Thank you iTK,
But the link you mentioned is for international version I guess.. The Indian version is GT-I9000.
Is to possible to convert my above mentioned model into Indian version firmware?
From where I can get the firmware?

GT-i9000 = Samsung Galaxy S I
GT-i9100 = Samsung Galaxy S II
GT-i9300 = Samsung Galaxy S III
All of South Korean variants have a T-DMB tuner in place of FM radio tuner. They also have Samsung's Korean input system for feature phones as well as Dubeolsik layout in their virtual keyboard.
The SK Telecom SHW-M250S variant uses SK-MMS system instead of OMA-MMS system for MMS. Additional features for SK Telecom users are installed by default.
This SHW-M250K variant uses KT's Wi-Fi CM[clarification needed] instead of Android's Wi-Fi CM to connect Wi-Fi. Additional features for KT users are installed by default.
Because of mobile networks LG U+ have, the LG U+'s Galaxy S II (SHW-M250L) uses EV-DO Rev.B (KPCS 1.8 GHz) instead of WCDMA and HSPA. It is slightly thicker (9.4 mm) than SK Telecom and KT variants (8.89 mm). Additional features for LG U+ users are installed by default

Sounds like you got some bad ROM donwloads possibly, or at least as likely you have stale data that needs wiping. Unfortunately wiping data and cache on ICS ROMS isn't yet known to be safe because of the emmc bug. So you might need to flash an older ROM and then wipe (search how to enter recovery mode to do a factory reset on this device)
Flashing international works but you need the PIT file too.
There's a guide here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1097347&page=119
on post 1182
The good thing is if you use a brickbug safe kernel, you can then wipe before booting.
These are all SKT ROMS for the SHW-M250S (I haven't tested these downloads)
http://w.jkh.kr/gb4/
I've been running an SHW-M250S rom on my 250K without problems, but reflashing one again is giving me a little trouble.. related probably to some old data I haven't wiped in a good enough way (I did go back to a GB kernel and do wipes but something is still fishy). The 250K roms seem a little less temperamental, but I don't know where to find recent ones. I got the recent roms by flashing older one's and then freezing kies (with a process manager) right after it decrypted the rom, instantly before it flashed... then grabbing the file off the hard disk (just search for files > 100Mb written today)
These are some older ones:
http://shomblingteam.blogspot.kr/201...-sii_5143.html
I found the EG26 250K ROM worked well. It's not ICS, but once it's working you can udpate with kies.
The good news is all the ROMS I've found for this phone include kernels modems and secondary boot loaders, so you shouldn't need to worry about something missing other than a pit file for partitioning.
If you actually did use a pit file, you might need a 250K pit file. I think heimdall which I use to flash should be able to grab mine but I haven't tried.
You'd probably be better off to quote all this and move the discussion to the real thread for this device (the one I linked with the guide).

Regarding the problem with the 250S ROM.. it was a wiping issue. I manually mounted and cleared /data and /cache with root access in adb in recovery mode. That worked. Again though the 250K ROM seems less sensitive.
UPDATE:
and the wiping only helped because of corruption that ultimately was caused by heimdall which does NOT work for this device for flashing full roms. This was the source of all the problems I saw.

I've successfully converted about 5 M250s to GT I9100 but I did not use Odin do as to avoid messing with the bootloader.
I flashed an unmodified firmware in CWM zip format via CWM recovery and that's all.

REVERTING BACK TO SHW-m250* FROM AN I9100
1. Download the firmware from *see below*. Be sure to download the correct firmware for you phone. SK for M250, and KT For M250K. Either choose the rooting version or the normal one.
2. Download the pit attached from this post. Use the m250k_pit(can work on both m250k and m250s)
3. Go to download mode by pressing [Power+Voldown+home button at the same time] then click the Vol up to confirm to go to download mode. There should be big Android in the center of the screen.
4. Run ODIN(run as admin if using win7 or vista) then connect your phone to you pc through a usb cable.
5. Fill up the PDA using the Firmware you got. Fill up the pit using the m250k_pit I provided in the attached file.
6. It should look something like this:

LOCKSCREEN AND POWER BUTTON ISSUES(Need to be Rooted):
For lockscreen and power options you can solve this prob by folllowing this
1. Using a root browser navigate to /efs/imei
2. Create file "keystr"
3. Open it as text and write "ON"
4. Set permissions to rwx rwx rwx
5. Reboot

If you are not yet rooted, read the next steps
CONS:
1. Gyroscope not working or buggy(for others it is but for me it's fine. I can play asphalt with no difficulties)
2. Weak Vibration
3. Weak mobile signal or connection. Look for a diffirent modems. Try the one I attached at this post I9100_radio NELP2. Flash it using CWM. I'm currently using it and I don't experience any difficulties in mobile connection except of course if I'm on the comfort room or in mountains. LOL
4. No NFC capabalities
PROS:
1. You can now be at ease at the removal of the irritating 80sms character limitation
2. Your phone is the same as the international I9100. It basically does almost the same.
3. You can flash all I9100 roms and kernels(do at your own risk)
4. No Korean bloatware apps. Like t-map,t-store and the like
5. Rooting is a walk in the park.(easier and have more support)

[Q] Installing Stock Samsung Firmware on phone with 3 UK Firmware

Hi there, hope I could have a moment of your time.
I am hoping to upgrade from 3 UK 2.3.3 to Samsung Stock 2.3.4, here is my current information:
PDA: I9100 XWKF4
Phone: I9100 NEKF2
CSC: I9100 H3GKF1
Kernel Version: 2.6.35.7-I9100XWKF4-CL280512 [email protected] #2
Network Information: Pay Monthly 3 UK, but Unlocked
Is it possible to do this and still have a fully functioning phone, and if so which, PDA, Phone and CSC files do I require?
P.S. I have both ODIN and Kies installed and phone is currently rooted. I have attached two images with all relevant information to this message.
If your phones rooted, just grab a CWM flashable zip, boot into recovery and flash from there.

[Q] Cannot load Android after root attempt (possible wrong firmware)

Seeing how easy it was to root my Samsung S2 with Gingerbread I tried it as well after the ICS update through Kies but after the process my phone just stays at the loading screen with the yellow triangle. I tried re-doing the steps and also tried a factory reset in recovery mode, cleared cache but it does not want to boot up. I then noticed I never looked at my firmware version and now I am unable to get this information as the phone does not start up.
Where do i start to get my phone working again. Below is all the details I could get from my phone:
Samsung GT-I9100
Serial Number: 355310040993713
I noticed when my phone was rooted with Gingerbread and I did the upgrade through KIES to ICS it removed my root access - is there a similiar way if one is not able to boot up the OS? Also recovery mode and download mode all work so I assume I do not have a brick?

No you don't have a brick.
1: flash the stock kernel if you know what ROM version you had using Odin.
2: flash again using Odin.
Also do the code wipe after flashing. And start from scratch.
Do not restore GB backups and use correct CF-Root to get root.
Thanks for the quick reply - but that is the problem. I have no idea what my kernel version is as I did not take it down before doing the rooting.

Well that was foolhardy.
How did you try to root after you updated to ICS then? Sounds like you tried to root by flashing a kernel; how did you know what kernel to use if you didn't know what your original kernel was?
You may need to flash a full stock firmware. That will include a stock kernel too.
well in that case flash a stock latest ICS using odin
after first boot dial *2767*3855#
it will wipe your phone but will fix the problems that may come later.
Ah okay - so I can use the "[GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII" (sorry cannot post links yet) on the xdadevelopers forum?
Would this also mean I am still able to use my phone with Samsung Kies or when does Samsung Kies normally stop working?
EDIT: I also stumpled across the "[ROM+Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares KL1/2/3/LA2,4/LB2,LPE/Q/7/2/F/S/4/7 Download" thread. Would it be safe in my case to grab one of the official firmware that matches my region or is this to risky?

Yeah I was indeed foolhardy - I used XXKPA ICS Android 4.0.3 Firmware. I just finished downloading the main files as per the "[GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII" guide. This should cover the full stock firmware and stock kernel?

Both recovery packages for GB and ICS both look like full firmwares. So yes, they will also include the kernel.
Just follow the guide.
Okay - the "[GUIDE] Fix an unflashable or soft bricked GSII" fixed my issue but now Samsung KIES gives me a "Your device does not support software upgrading through KIES".
Is there something else I can do or should I start looking at the "[ROM+Guide]Official i9100 Firmwares KL1/2/3/LA2,4/LB2,LPE/Q/7/2/F/S/4/7 Download" and can I just use the region closest or supported by mine?

Kies will only update if you currently have a firmware/CSC combination that matches your region, and your region is officially supported. That is not likely now that you followed that "fix an unflashable or soft bricked" guide. Also, if you are in a non-supported region, Kies won't work for updates either. For example, I am an I9100 user in the USA, where it was never officially released, so Kies doesn't work for me for updates.
But now that you've followed that guide, you are familiar with flashing your phone yourself, and can use the Official i9100 Firmware thread to download and flash whatever version you want. No need to rely on Kies.

Excellent - this is becoming very interesting. My region was supported (Namibia) but I bought it in Germany. I see the latest release date firmware actually includes a German version. Those the region actually change the language of the phone as well?

You can choose any language that is included in the firmware after you flash it. Most, if not all, will include English and German.

The stock kernel is linked in case you need it. It is also included in the full firmware package. But if you root with an insecure kernel, or flash a different kernel that auto-roots, and for whatever reason want to flash back a stock kernel, it is there for you.

I think there is, but I don't know what the method is, as I've never had to do this, and have not been curious enough about it to research it for myself.
You don't have to grab any thing! Just see what very she has and you will find it in Sammobile or Intratech's thread or general forum.

Try Link2SD instead of A2SD. You can use Link2SD even with FAT32 partition on your SD card.
Link2SD is available on Google Play.

Unknown CSC

Well, after flashing some roms, I got this message right now (*#1234#)
AP: I9300UBALE6
CP: I9300UBLE6
CSC: unknown
This ROM is at my SG3: Samsumg Stock: I9300UBALE6 / CSC I9300ZTOALE7
And the original one was CSC I9300ZTAALE6.

If you used MobileODIN, try reflashing the same ROM, but having the .md5 in the external SD card, not in the internal storage.
I had this issue once and that's what worked for me.
Anyhow, forget about the Brazilian ROMs (such as ZTO). They are all outdated already.
Get one from NEE (new) or ITV (newest). They are better, newer, leaner and work flawlessly in Brazil (and yes, they both contain Brazilian Portuguese).
may I ask you to show me which one (ITV) should I use? Or just tell me what country I should look for in checkfus!
Thanks !!

Raphael, if you're going to use the non-GUI version of CheckFus Downloader, this is the command line to get it:
Code:
CheckFusDownloaderCmd.exe -dl I9300XXALF6/I9300ITVALF1/I9300XXLF5/I9300XXALF6 ITV GT-I9300
Otherwise, for the GUI version, just copy/paste the parts below in the "Firmware info" of CheckFus Downloader 2.1:
Product Code: GT-I9300MBDITV
PDA: I9300XXALF6
CSC: I9300ITVALF1
Phone: I9300XXLF5
then click on "Check Firmware" and then "Download".
it was not so easy to find it in checkfus...I didn't find in gui version, and on nongui I downloaded, but after the download the program crashes and broke the file. 3 times.
But I found it at Sammobile, downloaded and already flashed! Thank you again!
Mine's also says CSC Unknown... I'm on Official JB Polish rom... do I have to flash that CSC package?? But what is the one correspondent to the Official JB Polish??
I have the same thing after the Polish ROM. Does having an unknown CSC actually matter for any reason?
Threads seem to indicate that it doesn't, and my phone is working normally, but maybe I'm missing something obvious.
CSC may play a part if your network has fast dormancy .
CSC essentially contains a list of network setting for local areas .
Example
<Country>UK & IRE</Country><CountryISO>GB</CountryISO><Region>EUR</Region><SalesCode>BTU</SalesCode><NbNetworkInfo>20</NbNetworkInfo>-<NetworkInfo><MCCMNC>23410</MCCMNC><NetworkName>O2 UK Pay Monthly</NetworkName></NetworkInfo>-<NetworkInfo><MCCMNC>23410</MCCMNC><NetworkName>O2 UK Pay & Go</NetworkName></NetworkInfo>-<NetworkInfo>
CSC code is part of the HDSWVER code that is used for Kies /Ota updates if anyone actually uses that route .

You have corrupted CSC, Flash the rom again in Odin as CSC, i.e. put the MD5 file in CSC instead of PDA and it will fix the problem.
You have better reset your firmware by using "Firmware Upgrade And Initialization" in your Samsung KIES 2.5.0.12114_1.
You don't need a correct CSC for your phone as it will just download the firmware for you according to the serial number you provided to the software. However, please back up your phone first as it may delete all your data.
Is there a way to fix this WITHOUT resetting? I didn't encounter it until recently. I assume it's something related to using Mobile Odin, but not sure.

I am not sure about that. Maybe you just try to download the CSC corresponding to your firmware version and flash it with odin, but I don't know if it will reset your phone.
Anyone who really does know how to fix this (or if it is even necessary)?
I also had this problem. Reflashing the firmware again fix it for me.

Reflashed via desktop Odin, rooted via Chainfire's latest root method. Reset. Flashed CWM touch. Device status is Normal and CSC is correct.
Just for future reference, in case anyone searches for this later. This was the actual problem.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1950082
Simply reflashing the ROM via Mobile Odin and allowing the stock recovery to be flashed solved it. Flash the CWM recovery later, if you want it.
Works like a charm.

Problem with my GS2

Hello guys I would really appreciate if somebody can help me out.
I flashed original stock Rom from this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1544487
I9100XWLPG Download (Thanks To SamMobile!)
Base Firmware: I9100XWLPG (4.0.3)
Region: Europe
Country Nordic countries
Carrier: Unbranded
Build Date: 24 May 2012
Modem: XXLPX
CSC: NEELP4
Change List: 619441
CF-Root 5.5 LPG: Download
edit: I just checked my Amazon account and this is the phone that I bought:
https://www.amazon.com/gp/css/order...=1&opt=ab&qid=&search=103-8711617-6477001&sr=
please tell me which one from the versions in the thread that I posted link is the right one for me
I flashed this because in my settings it was saying that my baseband is: XXLPX
now my phone is able to go into Download mode but it cannot load up.
It just stays on the: S logo and it says Samsung Galaxy S II
cannot load up I waited for it for like 1 hour
I'm not a lamer I flashed through ODIN 3.04 clicked on PDA.
To be honest I'm not sure if this is the right firmware for my phone because like I said the only thing that navigated me to this move was the information in my: About phone Menu before I flashed.
My phone was Rooted before I do that (don't know if that makes a difference but I just wanna give the maximum information that I have)
Please somebody help me out I don't know what to do.
I live in USA I bought the phone from Amazon it was factory unlocked and that's why I don't know where did the phone come from.
Please help, thank you guys

Baseband/Modem(in ur case XXLPX) has nothing to do in selecting the right Firmware ma8, what really matters is the 'Build number' which u should have checked for in ur earlier firmware
if u can enter into recovery mode ( using Volup+ home + pwrbutton combo) then in recovery do a wipe data/factory reset, then reboot and see, if it doesnt resolve ur issue, then do reflash the Stock firmware once again from 'Odin' and see
