[Q] Cwm for xperia p ics - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Can any one tell me how to install cwm recovery for xperia p running on stock ics? my phone is rooted.

Cwm for locked bootloaders are not fully functional yet..if u want to install CWM u need to unlock your bootloader and flash a custom kernel...
Look in the Dev section..

Isn't it understandable from the word itself?
Rom which already have root access inside. Meaning, after you install it, you won't have to root it.
Which is case in (I believe) all roms around.

I can but can't you search a little bit... Searching suave kernel for Xperia neo/v in Google will give instant results. .
Anyway here are the links: suave forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1708532
Night elf: forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1566871
There are plenty more but you have to search those in the development section... By the way you are on ics right?

Ok, but in this Rom: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1994064, there are some kernels, and the op says to install any one of them for the Rom. Do all of them have permanent cwm?

Most custom kernels will have cwm which dont go when you format system... That is an ics rom... You can use the kernel op provides or even suave night elf will do fine... Just be careful you use kernel of your phone only...

but is it possible CWM on stock kernel?
Did it! Flashed suave kernel, which seems to be good.
But im having an issue. im sure i selected the NEO V Suave Kernel for my phone and flashed it,
But on booting into recovery i find it says
CWM Based Recovery v5.0.2.7 FULL (by DooMLoRD)
Xperia Arc [v03] {ICS}
Whereas my phone is a NEO V.
Also, if i use The app Quick Boot to reboot recovery, it just boots normally.
To boot into recovery i have to power off, and power on, continually pressing VOL Down.
Thanks for help!

Don't worry, cwm recovery is same for all but its made for Arc hence displays Arc instead of Neo V
Not an issue at all,no functions affected!

Naah Im just a little to happy to have done it and to see everyone's eagerness to help! And its because of guides from you guys that I know how much I do! I'm not that much out an android noob now!! In my optimus black, kernels can be flashed as Simple zip files, so this flashtool sounded alien to me. But super easy now.
And yeah, no harm in using all my thanks lol

my andro not go to CWM .. any one tell me what is the problem ??

Recoveries will go if you wipe system or install roms...to overcome this you need to use custom kernels... In that cwm wont go...but for kernels you need unlocked bootloaders... Since you have locked thats how it will be...

a few days ago i have a problem exactly like yours.. here what i do to make it work again..
- download a full stock firmware for your phone
- open flashtool
- turn off your phone and connect it to PC in flash mode (press and hold back button and connect to PC)
- at flashtool press a lightning icon and choose flash mode.
- flash your full stock firmware and wait till finish
- turn on your phone and voila.... your phone ready to roll again
