I have a Vibrant that has a KB5 modem, Glitch 1.3.1 Kernel, and CM-7 (2.3.7) stable. After a fresh install of CM7, my bluetooth won't pair (or find for that matter) any devices. I have checked with another phone and the paired to devices work fine. Everything else works great. Good mobile data , wifi, and phone reception. Just the bluetooth doesn't seem to be picking up anything. It is possible I might have restored something from another rom accidentally, but I froze what I thought might be an issue as well as was very careful (or at least I thought I was) on the restores. I also forgot to wipe cache before the install. Any ideas?
Thanks,
Dave
I'm not familiar with cm7 stable release but I would first start by doing a full wipe clean flash.

Did a full wipe, and cache clean, reinstall of cm7 and back to the kernel that comes with cm7 and the problem still exists.

I don't know what i have done wrong. I have a vibrant with team whiskeys nero v3 ROM. I ran a back up so that i could flash the bionix-v ROM, and now my phone will barely work. It is extremely laggy and freezes constantly. Any fixes?
Personally I would odin back to stock and start all over again with a fresh system

Wipe cache. Factory reset. Alwaus wipe when you flash. Dont install old rom data with new roms.
Use appmonster or something to backup apps.
Quicker install than market.
Remember its not just easier but its better to start new.
Load each app again. Try not to mess with data.

Start by getting Samsung GPS Restore from the market ,run it, and see if that helps. If not flash this GPS fix (make sure in recovery to wipe catche and wipe dalvik then flash the fix) http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=546490&d=1300545407 then perform the Samsung Restore again after it boots up . If not then read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=878970 . Best of luck homie
I was running Bionix Next Gen 2 for a while and my GPS was actually working really well. I always flash the S.gps anytime I use a Froyo Rom. Give it a try.

I'm already running CM9 (awesome club release), which is great. I'm looking to update to the latest build 1.1.2.
Is it sufficient to wipe dalvik and then install the new zip? I could obviously wipe data as well but I'd rather not if I didn't have to.

Joker says you don't have to. It won't hurt though. After you reboot, I would power off, boot into recovery, and fix permissions. Doing that seems to correct the minor bugs that may arise.

Anyone here that is on Team Perfections ICS Rom appdroid just released R2 update today which I flashed as I know many people probably did, everything seems to be fine except I have no camera anymore? when you go to your camera its just a black screen trying to see if anyone else has had this that is on this new build or not? Thanks
Nope its working good for me. Maybe wipe cache and see if that helps?

Well I figured I would try Hyfr ICS ROM from SGS3. Camera is working on it. I am a little more pro Objection just because that has been my fav rom but at this point I was just so happy to be finally running SVOICE and its working beautifully!
Will most likely switch back. I will try what you said although I ALWAYS WIPE Dalvick before ANY flash......are you talking about this cache or just the cache partition itself? Just wondering...
S-voice is working for me on RC2. I always wipe cache partition then Dalvik cache after. I do that three times in that order then flash. After I flash I fix permissions before I reboot and ive never had any problems. Hope that helps!!!

OK Thanks for the help, I tried out OnlyOne rom for a few hours and knew it was time to come back to my Objection Rom. Doing as you said now will let you know how it goes.
Thanks
Edit: Last post I said I went back to Objections ICS rom I actually had more issues with it, dialer didnt work would FC everytime I wiped clean and cleared all caches re flashed it several times was so annoyed. Not appdroid's fault hes doing a great job plenty of people are using that R2 release without issues I just couldnt on my device. But I tried OnlyOne rom one more time and it works FLAWLESSLY now. Couldnt be happier!!
Did you use the darkside wipe or manually? I found that the darkside tool causes problems for a lot of people so I just went back to manual wipe

Hello I have a question about updating the cm10 nightlies. I read somewhere that to update to the newest cm10 nightly you just wipe cache and dalvik. However I tried that and my signal bars and WiFi bars don't turn blue anymore. They stay grey, which I believe means that its broken correct? Has anyone successfully updated cm10 nightly by just wiping cache and dalvik and not have data broken? Thank you

It depends really, the CM10 nightlies recently (late September-ish) went through a major partition layout change, so simply wiping cache and davlik would NOT be good enough, and it requires a full wipe. If you've been on recent nightlies with the new partition layout, then it shouldn't have done that... and I've updated nightlies quite a bit that way with no problems. I suggest backing up your apps and doing a clean wipe to the latest nightly.
I am currently running the 20121022 nightly by the way. which i believe has the new partition layout.
Yeah something probably went wrong during the flash, either try wiping cache and davlik again or just backup your apps and do a clean wipe. I wish I could help further, but I've been on AOKP lately so I'm not sure if it's a problem with the rom itself...
Hmmm strange. My market app would not work after updating. It said app not installed every time i pressed the market. So I reflashed gapps in cwm and all is well now. Thanks for your input though!
