I'm stuck on a not functional (Not booting) ICS Dynamic ROM and I don't have a backup on my XPU, the backup is on the PC (Nand.).
What can I do ?! for some reason flashtool is stuck on "reading device info." ....:crying:
Flash a GB kernel with CWM in fastboot mode. Switch the phone off. Reboot into recovery. Connect USB and mount USB storage (last option in mounts and storage). Copy your backup to /sdcard/clockworkmod/backup. Unmount USB storage. Switch off phone. Reboot into recovery again and restore the backup.

Hi
My tablet is: Asus Transformer TF300T (rooted)
What I did:
- I accidentally wiped all data in tablet - ROM, etc. Only left is Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP) v2.2.0 recovery
- I put Android.zip (installation files) into MicroSD Card / uSD Card
- I boot into recovery (TWRP)
- TWRP does not read/detect the SD Card
- There is no files in /sdcard except one; /sdcard/TWRP/.twrps
I also
- installed adb on PC
- did 'adb devices' - no device detected when connect between tablet and PC
How?
Try different versions
Or use cmw recovery
DONT FORGET TO HIT THANKS.......

Try installing ROM from usb drive using USB OTG if supported
If that don't work, you can go to fast-boot mode (generally pressing Vol.Down or Vol.Up + Power button, But depends on your device)
and the use adb to install CWM or TWRP recovery again

i'm having the same problem, & i can't use my phone as adb device unless usb debugging is on, & there is no rom on the phone & i cant have access to internal storage
Hallo,
I have an LG E460, as it was slow yesterday I decided to install the ultraslimrom, so I made the root, unlocked bootloader and installed the custom recovery Philz Touch CWM Advanced.
I rebooted the terminal in recovery mode, did wipe data, cache and Dalvik Cache.
And here I have done the damage, in practice I tried to upload the zip file but told me the recovery can not mount sdcard etc .. (I do not have an external sd, only internal memory), so do not know for what reason absurd I connect the phone to PC and I formatted according to all the phone (fat32)
Result: phone that rightly does not light, no lights, nothing, if connected to the PC is detected as "USB serial device" but I can not do anything about anything.
Help please!!
Situation is as described. Previously when i boot into recovery (TWRP 3.0.2-0- sirius) my phone was seen on PC as xperia Z2 and i was able to copy files from and to the phone. Now the situation is the following:
When I boot the phone to TWRP recovery and plug it to the PC Windows shows MTP device (unknown manufacturer)
It shows flash card and internal memory on this device? but when trying to copy files to it - system holds.
How can I fix this problem?
I have MXRom 9.0.0 installed with stock 23.5.A.1.291 TWRP, DRM Fix, bootloader unlocked. That's what flashtool shows when phone conneted to PC in TWRP
14/058/2017 18:58:57 - INFO - Device connected with USB debugging off
14/058/2017 18:58:57 - INFO - For 2011 devices line, be sure you are not in MTP mode
Same for Windows 10, Windows 7 or Mac OS.

I didn't exactly understand what is the problem with flashtools
But for TWRP you may disabled the mtp mode go to mount section and enable mtp mode

MTP mode Enabled, just checked it out.
Have you tried TWRP 3.1.0?
P's TWRP is not stock based.

Yes, I have tried TWRP 3.1.0, system doesn't boot after installation of this TWRP. After that I've cleared system, data, cash, dalvik in TWRP, managed to install MXRom to the fully cleared phone. 1-st installation goes wrong with some mistakes with appslog, system doesn't boot but to the older TWRP version which goes with this MXRom. I've managed to clear system once again from this TWRP and the second installation goes well.
PS I know that TWRP is not in stock, I mean modified stock kernel with root and TWRP 3.0.2-0-sirius in it.
No new information for me?
It's a miracle, after installing [ROM] [Z2] [LB/UB] [6.0.1] [.291] [UPDATE :- 14.10.2016] Google Style v4 by Rajeev my phone starts to work properly in TWRP, but it is seen as Xperia Z3, not Z2 by Windows 7, Windows 10 and Mac Os. I can now copy, delete and edit anything on internal memory and microsd card.
Hi all, I have my phone (CUBOT X17 MTK6735) with broken screen and I thought to take it off. Later I decided to recover photos and videos from intrnal memory.
I try this:
- boot the phone normally and check if it is possible to connect phone to pc as storage [NO]
- boot in TWRP recovery mode and check if it is possible to connect phone to pc as storage [NO]
- boot in TWRP recovery and check ADB command [No device found - but i don't know if the phone really boot in recovery because i haven't screen at all]
- readback the DATA partitions with SP Flash Tool [OK but no image or video found in Partition EXT4]
One of the problems is that I don't know if there is any error with the screen unmount when i boot the phone. Because i have take off the pin and the screen was trashed.
I was wondering if it is possible to readback the entire emmc memory from the phone and find the files i want. Or if there are other way.
Thanks for replies
I'm trying to go from global to eu rom , I've have unlock it and developer mode and USB debugging on but when I connect it to my computer i got just got shared folder up and none of those are available when it boots up in TWRP , any suggestions
Format data and then copy rom file to phone
Sometime you have to restart in recovery mode to show/ select rom file
Note:Click restart in restart in recovery from twrp
