothing seems to happen on the tablet and back with revolutionary recovery.
When I select "£recovery" from revolutionary menu the tablet goes back to white screen with gree logo so I cannot flash anything from teh SD card.
On the recovery screen I have:
FLYER PVT SHIP S-OFF RL
HBOOT 6.11.1111
MICROP 0850
Radio 3809.05.0401.04 (Although I used the RUU 405 based on my CID, still showing 405 when I am doing getvar CID but I am not sure that this 401 is linked to CID)
Can anybody help me? I guess I need to install a proper hboot / recovery in order to flash for SDcard or through fastboot.

wifi only or 3g unit?
you can not just run a gb ruu when you are s off on hc.
your fix is not hard though. tell me the type of flyer

Thaks, it is the 3G.
After my post, I have succeeded to have the flyer charging (orange light is turn on). i will wait over night and then action tomorrow.
However I am interested to know what is the best way to do it based on what I have today hboot / recovery / S-off.

I am now on Android 2.3.4
but stil have missing or wrong image withPG41IMG at hboot
I would like to do a clean full install: hboot / recovery and android.
What version shall I use?
When I am trying to install cwm.img in fastboot I have an error message: "remote: signature verify fail"

Hi Xda Community,
I was having an issue with hboot where it would lead to a screen with a phone image and a red triangle caution whenever i tried to enter recovery.
Since that issue I have used hansoon2000's all in one vivid toolkit to unlock the boot loader and flash TWRP 2.4 on my phone.
Now using Twrp i am able to use recovery etc. I then attempted to continue using hansoon2000's all in one vivid toolkit to flash my Stock Velocity RUU back
onto my phone. I relocked the phone prior and attempted the flash which appeared to be working and then resulted in the following error:
(remote: 90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediately)
I am not sure what i am doing wrong, but i have a feeling the error is related to my hboot issue. I would just like to flash my Stock Telstra 4g velocity RUU
back onto my phone. Does anyone know how i can go about doing this?
My Goals (simplified):
- Make HBOOT fully functional again / or recover it.
- Help to Flash my Stock RUU back onto my phone.
- Reset and make phone as if were stock, without these issues.
Any help or advice would be absolutely amazing as this has been bothering me for days, and I have a partially unusable phone.

I tried to S off my HTC amaze 4g GB 2.3.4 HBoot 1.92, i failed and disconnected the phone without the still sober warning appeearing. I used JuopunutBear S-OFF. Now after that the phone is not able to boot and goes into JuopunutBear download mode with green arrow. I have an unbranded Amaze with asian firmware. I just wanted to ask if i flash the Stock RUU will it solve the problem. moreover how to flash the zip file.
Now when i connect the fone to control bear it gives errors and shuts itself down. I cant continue the S off process. Help needed

flash the ruu Amaze Asia Ruu download link or flash 4ext and a gb rom then you'll have a working device guide
