If it's not in the keyboard settings then it's not possible. Maybe some third party keyboard can change the color though
Thanx for the reply mate. Im just not keen on the dark colours in keyboard & messages. Prefer light background & dark keys

there's many keyboards available on the playstore (with different available themes) - SwiftKey and Smart keyboard are the best two (in my opinion)

I use swiftkey 3 which is good and worth the price and you can test it one month for free. It also has a color theme which has light background and black keys (keys white, letters in the keys black).
I use that but I'd rather had some green color keyboard The best keyboard would be if you can set the color of the keys and color of letters on your own + change the layout for every single key maximum customization and preditions like swiftkey 3 ...
Thanx for the replies guys is there anyway i can change the colour in the message app?... horrible colour, whst was samsung thinking??

When you are in the messages app you should be able to bring up a menu which has different bubble/backgrounds.

Hi and thanks for the reply ^^
Yeah, I've looked through these settings, but for me the batterybar color f.ex always stays blue, no matter what color is set. Navigation keys are no problem, but everything concerning notifications and statusbar won't change.
Everything else works like a charm, this ROM is lovely

So I can't find any info about changing the color of the soft keys. Is it possible? Has anyone tried?

Yep. You can buy a new digitizer that is white if you want to. You could probably use a sharper to make them any color you want.
They should use RGB LEDs so we can change color with a widget.

FWIW...I ordered a new digitizer off eBay and purposely chose one with white soft keys. When it came in the mail it was exactly like stock...red buttons.

Is there any way to choose every light of the 3 light ilumination bar seperately?
Like the Boot Animation from KA XperiaSSpeedKernel..
sorry for my bad english
Thanks for answers
I'm also interested in this. Is there some kind of mod or app that can help change, mix or switch off led below capacitive buttons?

Yes there is
You can edit /sys/class/less
Three is 3 separate folder for each side of all 3 colors
Leave lcd folder
And in all rest just change the values of brightness file, and the values should be different for each color. The like ;
45 green
69 red
100 blue
Different colors depends on the brightness values
-ROOT NEEDED-
report back after try
Ps; use can also have the less blink for u by just editing and change changing 0 to 1 in file USE_PATTERN

Had anybody else noticed that black /dark wallpapers don't work well with the ripple effect on lockscreen of our note 2.
Whereas the ripple effect on other phones like s3 or note1 does not blurr the black wallpapers.
Is there a way to fix this?

I've noticed that aswell, it's like the background has a filter over it by default.
Exactly... But the s3 and note 1 don't have that!
It would be great if someone could change the transparency

I've been looking in some files, but i couldn't find an image which looks like that filter over it.
This is one that has been irking me as well.

Has anyone came across away to change the colors or to customize the sms bubbles on stock app? If so please send me in the right dirrection. If not is there a simple way of doing this or one of the great minds here can make a aroma were we can select packages to change out colors or styles of these bubbles?

If you're referring to the bubbles on the individual conversations, yes, you can do this in the settings of the stock messaging app.

I am referring to the bubbles but i was thinking of modding the colors of them like a dark red with black lettering or something of that sort. to bring more customization to the phone without sacrificing the features I use in the stock sms for a 3rd party.
Bump. Where are the files at so we can mod them?
