They're even cheaper online, it's a used device. If you wanted to be a good guy, i'd say like 175-ish? If it's beaten to hell 125-150.
eBay completions seem to sit right at $200 lately.

I work for a ROM Team, LiquidSMOOTH, and one of our developers (hiemanshu) is looking to get a Touchpad to help bring it another AWESOME ROM! But he is a little short on cash. I found this listing for a TouchPad in India http://bangalore.craigslist.co.in/sys/3410712948.html, which is approx $200 USD. I don't think that is too hard to save up, so why don't we try and get this for him!
Any donation counts, nothing is too small!
So, if you're wanting to donate to this cause, post below with what you pledge. Be prepared to pay what you say you will. Once we reach $250 USD (to have some wiggle room in the price if it changes, I would like to reach around $400, as that is the normal market price in India for a Touchpad), I will post his PayPal link so you all can send him what you pledged! I will update this post with the pledges, and with the grand total at the end
Please be prepared to send him what you pledge, don't post and then leave.
Here is a link to our current Touchpad thread, we are currently not able to get RC8 running on the Touchpad, while it runs on all other devices we support. Your pledges, and in turn donations, will help hiemanshu get a Touchpad and bring RC8 and further to it!

Shipping costs around that. I had a friend in the states that was selling one, and shipping alone is about $200 for it.. Sadly

I actually have a Brand New Unused HP Touchpad just sitting here, if the pledge picks up that much money, Instead of buying it outside of canada just pledge $200 and it wont take more than $20 shipping from Canada to almost anywhere.

The "$20" shipping takes a month to reach and a has lot of chances of package getting lost. FedEx/DHL/UPS take 3 days on the other hand. Trying to get one local if I can.

Doesn't matter to me. I'll donate mine, as long as shipping is covered. You guys are welcome to pick whichever shipping service you like. The only things I insist on are insurance and signature confirmation to confirm the delivery. This way it doesn't just get left on the doorstep or something like that.

Secondly trying to find someone with a FedEx account or something so we can get it shipped for real cheap about the same price as USPS but 3 days shipping instead of the 3-4 weeks USPS takes to get here. (Its not usps, it the local post offices being bad at handling stuff)

I know there is already an Indian users LG G2 thread. But, Prospective buyers who are yet to buy the mobile will be more interested in the price and other freebies (to snatch the best deal) and poeple who have already bought the mobile might not need it so much.
