Just chahged my usb flex from the original one the 2nd time. 1st was faulty. It charges fine but get no speaker audio and also the microphone isn't working. Switched back to the original one and it all works except from the over voltage etc. Does this mean I have yet again got a faulty part?
Probably.....or the wrong one

Well, it's the same board. rev2.2 they look identical.
Thats what my spare one says
Rbb1
Revision 2.2
Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk 2
Yes I have the same, it's the same revision as the one which came with the phone. It's strange both replacements don't work and give separate issues

I did.. The new housing looks like original so doubt it they can see any difference

Any modifications carried out by non-Samsung authorised repair people (or anyone else for that matter) voids your warranty.
Basically you're asking a question only Samsung can answer. Soooo...You're going to have to roll the dice & send it in for warranty service & see what happens. Or have it repaired by someone other than Samsung.
Being a betting man, I'd say you'll be paying for the repairs either way.

They would have to be blind or dump not to see any difference since the original handsets have a label (battery space) with fone details on it....
But if you explain to them its better you pay Sammy to fix your fone then paying out for a brand new one...
That sticker is on the new one took it off the old one and put on the new.. Its a guinine cover

At the end of the day, you're not going to find the answer to your question by posting on here.
You're only going to find out by asking Samsung to fix your phone....Soooo....How bout you do exactly that & let us know how you go ?
Ok if they wont repair il by a new screen on ebay for 120e and do it
Sent from my R800i using XDA Premium App

Hi my s3 isnt charging properly, when im charging my phone it takes about 10 minutes to go up 1% i bought a new charger and a new battery and still the same problem. Btw i have cyanogenmod 10 as my rom. But ive been using it for months now and untill about 2 weeks ago this issue started to happen. Please help.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
what about charging it when it's off?
Yeah i tried that as well. It charges faster of course but still veeery slow.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
Then take it to the service
There's nothing i can do then?
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda premium
First remove rom and test as custom rom or root voids warranty anyway.

So I was trying to restore my phone to stock from the N4 conversion. I was a bonehead and accidentally restored the wrong partition image and then my phone was toast. Thanks to mobiletechvideos.com, I am writing this message from my phone.
Thanks guys, I really appreciate your work and would recommend them to anyone.
That being said, I'm planning on building my own JTAG very soon.

What was your turn around from when they received your device? And if you don't mind, what part of the country are you from?

Georgia.
They received it on Wednesday and I had it back in 7 days. I did pay for rush processing and expedited shipping. So $95 when it was all said and done.
JTAG http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joint_Test_Action_Group
It's a low level way to interact with the phone when the primary os is not installed or borked like mine. My solder fu is not that strong yet, so I didn't want to attempt to figure it out myself.

Then the vibrator motor is probably connected loosely. Might wanna mention that to the guy in case it quits working.

I'll fix this post in the "morning."
I have had two experiences with Mobiletechvideos and my Samsung Galaxy S3.
Bricked it in January -- sent it off and it was back to me in under a week. Worked like a charm until,,,,,
Two weeks ago I was flashing a custom rom when the battery died. My fault.... sucker was dead, dead. Sent it back to Mobiletechvideo on a Thursday (overnight mail). It was back in my hands the following Saturday. Working just like new again.
These guys are great - I appreciated that they communicated with me through the process.
