Fists of all there was a tought in my mind that i can use samsung smart tv ciname thing whit this phone which i can watch some movies tv shows etc. whiout paying aything there are alot of billboards etc. in turkey which i live about this and s3 so my brother bought a s3 for me from germany but i dont know how can i watch that movies etc. is there any app for it i didnt see anything on my phone its just like s2 menu almost and another question is i am using phones original head kit when i was listening fm radio i cant change the station whit keypad on it phone shows me to say next etc. etc. today i tried to do that while i was coming home from work on the train and people looked me like i am crazy because i was saying next next over and over but nothing happend whats the trick for that ?

ok well im good with computers in general and i would have no problem rooting my hero. my first question is what are the main pros/cons? i dont have 2 reasons yet to root, the only one iv heard of is to see the paid apps in market, but i wouldnt be able to buy them right? (i am in canada).
second, i dont know when we will get 1.6, or even if we will.. but im hoping it has the newest flash. I would love to be able to watch streaming video from the interent (like full movies, tv shows etc(besides youtube)) and right now only smotri works slightly, and i could really use z share videos! and since we dont have flash yet, im hoping there is some way to stream to the hero from my computer!
i have tried tversity.. i can get video playing at about 3 frames a second but audio works fine.
i have tried watching videos off my comp through remote desktop (i knew it wasnt gunna work but i haad to try)
SO my question is, is there any way to tream to the hero!?

here's a few pictures of it.. its running an allwinner A20 chip.. the xbmc it came with was just horrid. It would play anything hd on xbmc with extreme lag and chopping.. so I tried some other versions of xbmc and none are stable at all.. I just dug them outta the "man cave" in my house and installed the new xbmc 13 and it seems to be running way faster and smoother..... howwwwever. im getting that issue with no internet.. when im not in xbmc it the internet works great.. I flashed one of the boxes and screwed it right up now because I cant use the remote anymore.. and it wont play anything either. just black screen then freezes up... im wondering if ANYONE has had this box or has any ideas on what I can do to get these things working at least decent.. I found this custom "xbmc hardware accelerated" version which can let me at least watch one channel but it crashes quite often and kicks me right out of xbmc.. any help would be great guys. thank you so much for taking the time to read my nasty post. I just spent over 1000$ on these over 2 months ago and just don't know what to do anymore... I cant even send them back as the company is a joke and wont do anything. so alliexpress was able to get me about 300USD back.. but that's it.. im still out a ton of cash.. Is there a way to connect the Gear S via BT to multiple phones?
Mine is already connected to a Galaxy S4 mini (as well as remotely connected many times), but i would love it if i could also connect via BT to my iPhone 6.
I know the functionality (when connected to the iPhone) will be severely handicapped (just phone calls) but still i would like to have that.

Ideally the watch should be able to connect to both my S4 mini and my iPhone 6.
Lol Samsung and apple don't play nice, they fight on the playground....I'll hand it to you ,you are very brave to even suggest this haha. Goodluck though I don't think it's possible

and i have a chance to buy the samsung gear S from a guy at work (he is not using it for sports).
is it worth buying for 100$ second hand?
i will be using it for running (instead of running with my phone+polar watch+polar strap).

Gear S works only with Samsung phone (otherwise you must have a big luck to connect with many works).
Or use only on standalone mode without connected phone.
Did you end up getting one? How does it work for running? I'm thinking of getting one as I am in the gym several times a week and would like to be able to put headphones on and workout while listening to music. I read somewhere that with the stock Tizen, apps are slim and there is no music player. Is that true? I also like that I can put a sim card in my watch and use it for calls. That said, it might end up being a pain to move the card from my phone all the time. any recommendations? Clone sim (if that's even possible). I just want to know if this watch will still be able to do the stuff I want now that it's reached end of life.

NO, there are some music player app and one player included on the watch.
Hi folks,
my Samsung J series TV got the Smart Hub screwed, basically the only apps that work are the crap web browser and the e-manual, lost youtube and all the other default apps which are grayed out...
And I can't install any app either, not even a non default app even if I put a USB pen drive, it always say Smart Hub is updating but the TV has no memory left and nothing works, it reports 1GB used 0KB free...
I already tried all kinds of reset including Samsung Service Menu Factory reset, tried app update via service menu, nothing fixed it...
The TV is on latest FW 1530.1 so no root publicly available that I know off, neither downgrade ...
I talked with samsung remote assistance but all they do is smart hub reset which I already have done many times and off course didnt work so he told me to take it to a repair shop which there's only 1 where I live.
I took the TV to the store last week and just by leaving the TV there I had to pay god damn 30€ just so they can tell me what is the fix and how much will it cost which is a very bad practise since it's a software problem, and anyway I don't think they will be able to do anything, they will probably call me next week saying to replace the motherboard which I know is all in perfect condition and I won't ever want them to open up my TV...
Does anyone know if there's anyway to reinstall smart Hub or reinstall latest FW again as like a recovery mod??
PS: The TV is Tizen OS from 2015 Series J of samsung Smart TV and I know this is actually a very well known samsung problem and we are the ones who have to pay for they bad mistakes when many people have the same exact problem... Also my cousin just bought a Samsung 4K TV this year and just like mine Out-of-The-Box the TV has still only 1GB total memory and a few MB free just like mine back in 2016 when I bought it, so she will probably eventually have the same problem some time after if the TV gets out of memory which happens fast and in case a Smart Hub update appears everything goes to hell...
