So GoSms has an update today, and to get Facebook avatars to sync, one has to pay $4.99 for 180 days of service. I'm curious as to what you all think about that? If you've paid, does it actually work?

1. That is a ripoff. Shame on GoSMS.
2. I have no idea. I'm not paying for that.

Lol @ anyone who does this.
So does the Facebook photo unlocker not work anymore?

All of my pay apps are showing up in my apps section while not installed but when I go to install them they ask me to pay for them again ?

1. Have you signed in the market with the same gmail account that you purchased the apps with? I have two gmail accounts, and if I am not logged into the proper account it will show that the apps are not available to me.
2. Are these apps from Amazon? If you purchase from Amazon they won't update in the regular android market.
Yea I only have one gmail
And no they are android market purchased apps

When you log into the market.android.com web site from a computer, does it show these paid apps under the same gmail account you're device is using?
If so, and you're not able to view them on the device, maybe worth clearing out the cache/data for the Market and having it resync.
If that still doesn't work, I'd file a complaint with the Market Support team.
They can take up quite a few days to respond so the sooner to file the complaint, sooner to receive assistance!
Hope that helps!
Thanks guys I gave you guys both one .
However the issue seems to have resolved itself perhaps a Google market server issue ? But about an hour ago it fixed itself

Can someone tell me where I can get an app for sending sms messages in groups (more than 10 contacts at a time). The note only has a limit of 10. Please help!

Try groupme app, I use it daily. Think of it like a chatroom with all your "selected" friends. I use it to text all my flag football friends to talk smack. Plus it is free...

I'm using go sms pro and have not found a workaround for syncing my contact pictures. Have tried syncmypix and Facebook contact sync. Neither have worked. I have sent messages to the developer as well. Anyone having any luck?

I just set peoples phots via google contacts. Everytime you get a new phone your images from google are imported. Gosms just pulls those images from your contacts. Root not required.

Thank you, I will try that.

Tried that, but that didn't work. Any other options?

We all know that Google got rid of the prepaid card. How do I get it back with the $10? I still have mine, but somehow my wife's disappeared. The option for her prepaid card isn't even there.
Thanks to whoever knows.

You can only request a refund, log into your account and see if the promotion is redeemable
Yeah, go to Help in the app and call money network, they'll mail it to you.

I thought you could request a refund online by now
Thanks for the feedback.

I don't think you can with stock. I'd use a decent third party like maildroid. Then you can have your entire account showing.

Hmm ok thanks for that. I must admit I'm 1 of those people who likes using stock apps because I don't like most ui's of 3rd party apps. But I have had to change the music app I am using recently and playerpro is very good so far so I'll check it out. Thanks

There are a few good ones worth checking:
Touchdown
Enhanced email
Maildroid
K-9
... To name a few. Most have free trials. They're way better than stock!
