Try this:
1. Delete maps from titanium.
2. Download maps from play store.
3. Delete manually maps (not from titanium).
4. Rename the apk file to:
- Maps.apk (if you're on GB).
- GMS_Maps.apk (if you're on ICS).
5. Copy the apk to system folder and give the permission rw-r-r.
6. Finally move it to system/app.
7. Wait for few seconds and maps will appear in your app drawer.

10 post failed attempt? may be try off topic thread...
also few of these apps can't b ued on gb or ics or jb...they wont install or wont work properly..
I have successfully installed and run Gmail 4.2 on my SGP 5.0 Korean version.
Here is some information on the new features of Gmail 4.2.
http://www.droid-life.com/2012/10/1...ally-making-its-way-to-gmail-for-android-4-2/
EDIT:
I have attached the Gmail 4.2 apk, as well as some screenshots, to this thread. One of the screenshots pictures the new swipe-to-archive/delete feature and the other screenshot pictures the pinch-to-zoom future. Please, note that the instructions I provided below worked for me, but may not work for all.
What I did to install:
1. Use Titanium to back up Gmail 4.1.x
2. Uninstall Gmail 4.1.x
3. Move Gmail 4.2 APK to /system/app/
4. Reboot
5. Navigate to /system/app/
6. Click Gmail 4.2.apk and choose to install
I had success on the first attempt.
Also, please note that installing this app may (probably will) cut Gmail's association to the Play Store, thus the Play Store will not update this app for you. When the official Google release of Gmail 4.2 does release, you will have to uninstall the app and reinstall via the Play Store.

Only because I feel I have exhausted every option do I ask for someones help,I have done all I can think to do.
My Google Now (version 2.7) all of a sudden started FC.I asked for advice in a thread and I was advised to use System App Remover to remove Google Now and reboot,I did and now I am having issues getting anything but an inverted 2.6 Google Now using Team Blackout Updater to install.I have asked around and was told to look for system/app/velvet.apk and remove it but, even that doesn't work.I feel like there is a folder that has been deleted somehow? When I go through the steps to sign in to Google Now and when I get to "Yes,I am in" part it goes to load my cards and FC.
Please,any help appreciated.
Would I have to Odin back to stock to get my apparently missing Google Now files?
Running Hyperdrive RLS9 currently but,I have tried going to TW Eclipse,GE Eclipse, another GE ROM,BonesStock and nothing works to help me fix my issue.
Thanks.

Not sure I can answer it all... but here is the steps...
1. Using any file explorer remove(delete) Velvet.apk and/or QuickSearchBox.apk If for some reason you have both you will get FC's.
2. Reboot to recovery
3. Wipe Cache and then Wipe Dalvik
4. Reboot
5. Flash Inverted or One from Market
6. Test...
7. If still bad, repeat Steps 1-4
8. Using File Explorer go into Data/Data and search for any refreance to quicksearchbox (woudl be a folder) delete.. You might find referances under data/app-asec or data/app-private depending on version of Android running.
9. Repeat steps 1-5
Try flashing someone else's GNow.. I have one here...

Cool... yea use root explorer to delete...
I forgot, this is where I run into another problem that stops me from going forward.
After deleting quicksearchbox.apk, wiping and re-installing using Play store, failing, then going to look for velevet.apk or quicksearchbox.apk again in system/app neither are there! Even though I installed it through Play, there are no references to quicksearchbox or velvet.apk at all anymore in system/app.Only the Google Search widget and I know that isn't it.I did manage to find the folder and deleted it in data/data and that was the only reference found in a search.
Any ideas how to move forward from here?

If you install from Play Store, there will not be a apk named Velvet.apk or QuickSearchBox.apk.. that is a name commonly used by Dev(ROM's/Themers). You apk would be located in data/com.google.android.quicksearchbox-1.apk would be the name... if this is the case.. go to my link and flash mine. It takes care of removeing it and placing Velevet.apk on your system...
try that.
Ugh,lol
This is so stupid!
I went ahead and installed your full inverted zip, tried to get in the app,FC again, managed to find the velvet.apk this time, deleted, searched for and found quucksearchbox folder and deleted again.Rebooted into recovery, wiped, rebooted, rebooted back into recovery flashed your full inverted zip, rebooted, opened the app, clicked Yes,I'm in and FC!

Just
Google Now 2.7.9 v1 Velvet Edition
Google Now 2.7.9 v1 QuickSearchBox Edition
** Google Now 2.7.9 v1 Velvet Edition - FULL APK Flashable!!!
Are you talking about the velvet edition?

Thanks,Gunthermic.
I'll give that a shot in a bit.
I have never used a logcat.
Will CatLog work?
I just run it before I get a FC and save it and upload to here, right?

Don't ask me how but,I have a inverted 2.7 working right now,lol.
I have no clue how it happened either,I installed a 2.6 apk,got it to load, rebooted my phone for a different reason and the Play store updated Google Now to 2.7,but it's inverted!
How?
Did you ever have a chance to look at that logcat?
I'm still having problems!
[Q: SOLVED]
Hello, im currently running the daily Unofficial 4.4.2 and since 12/12 i have had this strange issue with the launcher when running 240 dpi, one icon in the dock is dissapearing when restarting or killing Google search, is this a common problem or is it just for me? i have tried to do a clean install but with no luck, any ideas why this app doesn't save the state? Thanks
[ISSUE:]
The issue was Google Search V3.1.24, an updated version that i have no clue what differs to 3.1.8.
[(OLD) FIX:]
1. Rename Google Search V3.1.24 = Velvet.apk from /System/Priv-app/Velvet.apk
2. Renamed to Velvet.apk.old, download Google Search V3.1.8 from here: [LINK] and rename it to Velvet.apk copied to /System/Priv-app/
3. Open Play Store and search for Google Search and untick "Auto-update"
4. Reboot twice so that play store would find it the old Velvet.apk,
5. DO NOT UPDATE Google Search WHEN PROMPTED!
You'r done, the dock should now be saving as supposed.
So, the issue is back... any one have a solution to this problem without changing launcher? maybe a modified GEL that actually works with 7 dock icons?
