Any ICS/JB ROMs with perfect bluetooth? - Atrix 4G Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I know, I know... wait until the official ICS is out and then we will have proper drivers.
I'm just curious if anyone out there has had a flawless bluetooth experience on any of the existing ICS/JB-based roms.
I've tried 3 different ones and they all seemed to have various issues connecting (or staying connected) properly to my car's bluetooth... which is a dealbreaker for me so I'm simply running the latest CM7 daily build which is working great.

Try the AOKP milestone 6 ported by Th3bill. BT works great with my car for music, navigation and phone calls.
So far any third party rom I've tried does not support txt thru BT which worked on stock GB. Can't remember what that BT
Service was called...
BT also worked great on CM9 by jokersax. 0.7.1 was a decent running build.
Have fun

Bluetooth audio not working with BMW iDrive

I have stock 4.1.83 rooted on at&t. My car is 2011 528i with iDrive and BMW assist.
Bluetooth works flawlessly for everything except for audio streaming. The car and the phone show Bluetooth audio is connected successfully but no audio when playing mp3 tracks or pandora.
My iPhone 3GS works fine with this feature.
Maybe it's just a compatibility issue on BMW's end but if anyone has any suggestions will be appreciated.
EDIT:
****FIXED. I flashed KennethPenn gingerbread beta 4 rom and audio transfer works flawlessly.
look in the dev section for instructions on how to unlock bootloader and rom flashing instructions.

Maybe it's the same thing, but when I turn on my GPS I disconnect the 3G and Bluetooth fails me.

My pause button does not work on my stereo bluetooth head set. I have had this issue with all the ics roms and kernels I have flashed. It works with fine on my blackberry and my computer so I know the headset is fine. Any fix for this?

[Q] Liquid ICS JMOD Google Voice dialer

First of all I believe this ROM is the bomb; finally have ICS on my TB. The only problem I am having is getting the Google Voice dialer to work with my bluetooth earpiece Plantronics M1100. When I double tap the earpiece the GV dialer pops up, I hear a double beeb and then nothing.
Anyone else having this problem and have you had it resolved. Thanks guys.
There seems to be Bluetooth problems with this Rom. I've read that formatting in EXT3 resolves this issue? I'm not positive though.

I attempted reformatting with EXT3 and still have the same problem.
Thanks for the advice; it was worth the try

The Bluetooth issue isn't a result of the file system, it's the kernel. In other words, we will have to wait for liquid to release a more stable version of his kernel. I use my Bluetooth a lot as well, and as a result I have to deal with the same issues. I've had issues where no audio streams through the Bluetooth headset, but when I toggle from Bluetooth headset to speaker and back to Bluetooth, I miraculously get audio.
P.S. the radio's won't fix that either.
Thanks for the update. I just hope Liquid can get it going quickly.
This is a slick ass ROM and would really like to continue using it.

Voice Dialer Problem with ICS....a work around
While I could get Bluetooth audio to work on several Thunderbolt ICS Roms, I could not get the voice dialer via the bluetooth headset to work. I tried using several apps to resolve this issue and finally found one! Try using the app called "Voice Control Full" and it works perfectly! The app is $1.99 for the full version and there is even a trial version I believe called "Voice Control Trial". This works way better than the stock Android dialer - much more accurate! Good luck!
I attempted the use the Voice Control Full app; it would not wake the phone up via Bluetooth.

You should mention on which rom you are .
You can check this by yourself by flashing any 4.1.2 stock custom rom if this works in that then definitely it was bug in 4.3 rom.
planning to do the same btw I tried on latest builds of CM , slim, carbon and omni with same result ... thanks for your reply..

Recommended rom?

Hi i need help in trying to figure out what rom other then 4.1.2 stock supports hands free bluetooth+ an assistant program with out my phone freezing and rebooting when trying to use such features. Why is this so important to me is cause i drive tracker trailers for a living and if caught using phone without it i could end up getting pulled over and paying a wooping 2000.00 dollar ticket.Note as of january 20014 i tested all kitkat roms along with and without JBX kernel and it just won't work for me however on stock 4.1.2 everything works perfect.
maybe you don't try cm11.
all motorola stock roms bad ram management, unneccessary apps, no notification bar settings etc.
Still looking for a reliable rom that will support such features for me without my phone crashing.i would go with a 4.1.2 rom however i cannot use such roms because i am using SS 3.65...
I am also using SS 3.65. My current favorite ROM is Gummy 2.1. Fast and everything works.
Edit:
Just noticed you said you tried all of the 4.4.2 roms. I have no bluetooth issues with KK.
Maybe try a 4.3 Pacman http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2301493

No need to test. I tested it with the latest slim 3.8 and it failed. However it does not freeze up then reboots, rather it just give static voice replies from it. Meaning it does not support audio streaming via Bluetooth headset, that the assistant program needs in order to function correctly.

That also could be your rom.

I sorta know at this point that all kitkat roms have boothtooth audio problem.I just finished a test with both slim rom and liqiud smooth using kernel http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2654233 and both give the same out come, " SOUND DISTORTION" when the app trys to talk back to me...But good news the phone is not freezing up and rebooting every time. And not to mention a third time my phone works 100% no problems on stock 4.1.2.So from my tests it still seems kitkat needs some more development. Before i can have a possible daily driver upgrade.I will refer my findings to the kernel dev. Thanks anyway. If you get any updates on a fix or w/e to have this feature stable let me know thank you.

This problem is not referring to using it with a car nor playing music, This problem is referring to using an assistant program via Bluetooth head set.
