now my question:
Is 3G working on pershoot's CM9 nightly for indian region/ or base band can be changed from within ROM itself / or is it common for all countries???
if it is possible to change base band on any ROM than please guide me...

Now I use the JIKI2 modem from my stock rom (Israel - Cellcom), and I'm not so happy with the battery life and the reception..
I was looking for the JIKI2 miui modem everywhere..
Where can I find I9100 MIUI/CM modems??

CM7 doesn't replace your modem when you flash it, you retain whichever one you were using prior to install.
I flashed the KL1 modem from there on the latest MIUI and now I am getting "no service." I stupidly didn't back up the original one so does anyone know what modem the the Dec 2 update uses? Or does it retain your previous one like CM7?

I'm looking to try out the latest Oxygen ROM since popdog changed it over to the new baseband. I noticed there's an issue with data being anabled when toggling between 2g and 3g and APN settings not being saved. Just wondering if this is a problem with the default CM7 kernel being used or if it's a problem with the ROM itself?

Thanks for the link. I'm assuming this means that I can just use the Franco kernel in the meantime and I shouldn't be affected by this bug? (Relative noob here in case it wasn't already obvious )

Sorry if the question has already been asked.
I wonder whether it is possible to select only one band on ICS Passion 13.1 version.
It used to be possible on Froyo ROMs but secret codes do not seem to be compatible with ICS.
I would like to be able to only select 1700 (well known issue with devices working on Wind/Mobilicity)
What would be the options: flash a different ROM, radios ? Else ?

Hi I have recently seen that flashing cyanogenmod changes the modem. I was thinking of installing the stable version of cm9 but I couldn't find anywhere for which region the baseband that comes with the rom is thought. I don't wanna have to flash basebands and mess up with stuff.

I am pretty sure GPS will not work, there may be other problems that I don't remember.
Im having troubles with jb radio i cant use hspa with ics worked perfect

Here is a couple hybrid modems if you would like to try them. One is .33/.84 is a mix of an older and newer N4 modems. The other is based on AT&T jb with latest N4 added in. Not sure if they will help with your issues but I don't have any other answers to offer.

I tried them but nothing i still cant use 3g only edge but i flash cyanogenmod 10.2 and 3g works with that rom what can i do to fix stock rom??
