I have tried numerous searches, both here and google itself....and can't find an answer. I seem to find other people with a similar issue as I am having, but no resolution. I have 2 types of Clock/Weather widgets I have tried to use...both display the time correctly, but no weather. It will show my location, but again...no weather. When you click on where the weather would be, it will tell that there is no forecast details available. When I go into the settings of the widget app I am trying to use, and try to manually put in my location, It will say it can not find my location...no matter if i input the zip code, or city name. But again...the corrct location shows up on the widget itself when the GPS option is selected in location settings. The two widgets I have tried to use is, FANCY WIDGET - and LP SENSE CLOCK WIDGET (Both of which are HTC style clock/weather widgets, just the LP SENSE is the updated 4.0 version)
If anyone has insight on this, It would be appreciated. All I can seem to figure out the issue is, is that something on the phone is preventing weather to be displayed, as the problem happens on 2 different types of widgets.
I have tried a reboot, reinstall, wipe cache, etc
A lot of weather widgets that was using iGoogle's weather API is experiencing this because they shut down Google that API. Either wait for dev to update the app to use a different weather provider or switch weather services.

By switching weather services, do you mean by finding a new widget...or is there a way to change the widgets weather service? I have been trying to figure out a way by editing something within the widget by accessing the files with root explorer, but cant find anything.
You need a new widget. Something like AccuWeather, Weather Channel, Weather bug, etc. You need one that DOESNT use Googles weather service. I've never seen one that let's you change it.

Beautiful Widgets had an option to use either Google or Accuweather as a source, then again it's a paid app. I'm sure it's not the only one out there.

It appears Google has quietly killed its weather API
Reported story from http://thenextweb.com
Last month, Google announced plans to shutter iGoogle, among a bunch of other services. Many developers and users were (and still are) outraged, but at least they have some time to breathe: iGoogle isn’t going away until November 1, 2013. That means there are still 15 months left to adjust and export your data. Yet some changes are already starting to take effect: the company’s private Weather API, for example, appears to be dead in the water.
The Next Web has reached out to Google for comment. While there has been no official announcement or communication indicating that the API has been closed, it is noteworthy that iGoogle — the product that the API serviced — is now using Wundergrond.com instead, as you can see in these two examples: 94102 and Mountain View. This would suggest the search giant has knowingly made the switch.
It would appear that this error is happening because Google has quietly phased out its Weather API. A quick check over at Status Dashboard shows that the response time has dropped to -1 today.
In spite of no official word from Google, Web developers, many of whom have been experiencing issues, seem convinced that the API has been quietly closed down by the search giant. A Hacker News submission points to an error message that Google throws up when you try to query the Weather API with the 94102 area code in San Francisco while another developer over on Stack Overflow points to the same error when you search for a specific city, such as Mountain View:
We’re sorry…
… but your computer or network may be sending automated queries. To protect our users, we can’t process your request right now.
See Google Help for more information.
The error page features the old Google logo and a 2009 copyright stamp. Twitter users also don’t seem pleased:

Things I did not plan on doing this week: Rewriting weather app because Google shut down their weather API!
— Bradley Batt (@bradbatt) August 27, 2012
So Google pulled the plug on their undocumented Weather API? Expect support tickets.
— Joël Cox (@joelcox) August 27, 2012
Web developer Jordan Stephens isn’t even bothering to look for alternatives. In fact, CurrentlyIn has been completely shut down as a result of the Google Weather API outage, according to an error message from the service:
currentlydown : (
Google has shut down its undocumented weather API (which was used by this site).
currentlyin.net will be down for the forseeable future.
As this is a private API, Google is arguably entitled to pull support without warning but that won’t stop developers being disappointed by the move and lack of communication. Since its main purpose was to serve iGoogle, it is perhaps unsurprising that Google has axed it.
I was using Beautiful Widgets. The update as of the 03/09/2012
version 4.12 - 3rd of september 2012

Yes Beauriful widgets is your best bet.
Well that explains a fair few things like why W&TW wasn't updating like it should've. While it's currently like 30°c outside today, it (W&TW), was only reporting a current temperature of 15°c, markably cooler then. Having taken the advice to uninstall and, then re-installing the App, has now left me with a dead App that can no longer pull in any Weather data here or from the States. beit by proper Place Name, or by Zipcode.
And I really loved W&TW too...
I for One am gonna miss the Cloud Animations.

I have an HTC HD2 too
and have had the same problem with Fancy Widget not displaying the Week's forecast:
This was resolved by going in to
Opening up the setting of Fany Widgets
Open Location & Settings
change to AccuWeather
change Geocoder to "Weather Provider"
and i only Tick "Geolocation" = dont tick "Use GPS" to save on battery life
This should also help with your Weather location remaining up to date

Nice app, THX man !
Well, on my Lumia920 doesn't work as expected... Too bad, pretty interesting app, but has flaws.
@ miodrage :
I got a 920 and made all my test on it.
Can you send me more information at [email protected]?
If you are able to spend some time on that, i can investigate with you
I have a Lumia 920, and it seems to work just fine on mine. I like this app a lot. One thing I dislike about the Windows Phone interface is the fact that I cannot see multiple entries in my calendar up front, and this app takes care of that.
Good job!
Thanks for your feeback yohannrjm
For your information, the free period has been extended to wednesday 20 February.
I've created an app to display the list of the next visible events of your agenda on your wear, it's a beta as I think I can improve it but I wanted to show it to you to have some feedback.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.qhutch.agendawear
To sync your data with your watch you have to open the mobile app once or reboot your phone (so that the activity is called).
I've tested it on my LG G Watch and it's working but for now I haven't tested it in english, just in french so if there are problems in english just tell me.
The limits I've set is 50 events and 2 months max, but maybe later I will make a setting so that everyone can choose it.
That's it, test it, share it and give some feedback.
here are some screenshots, tell me how I could make it look better

I'll test it as soon as I get my LG G Watch !
And if it's in french, it's really nice
Will you add the possibility to add an event to a calendar directly from the watch or it's not in your plans ?

I'll try to add things that people want so if you really want that and if you're not the only one I'll try, but I don't think it can be easy to create an event on a watch

I was thinking to smething like this (for classes, for exemple):
On the phone, we can add all the types of events (homework, lesson, interrogation,..) and all our classes.
Then, when we want to add an event on the watch, we chose the date, then, we can select the type (homework) and what is relatited to (English).
I don't know if I was very clear, but I tried ^^

So you have some registred events on the phone and when you create a new event on the watch you just choose from one of them and select the date and the time ? I could do something like this but I'm gonna need time

Yes, it's exactly what I wanted to say !
The interface seems to be really great on the screenshots !
The only thing I would change is the color of the event, I would prefer it on the left side, like on all calendar app, but it's only a matter of taste

There's a bug that opens the app everytime the data is synced, i'll fix that as i'll be home from work

Nice app, downloaded it and tested and works fine, suggested enhancements will make it even better. My suggestion would be to add a small line separator between the days. Thanks
Problem with last version (1.1.1). App auto launch regularly on watch and stay on screen without user want it. It avoid the normal hour screen.

When exit the watch app and return to previous wear screen, the current card rectangle is resized (and distorted) to full screen without his original background.
(After update new version watch app crash ("Agenda weat s'est arrêté") until I select "Actualiser" on android app. After it works.)

The crash is normal because I changed the way it handles the data, but I really don't understand your bug with the distorded card, does it happen everytime you close the app ?

I see the same problem with another app when close. So it is an android wear problem.
Been testing this for a few days, and enjoying the functionality on my LG G Watch! I have a few suggestions and a couple bugs to report:
Suggestions:
- Add a line, or some kind of separation between each agenda item to clean up the list view
- Add a way to view more details (tap, swipe, something)
- remove the tap to count days... or make it clear off a little quicker...it kinda slows down the app's flow
- Add gesture method to quickly open the Agenda Wear on the watch...similar to how Mini Wear Launcher can be opened with a swipe from the upper left corner in watch face screen, add option to swipe (maybe from upper right, or bottom) to quickly open Agenda Wear
- Add logic to "hide", or not display, the previous day's agenda items when watch is unable to sync with the phone. I think I get it that the app can't sync when the phone is off or not in range. However, it should be fairly simple, using the watch's internal clock, to determine what day it is and adjust what each item shows (or doesn't show) as days pass by
- Date is currently shown in an international format (dd MMM), however, if possible either they should follow regional settings on watch/phone or should have selectable view to allow either dd MMM or MMM dd.
Bugs:
- the tap to count days gives incorrect count when "yesterday's" item(s) are showing. My phone's battery died, so Agenda Wear couldn't, understandably, refresh and stop showing the previous day's agenda items. It should say "Yesterday" or "x Day(s) Ago" but it shows "364 days ago" instead, as if it can't determine that yesterday is in the same year
- agenda items that start at 12PM are shown as "0:00 PM"
- agenda items coming from GMail's Holiday and Weather calendars are 1 day off. For example, today is Labor Day, Sept 1st in the US, however Agenda Wear is showing Labor Day as Sun Aug 31st. Same with my weather, the date is showing on Agenda Wear as Sunday Aug 31, while today is actually Monday Sept 1.

Thank you for you suggestions, I think I will make that the wear doesn't show past events, even if it doesn't sync with the phone.
It's in my intentions to remove the toast when click and replace it by a page with more info about the event, if I have enough time I will do it this week.
I tried to add a small separator but failed for the moment, because I'm using wearablelistview, but I'll keep trying.
I really don't know how to add a gesture to open the app, but I'll search.
I'll add a setting for the date format (MMM dd).
So midnight should be shown as 12PM ? And midday 12AM ? I'll do it.
I don't know why your items from holiday and weather calendars are shown 1 day off, but I'll search for it, (mine are showing fine so I don't really know, are those all day events ? does it the same with all day events you make on your own calendar ?)
Edit : on 12 hour time, is it good to better to show 9:00 AM or 9 AM ?
