I am on Paranoid Android 0.4a which is a CM9 based ROM.

Hi I have a galsxy s2 gt-9100 that is running 4.0.3 (xxlp6) rooted and i want to change the audio setting as the in call volume is low. I have done allot of reading on this but have not get found a answer to this. I have entered the code to access the service menu and select option 5 which just says audio, but it just refreshes to the same menu.
I have tried a different kernel and the menu use to say audio is blocked.
Im stuck now any ideas would be most appreciated.

Click to collapse
And you have already set the volume level to maximum in Sound settings?!
If that is not loud enough for you, try to flash latest SiyahKernel and increase the extra sound settings in STweaks app (which will automatically installed after flashing the kernel).
Maybe this can help.
Good luck !
am i right this kernel is only 6 mb in size??
i have flashed with obin but there is no change have i done something wrong?
You must change settings in STweaks.
Flashing kernel without changing settings will have no effect.
Hi,
I was used CM 10 Rom for Xperia Ray. After some problems i decide to downgrade CM 10 to CM 9, and downloaded this ROM "CM 9.1.0 urushi". After all i wiped data and cache from CM recovery, installed CM9.1.0. When system rebooted and CM logo was looked, screen started to shaking and sliding left side automaticly like CRT screen flicker effect, and never stops that.
How can i fix that?
Try flashing the stock rom to see if it's a software or hardware defect
Hi,
I'm on PA 3.56, Baseband 1545VRUAMDK, kernel 3.4.0-cyanogenmod-gba 15d0b, build pa_jfltevzw-userdebug 4.2.2 JDQ39
My Full Screen mode becomes disabled whenever i enter into any app, and then back to enabled when returning to the home screen (details below). I understand the ROM is still in development, but if anyone can advise a fix to this prior to the next release it would be greatly appreciated.
Three days ago I installed PA version 3.56 on my Verizon Galaxy S4 via clockwork recovery. I had been using the Pie controls without any bugs for about 24 hours and then I began to notice that the full screen mode would disable when I enter into any application, then back to enabled when I return to the home-screen. I know it is not the specific application that is incompatible with pie because i can enable full screen while in the app and it works. I've ruled out any frozen applications by defrosting and the problem persists.
Additionally, this may or may not be related, but when i reboot, re-start launcher, or restore hybrid preferences, i can then not go back into hybrid properties until i restore paranoid preferences via titanium. I am prompted 'unfortunately settings has stopped.' Occasionally the same thing happens to system UI, and always to the camera. I can not use camera on PA 3.56
After this happened, i noticed also that even when I checked 'enable search button on pie controls,' in the toolbar settings, the search button would not be present until i restored hybrid preferences, and then disappear again after some time. When I restore hybrid preferences and reboot, startup occasionally hangs at samsung galaxy. I have to do a battery pull to reboot.
Any insight appreciated
When I go to system settings -> security -> encrypt phone, with phone fully charged and plugged in and a suitable PIN set, the phone reboots back to lock screen but does not appear to do anything to actually encrypt the phone. After reboot, the option remains looking identical in the settings menu. No error messages or the like.
The lock screen works fine (PIN required), the PIN is suitably long, everything is updated, etc.
I'm not sure what the issue is. I rooted & changed ROM immediately on getting the phone (it's new), so I don't know whether it would've worked w/ stock bootloader / rom / etc.
I'm running:
Nexus 4 (android 4.2.2)
ParanoidAndroid 3.65 (pa_mako-3.65-20130712 + pa_gapps-full-4.2-20130710)
TWRP bootloader (openrecovery-twrp-2.6.0.0-mako)
Any ideas on what's going wrong?
Thanks!
My just be bug in the rom you chose, go get an official Cyanogenmod or AOKP rom. Also, did you cache wipe/factory wipe phone after root and rom installation, this could also be a cause, just boot into recovery and do so
Hi,
Yesterday I installed the ROM G925FXXU3DPAD XEU - Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
But since, in can't find the menu to modify vibration intensity and enable vibrations for the back key.
Here is my menu "Sound and notifications"

And here are my frozen applications

Do you have any ideas ?
unblock all and see if 'vibration intensity' appears in the menu
Nothing changed...
I also switched to xtrestolite 3.0 beta2 (with full wipe) without success.
Problem solved by resetting the phone and not restoring it via google. I chose to configure it as a new device !
