I just installed a ROM which is JellyVanilla 1 rev 2 on my Mango.
Everything seems pretty good until I realize that my keyboard onscreen won't come up.
I have follow the step :
1. Flash kernel for your device (Mini, MiniPro, Active, LWW)
2. Enter CWM
3. Wipe data / factory reset (not so necessary if CM10 is currently installed on your system)
4. Wipe cache & dalvik-cache
5. Flash JellyVanilla 1 rev2
6. Flash yourdevice_dev_files.zip (Mini, MiniPro, Active, LWW)
7. Flash GAPPS (optional)
then reboot.
The problem is the keyboard on screen won't come up. The hard keyboard work pretty well but when I slide the hard keyboard the screen doesn't automatically rotate like before/usual.
Everything else except those keyboard problems went pretty good.
Anyone can help me? I'm thinking on flashing some part of FXP CM10 source but I don't which part is exactly for those keyboard problems.
Thx before..
On the keyboard settings menu in the status bar..turn off the hardware keyboard..that did it for me.
How's the in call volume for you?

Have you tried doing a factory data reset from recovery mode? Couldn't hurt to delete cache partitions as well.

Sorry but I have to ask, are you sure your running a Samsung vibrant ROM? I have heard people talk about having button problems but that's usually when they flash a ROM meant for the samsung i9000. If you are positive your running a Vibrant ROM then look in the thread for your ROM and look for a button fix, usually in the .zip format. If your ROM was ported over from a different phone then there would be a button fix somewhere, if you can't fix it then use this app until we figure out your problem

If you flashed back to stock and it still didn't work, it is a hardware problem. Try (after flashing to stock) take it back to the T-Mobile store.
Hi guys,
I've tried flashing CM10 (fxp 134 and fxp 135), but after I give the command to reboot in the terminal, my phone just shows the fxp logo. Doesn't go in CWM recovery when I'm pushing te volume button. Anybody any idea why this is? Flashing CM9 works just fine.
Xperia neo, use the back key not volume down for recovery. What kernel are you using?

I've always used the volume down for recovery, always worked. The wiki also says it's the volume down button. http://wiki.cyanogenmod.com/wiki/Sony_Ericsson_Xperia_Neo:_Full_Update_Guide
I just use the kernel from the package with the ROM.
I always use back key on neo, I use volume down in ray. Try using the back key and let me know the result

Did you flash kernel for cm10?
Used the back key, and at first it didn't work (rebooting from computer), phone shut down again.
But then I put it back on and tried again, and it works, thanks guys!
Yeah, I flashed the kernel
However, I've got some problems with wifi now, which shouldn't be, I read in developers forum that wifi should work.
Also, CWM was kind of unstable. Screen went from left to right when I was navigating the menu.

That is a known UI bug for the recovery, it still works.
As for wifi, do a fresh install.
Flash rom
Flash gapps
factory reset clear cache etc
flash kernel
reboot

Did that, didn't help. There were a few other bugs too I didn't come across in the developers section (but I can't post there), for example google now was not working very well.
Flashed back to CM9 for now, but I will try again when the fxp136 is released
I liked JB a lot though.
Hey guys, i am using cm9 for some time now. Well, to the point, the wifi is not working. It is after a clean flash and wipe, but after a few days it wont connect to any access point "due to low signal". For example, when i tap my home wifi, at full strength by the way, it immediately shows only one bar, and then disconnects and trying to connect again. Anybody know what to do? Thanks!

Finally got time to do this. So, let's do this!
EDIT: Did the steps exactly as you have writen, will see if it works.
This is very popular mod for Android devices and its mostly used for music lovers. This mod enables you to have 30 volume levels instead of the 15 (default) levels. I personally like it because it gives me a better control of the music i listen to.
Downloads:
30 Step Volume Mod
Instructions:
1. MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP ! If something goes wrong (it wont, but... it happens) don't blame me
2. Download the mod and put it in your SD Card.
3. Boot the phone in recovery and flash the mod
4. Clear Dalvik Cache and Wipe Cache
5. Reboot the phone and enjoy !
NOTE:
The first boot might take a while, don't worry.
Yeah and as a surprise I am doing a custom number of volume steps. You tell me, I do it for you

Hello,
I have an Xperia sola with stock ICS rom.
I recently rooted and unlocked the boot loader of my xperia sola.
After that I ran Supercharger v6, Speedy Sola and AC!D Audio.
The camera worked fine before I rooted and unlocked the bootloader (while on ICS and back when I was on GB), but today I noticed that when I try to go to the camera nothing happens. I only hear a blink of the shutter and the screen goes black for a second.
I tried using Cyber Shot Mod but nothing changed, accept now there is no normal Camera app available, only the Cyber shot, which does the same as the stock camera app did (blink sound and black screen for a second).
I tried Flashing it to 6.1.1.B.1.54, nothing happened. Tried setting it back to factory but nothing changed.
I downloaded a camera app from Google Play and I can take photos there, but they are not as good and I would like to have my original camera app, as it was fine for me.
Please help.
Are you still using this rom with those apps installed? If so try a hard reset, if this doenst work try to flash stock ICS or GB rom...

Thank you for trying to help me.
As I wrote I already tried to factory reset it and flashing it back to ICS rom (with flashtool) but no luck.
After I did that it seems I still have root access, CWM is still installed and AC!D Audio is still there.
Do you refer to something different from factory reset when you wrote "hard reset"?
If not, do you have any other suggestions?
Then flash .54 tft again and do a full wipe (data), factory reset ang tick wipe data. You can remove sdcard if you want but everything from phone will be wiped, so bacjup what you want.

I apologize, it was my mistake. Accidently flashed kernel instead of full flash.
Fixed the camera.
