is there an nfl mobile apk that will work for non verizon users? i've read many older posts saying that there was an apk that used to work, but now it doesnt. i would really like to have this app on my phone.
No the old versions of the app will tell you to update and the new versions of the app will not work on a non-Verizon phone. Even if you changed the build.prop you'd probably still get issues since it looks for the actual VZW account tied to the phone for billing purposes.

Today I was setting my apps to auto update when two of them said "not found". They are Tapatalk and Shapewriter. Anyone else notice they are missing from market? Is it just me?
What's going on with the vanishing apps?

Wow, nobody has a moment to verify?
Verified. I just updated my girlfriend's Fascinate (a wonderful adventure within itself), but after an Odin and update I was able to verify the issue. I even tried searching for it on market.android.com and was not able to find it. She cannot find two apps (one being a horoscope app, the other being some girly app that I can't remember ). I have seen this issue before with leaked updates, but wouldn't expect it from an "official" and "signed" update - which was also leaked and has been out for two months on here lol.
In doing some additional research, I found it is blocked via Verizon. If I use Market Unblocker (in market) and fake a t mobile ID i can see both apps just fine.
WTF? Why is Verizon blocking random apps?

I travel a lot, but I want to access the US Android Market, Pay in USD, etc.
There are a lot of apps I can find on other android devices in have without issue, but don't come up on my SII or when I do find them I'm told my phone is from the wrong Country!? Google Voice not loading seems almost insulting.
I guess I can backup and restore from one device to another, but I'm thinking I'm just missing something. Why would Google make users life this hard over something so basic?
At this point I'm ready to format the phone and rebuild it, or whatever it takes to set it up as a US domiciled phone. How can I do this?
I tried flashing a new ROM, but it remembered everything afterwards.
Try the Market Enabler app. It allows you to spoof different phone models and locations.

I tried the market app. It doesn't seem to work.
Hello everyone!
There was an app called Market Enabler that allowed you to unlock your market to certain carriers. For example I used the app to set my market to a Japanese cell company called SoftBank. When i activated the app it would make my market all in Japanese and told me all of the top free paid etc apps that would be in Japan.
Ever since there was an update to the market the app no longer works. I tried a few apps but they don't do the job. Tried setting and changing my phone model via a file called build but that doesn't seem to work, I can't even change my phones model.
Can anyone suggest an app like that? My phone is rooted, custom rom and everything. If the app is not free, that's totally fine.
Thanks you very much.

So a couple months ago on my Droid 4, carrier billing worked fine. I don't always use it, so I'm not sure when specifically it stopped working. But Now I switched to a Galaxy Nexus and I am trying to use carrier billing, except its not a option. I think it might be due to the updated Play store apk and JB. I tried a old version of the Play store apk, but it didn't even show Google Play before force closing. My question is, anyone that is on Verizon and a ICS ROM, could you please check if carrier billing is still a option for you, please.
Noticed a strange oddity today, albiet not sure if its a bad thing.
See I have a couple friends.
Friend #1 is on Sprint, and has the Foxfi Key purchased and bought before Sprint Barred it. She is on an Epic 4G
Friend #2 is on Tmobile, and has not bought it. He is on a Galaxy Note 2
Friend #3 is on Sprint, and has not bought it. She is on a Epic 4g as well
Friend #1 has also installed PDANet, but did so after they supposedly blocked Foxfi from Google Play. She is not only able to see Foxfi, and PDANet, but can download both without seeing the "This app is not available on your carrier" message. She did not install either via a web browser, but installed them directly from the app.
Friend #2 is able to see it irregardless, Friend #3 recieves the "This app is not available on your carrier"
All three phones are unmodded, completely stock, devices. They have never been rooted or flashed once.
I am able to see both applications, and download both from both a web browser and the Google Play app. I am running a rooted, de-carrier-iq'd, deodexed rom. My phone is a Tmobile Galaxy S3.
So my question is, are these apps really blocked? Or because Friend #1 bought them, is she is able to install them irregardless of the carrier block?
All of us are on US Based Phones and are located in the US. None of us are using proxies or witchcraft to bypass any blocks that are theoretically in place.
