I'm working on port CM9 to Pantech Sky IM-A830S device. To build CM I need a device tree, does anyone know how to make it? I have full backup of its ICS rom and kernel sources.

Is it safe to dual boot custom ICS rom and custom jellybean ROM?
Sent from my GT-I9100 using xda app-developers app
Yes.
Just make sure that both roms work with the kernel you're using - Siyah 4.1.5 doesn't work with some of the latest JB roms.
I'm on revolt 2.5 and I wanted to install RR ICS because some apps don't work on jb. So it should be safe with RR 2.6?

It should be fine if the roms both work with the kernel you're using.
Do a nandroid first though.
Guys, I am a noob and I very very interested building my own ROM for LG Optimus Sol. And I am targeting either CM10 or CM10.1. Our device is not officially supported by CM. (But unofficial builds are there CM9 and CM10). So can yoou guys give me some links from where I should start?
And I have installed Ubuntu 12.04 64 bit and with 100GB HDD partition. Is that well for building CM10/10.1?
Please guide me.
You guys rock!

It may only be a port of the ROM but definitely not from source since MTK is closed source.
MTK sources were leaked
