Verzon razr on Straight talk ? gms to cdma - Motorola Droid RAZR

OK so im new to all this posting stuff. But I have been searching for weeks to get some information. I have a verizon motorola razr that is just sitting around not being used. Is it possible to buy a sim from straight talk and use it on the razr? I know that its a cdma phone but I also read that u can switch it to gsm or whatever. Is this possible and if so how? are their steps that can help me? thanks for any help.

[Q] Droid X2 on US Cellular?

I have a chance to buy a Verizon Droid X2 at a great price. If I unlock the phone will I be able to use it on US Cellular prepaid? I searched and couldn't find an answer to this question, I don't want to buy the phone if there is no chance it will work. (I'm in very rural area and US Cellular is my only option for getting a signal at home)
Thanks in advance for the help!
You would have to have a phone dx2 or maybe a mx2 that works on uscel of your account then use qpst to backup service programming and more see my post about qpst but it still may fail.
Wait.
Does uscel sell a dx2 or mx2?

I think they may sell the MX2, but i doubt the DX2.
nvm US Cellular doesn't sell the MX2. The only Motorola phone they have is the Electrify which is the brother of the Photon, so I believe unlocked bootloader.
I realize that USC doesn't sell the Droid X2, but it's a cdma phone and should be capable of operating on US Cellular. I was just wanting to know if it would work if I unlocked and rooted the phone. I'm just not sure if USC would activate an unlocked phone that didn't originally come from USC.
I guess a simpler way to ask would be, "can a Verizon phone be unlocked and activated on USC since they are both CDMA"?
Its been done on a few networks that i know of, have health of success on both altell and cricket with a dx2 both networks are cdma, but there were lots of problems getting em working

from what i understand and only american users can correct me on this is that the version xt912 offered by verizon is blocked to work on any other carriers in the US. this i have heard and read over and over again but still can be wrong. you should try to buy a xt910 and it should work on any carrier in US as long as the radios and bands match.
the xt 912 will only work on verizon. because verizon blocks it i guess.
i would suggest also going to droidrzr.com they have awesome support for xt912 OG and MAXX version and live chat support as well.
good luck

Questions about the DNA and Pageplus

Hello everyone, long time lurker but first time poster.
Coming from the Droid X2 and pageplus, I'd like to upgrade my phone to the DNA, but I'm a bit confused as to how 4G phones work on Pageplus.
Now, I did search around the forums (as well as Howards) and wasn't able to find a definite answer to my question.
1) Does the DNA work with Pageplus?
2)People mention having to flash a phone that is 4G in order for it to work, but can I configure the setting at home?
I found a helpful guide on helpdesk.houdini, is this it?
3) Are LTE cards registered to any person or device? I simply need a "blank" one to use the phone on pageplus right?
4) From my understanding, the phone is universal (GSM and CDMA) is there different verizon #'s I should know about?
Thanks for your help everyone, can wait to get this baby and run benchmarks!
