Hi, I've an htc touch dual 20 keys version that I bought from vodafone spain, and I'm looking for an original updated to time new rom, either in english, spanish or portuguese(portugal). So I'm new at these stuff and I don't know what to do with the sim lock and I want to unlock it, can you explain me how??
Or with a new rom, either original or not, what rom do you recomend me to unlock the sim block and be more stable with my HTC NIKE?
I don't know how to install the new rom and those stuff, like spl and other things, can you post me some tutorial links, to don't mess up to much with the phone and broke it.

Este rom está en español y fue liberado por "Hellonasty", incluye el driver s600 que mejora el rendimiento grafico, Lee este thread para instrucciones de desbloqueo, antes de flashear tu telefono.

thanx for the answer, but the network block to other sim cards still working. Have I done something wrong?
I download the files from the thread that you gave to me, then I follow all the steps that were in there, not the hard-spl, because its says that if you use it the phone will never be flashed again (is this right?, I don't know because my english is not very good), then I run the sspl on the phone and unplug and replug the usb cable, then I installed the hellonasty rom and it works fine, but a screen with vodafone symbol still runs when the phone starts.
What I've done wrong?

Look here the original rom. But this rom has been cooked in spanish 2 days ago.

i think ,the english language ROM is good for every prophet.
I'am chinese ,but i use EN ROM.

oh,there's a nb file,you could found a nb change to nbf tools in google,
i have a chinese version,maybe it's not good work for you
it is a nbf file! but when i try to use it with vistaRU i receive error 269! it seems that the rom isn't compatible with the VistaRUU!

I can flash it with VISTA.
Update your Driver first.
than use vista ruu
i've update the driver, but when i drop the nbf on the flasher it doesn't tell me anything about Device ID and other, but i can however push next button, and then i gave me error 269!
i've tryed also in xp: put the palm in bootloader mode (3 colors), launched the Vistaruu but still the same error!

İf you get this error. I think you didnt make hardspl right. I think Lazytool will solve your problem.
i've read that if i use vista, i don't need to do hardspl...

ok, i have used the first guide from windows xp, and then i've used vistaRUU still in windows xp. So i've flashed the rom. but now the palm it's extremely slow. so it's hard to explain it in english, however i've seen that touchscreen doesnt work: if i push on the left, it push on the right (it's an example), beacause when i've flashed the rom it doesn't ask to set the touch screen! so what can i do? i've try to do an hard reset but it's still the same thing: it doens't ask me to set the touchescreen!

After flashing the ROM have you make a Hard Reset ?
And have you read the tread about the ROM you have choose ?

Dopo aver installato la ROM hai fatto un Hard Reset ?
Devi riavviare il telefono,quando lo schermo è ancora scuro devi premere
CONTEMPORANEAMENTE i 3 tasti accensione,camera e comm manager
oppure vai in settings,system,clear storage,e nella casella scrivi 1234 e premi yes.Aspetta poi il riavvio del telefono (perderai eventuali dati) e il telefono sarà
pronto da usare.
Poi puoi leggere il tread dove hai scaricato la ROM e troverai sicuramente vari suggerimenti,e se hai altri dubbi puoi scrivere lì

hi paolo, i've tryed an hard reset but it's still the same problem! it doesn't ask me to set the touch screen. i've used the buttons to enter into the menu an set the touch. now it is ok. but i don't understand some thing:

this is the trhead about the rom i've flashed. i've seen that in the archive there is the rom "nk.nbf" but there is also a folder "CONTENT_OF_SDCARD": what is this?
ah! a can't find a lot of program like PPCContactsManager, pbar etc...i don't think it's normal!

Thats why he get 3 color screen. Just make hardspl right than Lazytool flash will help you.
CONTENT_OF_SDCARD, this means programs for rom. İt contains programs Cab files. You setup it from your sd card.
Just spend your time reading all those sticky thread and Im sure you'll start understand it..

first you have to know if is G3 or G4, then if you want to unlock SIM or not
once you know if G3 or G4 read the threads on HOW TO UNLOCK.
Then choose the ROM you like and flash the phone, thats it.

ok so i have a G4 wizzard 8125, i know its G4 from reading the threads, now im sure i read somewhere its safer to softreset locked G4, i dont think i want to unlock it so soft reset is my way to go right?
Also where can i find some roms or a list if anyone has any?

Not softreset. Softspl!
Since there are 95% no official ROMs found on the net so go for hardspl
Reason why not to use softspl : If you flash a ROM using softspl and the ROM was bad or something went wrong and the device got sucked at bootloader ( 3 colored screen or the rgb colored screen ), you must find a official ROM ( Must match your device brand. i.e you can only use qtek official rom for qtek device ); flash and make your device working. ( I guess, wizard love can replace official rom to flash and make the device working but I'm NOT SURE! )
So I suggest you to make your device hardspl inwhich if your device got suck at bootloader, you can easily flash different ( Custom ) ROM ( From bootloader using ruu ) instead official ones.

I strongly suggest you to read the manuals to unlock the device ...
than if you have deceided, make the HARDSPL that way you will be able to flash until you find the ROM fitting ur needs.
Just look in the forum there are many many ROMS, the newest are made by Cracing, Hammer, Hasseeb (if i forgot some other masters in the cooking way forgive me)

Te recomiendo que uses el Hard Spl por que asi es mucho mas facil el flashear una y otra vez, hastqe que encuentres la ROM que se ajuste mas a tus necesidades o simplemente te guste mas, hay muchas ROMS aca, sin embargo las mas nuevoas son las que hacen CRacing, Hammer, Hasseeb (si hay otors ases en la preparacion de estas ROMS y me olvide de mencionarlos les pido disculpas)

I tried even before to install the official jelly bean rom with kdz file but in android 4.2.2 i cant even connect my phone to lg software mode, and even when i try to connect to the lg software update it doesnt recognised it, even its impossible flashing any other rom, im messed up

E' successo anche a me, ho provato la cyano ma non mi piaceva, ho collegato a kdz ma non essendoci nella cyano la modalità LG SERVICE connettendolo allora non te lo riconosce. C'è una modalità offline mode, ma io invece ho ripristinato il mio backup della stock rom, e poi comunque visto che volevo installare la 20d poi KDZ me lo ha riconosciuto. Se non hai un tuo backup della stock rom scaricalo dalla sezione qui sul forum

Hello Buddy,
Please read the tutorial carefully, to boot into LG Software Upgrade Mode, Just Power Off your phone, Press and hold Volume Down button, Then Connect Your phone to PC with USB Cable and your phone will start in LG Software Upgrade mode, then Start Flashing KDZ.
There is another Method To GET V20 on your phone, That is Download and Restore CWM backup for your Device from cmahedrea's Backup collection thread. the link below:-

I'm not sure of any ROMs that can display in French. You could try the stock ROM since the Electrify (the phone's twin) was sold in Canada. Overall the best ROM that I have used is this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1587770

I would us we peetr's hybrid rom worked on mine b4 I gave it to my brother. It even had a locked bootloader and worked great.
