Sygic for gingerbread - Wildfire Themes and Apps

Hi,
I would like to install sygic but it does not work, I tried with the following version: 11.2.6 that was suggested by sygic for wildfire.
This version was fine with Froyo but not with Cyanogenmod 7 stable: the app freeze with a black screen after map downloading.
Thank for any help
Wildfire buzz 2.2.1 Revolutionary S-OFF and rooted with superoneclick
Rom 2.3.7
Kernel 2.6.35.14
Cyanogenmod 7 stable
Memory card partitions: fat32, ext2, swap

no idea if it helps but there''s an older navigation apps thread (which mainly reports lots of problems for sygic/GB if I'm not mistaken) - you may want to search the thread for "sygic" as there are a few posts...: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=815718

[Q] 2.3.3 ROMs?

Hello.
I have a very old Hero and got interested in updating it.
I see that Gingerbread 2.3.3 is the latest version, however I don't find any ROM that has it, I only find TastyGinger 1.x which has 2.3.2, why not 2.3.3? And it turns out that the new TastyGinger release (2.0) is marked as "2.3" instead of "2.3.2", does it have an older Android or what?
I've seen also that a lot of people say that Flash doesn't work on Hero. However it's working in mine (Android 1.5), is this because it's Flash Lite? How can I know that? Will the new Gingerbread ROMs include this version of Flash?
Thanks very much.
Hi there
Flash only works with sense roms (Sense is graphic UI that You have probably on Your 1.5 hero). It's flash lite, not full version.
Regarding gingerbread roms - Tasty Ginger haven't received an update for a while.
Gingerbread roms won't include flash, unless some genius dev (with help of few Igors and a trusty thunderstorm) creates a sense gingerbread ROM...but don't hold Your breath, it's almost impossible
cheers!
brat.haneq
PS. if You need working flash - try some of the custom 2.1 roms. VillainROM12, RCMix to name the few. I remember that there is 2.2 ROM with sense, but camera is not working on that one.
I can recommend elelinux 7.0 roms, and Cyanogen 7 rom.
Both u can find on this site ( under 'development' for hero)
elelinux rom works very well
Root that Hero and put Cronos Ginger on it. latset build is a 2.3.3

My girlfriend uses my Hero with Elenux 7 and the flykernel. It seems to be stable.
Elelinux 7.0.0 rc2 is rlly stable also is cm7 nightly 18 and if you are looking on a rom with flash tht is updated u can try VillianRom 13 or Tegro 2.5rc3 which are both sense one rosie and other expresso consecutively
the flykernel 12a that i unloaded of XDA no works in any of gingerbread roms, there´s anyone person that have the same problem???
my RADIO IS 63.18.55.06SU_6.35.17.03 THANKS!!!!!
Elelinux 7.0.0-RC2-Hero-v1.5... Works perfect.
elelinux gingerbread rom is great...but I recommend a 2.3.2 rom instead...
there is a memory leakage bug that makes my phone unstable in 2.3.3 roms
elelinux v1.6 just came out yesterday, which presumably fixes the leak. I just installed it a few minutes ago, going to test it now

desire mee good luck!!!!
ei! i´m with RAKERN 113 with gingerbread (elelinux 7 rc2) ane works fine... a little bit of battery drain but.... it´s a little sacrifice for a good performance.
elinux 7.0 is smooth. it does not have any problem on my hero starting from v0.7 to v1.6

[Q] G-Harmony Gingerbread vs Cyanogenmod 7 for BL1.1?

Hello All,
In the ROMS section of "Viewsonic GTablet For Dummies"
I see links to:
G-Harmony Gingerbread and Cyanogenmod 7.
Are these the same? If different , what are the significant differences between them?
I would like to try a version of Gingerbread where Netflix
will work. Which ROM should I use. I am on BL 1.1.
Additionally, if using Cyanogenmod, should I use the stable version
or the latest nightly build?
Thanks in advance for any advice,
Paul
Cyanogen 7.0.3 is working fine for Netflix

So nice, he had to say it twice?
Other reasons for choosing CM7 over G-Harmony include the greater frequency of updates due to it's larger development community and that you can get a version with the 1.2 kernel.
Decided to go with BL 1.2 due to most future ROMS will be developed to this BL. Went with CM 7.0.3; Netflix works great!!
Many Thanks!!

the other info is same as my ACE, except baseband version. mine is S5830DXKPB. is this depend on the stock rom before flashing CM?
how much does it drain the battery? mine is around 10 hours normal usage. I have not installed tweak yet.
I have the task manager (application manager) in CM7.2, just like the stock rom. if you want more, you can search in the market.
Try some other rom... Beta versions come with lots of bugs and problems as they are under development
Final versions are the most stable but not as stable as stock roms
I suggest try infinity rom
Hit Thanx if helped ;-)

I noticed that our current ref threads are terribly out of date, so I decided to create an updated one. I plan to keep updating this, so it should probably be stickied.

Note: I have omitted Froyo ROMs from this list, as they are significantly antiquated.

I'll sticky this thread as it's the most up-to-date of the lot. For now, I'll leave the other threads stuck as well as between them they cover info that isn't in all of them.
Good work ultravioletnanokitty.
<removed because I obviously figured it out>
I'd like to 'clean house' before my next ROM flash and I wonder what's the best way to rid my int and ext sd's of un-necessary crapola. I've copied contents to my pc so I have all my pix, Tibu bkups, clockwork bkups, and items that I need. So can I just delete everything I see on the sd cards now through my PC? or are there files that I need to leave in place for the ROM to flash successfully? I guess what I'm worried about are Root utility apps and files like: Superuser, Busybox, etc. can I just delete all and those neccessary files are safely stored in the hidden system files? I know i can use Google backup for contacts, calender events, etc..
I'd Love to see a guide on "preparing your byte zones for a happy Flash party!" with suggestions and instructions on how to clean out the detritus of uninstalled apps and leftovers from previoius ROMs.
