Can't get to the recovery mode - Nokia Lumia 800

I've tried to plug in the phone with vol+ button pressed, but what it does is only long vibe and then nothing happens. Only "Windows Phone" device is shown in Devices and printers. After few seconds the phone switches on as normal. I can't also update software with zune as well beacause of the error 80070424. I've tried NSS and NCS but both of them are forcing me to switch to the recovery mode.

1.) Turn phone off
2.) Press and Hold Vol Up + Power until you feel a short vibrate then let go of the buttons
3.) Plug in USB to phone

It just turns on the phone as usual

Hi silkoo,
What kind of phone do you have, I mean is it a Lumia 710 or a Lumia 800 ?
Greetz,

Is your phone out of update mode yet?
If not, and it's still in USB connect mode, then unplug from computer and plug in to wall power source. It will eventually realize that it's not connected to a computer, that it's never going to get any information, and eventually shut down and restart (about 3-5 minutes).
I was stuck in this mode twice when I first got the phone.

Unable to enter bootloader mode N710

So I don't exactly understand what I am doing wrong.
I power off the device, hold down Vol+, insert the USB cable, release Vol+.
The screen stays blank, and Windows finds "Nokia DLOAD". I have NCS and NSS installed.
Now the problem is - after about 20 seconds, the phone just reboots by itself and boots to WP7.
This is without me doing anything. During this time I can see the device in NSS.
Tried with battery in, and battery removed...
Any ideas?
If I keep holding down the vol up button, it just reboots every 20 seconds....
Figured it out - the moment I saw the device, hit install in NSS and with Qualcomm loader it no longer reboots by itself

[Q] Cannot get to download mode

I deleted framework-res.apk by accident instead of replacing it. My phone became unresponsive so I took the battery out and put it back in and once it turned on it gets stuck at the booting logo. I cannot get it into download mode either. I pressed vol up+down and then plugged in the usb. I've also hard reset it pressing the vol + home + power button. I've tried every button combination suggested on the forums and none work. When it connects to my computer it is detected as an MTP and not software/usb. Is there anything I can do to replace the firmware with a stock version? Thank you very much.
Press VolumeUP button and insert USB cable into phone

I did this and the phone got into the S/W mode and my computer detects it in the drivers but none of the flashing programs recognize it. I tried using the LG support tool, KDZ flasher, and LGNPST. None of them detect the phone. The LG Support shows the phone in the beginning to show the model and drivers, but once I click update software it can't detect it anymore and crashes. Any advice on how to get stock firmware in this situation?

Question How to save a black brick

I tried to root my phone by magisk.
After flashing a patched boot.img, it's failed to boot into system and I got a message that "the device need factory reset". I clicked yes and everything seems ok,I can boot into system. Then I tried to flash img again. So I boot into bootloader. Unfortunately, this time I got a black screen. The phone doesn't response me anymore.
I tried the software repair in xperia companion but It cannot dected my phone when I hold on volume down and plugged in it. I also tried hold on volume up + power but nothing happened. Hold on power key also no response. The led light always black, only become red when I connect it to my pc.
What should I so now and what's my phone's status? I searched something about 9008 mode and edl but I don't know how to check whether my phone is really turn into that status, my pc cannot dect my phone.
Have the same problem, only with the 5 iii instead. Still looking for a fix.
Try to switch the phone off; then just plug it into your PC without holding the Vol- key. It has happenned a couple of times with me that the phone does not want to boot up, with attempts to get it into FLASH mode by holding the key down throwing more confusion into the mix.
I think there is a low battery protection. Make sure the phone is charged up. Keeps the device from death during a flash.
Red led mean a very low battery. Keep it plugged (not to PC but to power adapter) for 2-3 hours and then try again a force reset.
Never, never try flash or other stuff under 50% battery
Also force restart is keep pressed vol+ and power button (or vol- and power button) till you fell a vibration.
Try this after a good charge

It might require experimenting with service modes and different chargers. I had an early Xperia 1 III that bootlooped while charging after setting up the fingerprint reader. It seems that charging is disabled during booting. It has to finish or enter a service/fault mode.
my phone is having this after doing fastboot --slot=b reboot recovery (which actually I had to do fastboot --set-slot=b and then fastboot reboot recovery). the notification light blinks red. have tried vol up + power, vol down + power, and vol up + down + power for like 30 seconds and nothing

I feel sorry for you brother...such a nice device...OK let's talk what happened, the state now your device is in is called hardbrick and it had a corrupted bootloader or no boot loader, but your device is still alive, in your PC in device manager it lists as Qs USB mode with some number after it like qsusb9008...now this device can only be brought to life with the help of a blankflash file which can flash your boot loader in snapdragon service mode...actually no snapdragon can be hardbricked permanently now you need appropriate blankflash file for your device.. Please don't open the device if some repairmen suggests to do JTAG nothing is necessary all you need is blankflash file which is shared to only Sony testers groups.... Who tests ROMs before release and they hardbrick so they share those files to them.... Please don't loose hope....it takes time but certainly it can be bought back to life... And dont try any flashing utility as there is no functional boot loader on it now and nothing will work...Sony won't provide that for sure and they will say then can only solve by mother board replacement ,don't believe therm your device is perfect it only needs blankflash file as it entered into final safe mode... I ain't regular on XDA if you need any info contact me via my mail [email protected] g ma I'll .com
Have any of you tried this - https://developer.sony.com/develop/open-devices/get-started/flash-tool/download-flash-tool/
ok in my case it was the charging IC

Question After an unsuccessful update to Samsung A52 5G became a brick

After an unsuccessful update, the phone was bricked. It cannot be turned on, but when is connected to the PC, the Qualcomm Port 9008 port become active.
Is it possible to unbrick the phone via Qualcomm EDL mode or any other way?
What? What do you mean it cannot be turned on? Even when breaking a samsung phone's firmware, "download mode" should still be active and working. In that case, you have to reflash a whole firmware again. Unfortunately, there's a chance that you will have to give up on your data.

I actually found a solution. I left the battery on the phone to be completely discharged. Then I pressed 3 buttons (volume (+), volume (-) , and power) and connect the computer via USB cable with the phone. The phone went into an emergency recovery mode. I tried to use Odin, but didn't work out. After pressing the power button (for 5 sec.) The phone restarts and the update started over.
Nevertheless, thank you.

Try entering download mode.
Power off your device.
Press and hold volume up and down buttons at the same time, then connect it to your PC while you still hold them. It will automatically enter download mode.
Flash firmware.
