Hi guys, sorry for my english, I'm brazilian. In last weekend installed the cyanogenMod9 on my galaxy W. Everything went well with the installation, but I'm having trouble with an app (Navitel). In the original version (that came on my phone (2.3 gingerbread)) I had installed Navitel (U paid $ 40.00 for it) and was running 100%. Now with cyanogenMod9 installed the app again, but the phone does not recognize that I already paid for the app. I put the "security key" file (. Txt) in the correct folder and it did not work. Could anyone help me???
Remove all traces of the app, then re-download it from the store.

Already did that, when I installed the new room (cyanogenmod9) had to install the app, because no one came to her store and installed the play did not work.
Is this the app? If yes, they do not claim to even have Brazil maps, yet, according to their website.
Is this app yes, this app rotates maps of Brazil yes, so I bought it.
They told me that when I change the room my phone the app identify what a "new device" and "activation key" I have this encrypted to my original room, so it is not being recognized in the new room, is it true?
Fill out this form.
Yes, this is the way to solve the problem. Already got in touch and am awaiting feedback.
I have another question: the original rom came installed Polaris Office and the Swype keyboard has cyanogenmod9 on how to install? I tried to get the installers in the "system" folder and install the app and cyanogenmod9 not work correctly.

Ok. I bought this G Tab knowing that I would have to install ROMs, tweak .prop files, NVFlash, CWM, RootExplorer, etc. No problem there.
But now I have had it with this new Market. Many (if not most) applications are showing as incompatible with my tablet even though I already installed them. My beloved Word With Friends now requires an update, but I can not install it from the Market as the new Market believes the app is incompatible with my ROM. That is the last draw as I cannot play it anymore.
So does anybody have a market.zip that has Market 2.3.6 so I can go back to the old market? I have the .apk files but I think I need something that could install via CWM (BL 1.2) since all the apks do not work if you install them by themselves (they all FC). I would freeze market updater so it does not upgrade again to 3.x.
Thanks

Installed the GAPPS and it did not install the market. Tried uninstalling Market and Market updater first and still no go.
It looks like something is blocking the old market from being installed. I extracted it and installed it myself but it then FC everytime it started.
Very frustrating. This is the kind of crap that is going to kill android. It just looks like Google is purposedly trying to lock out aftermarket ROMs from accessing Market apps.
This happens to me frequently. The solution Ive found is to stop the market and clear data. After this is done, launch the market and youll no longer get the error. Sometimes Ill have to do this 3-4 times a day. Good luck.
Interestingly enough, I think I got a workaround. Through some investigation, I found out that the problem was that many apps were being filtered because of the screen resolution. So I started working with the density property in the build.prop to find out if there was a magic number that will make things work like they used to. It appears that I did find that number and it is 160.
So I updated the build.prop line with Root Explorer:
qemu.sf.lcd_density=160
After that I cleared the Market app data and the Google Services Framework data. Rebooted and everything that was previously installed seems to be recognized and the applications started updating again.
I've searched the threads but cannot find anything regarding the specific problems i've been having. I am running cm 7 on my gtab. Whenever I search themarket for certain apps I fund th he app but there isn't a linkto install. I've tried the market fix but no luck. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions? Thank you in advance.
Me too
I have the exact same problem. In my case, it's Skype I can't install. Which sucks because it used to work until I tried to "upgrade" it.
Appreciate any pointers you may have.
Hi Everyone,
I also have the same issue, on some app's. that I want to install, there isn't any download button available, all I see is a yellow block with the notice that the app. isn't compatible with my device, isn't that what everybody else sees ?
David
I have noticed this is the different GB ROMs and the new Market. I have been restoring from Titanium backup, but would also like to see this fixed.
I have been using black Mart alpha to find most of the app..... You can find black mart alpha if you download gmob and browse through the application section.
Downloaded the black market alpha app. and installed it, it does work..but some of the app's. available aren't current..thanks.
David
Hey mates, yesterday I upgraded to HoneyComb 3.0.1 , since then I cannot install any app grom Google market, it says downloading but it displays that for hours...it happens with all apps, I've tried to reboot and nothing...
blackmart app installion
How to install paid and unpaid apps through blackmart on rooted or unrooted device when install button does not work.
1-go to blackmart and download your desired app
2-restart your phone and go to system recovery by holding volume up + home + power buttons
3-select option for wipe cache partition
4=reboot your device
5-goto blackmart
6-select the app you already downloaded
7-install it, it will work
You have to follow above steps for each app you want to download. It is annoying but that’s the only way I found so far.
I've searched the forum extensively and didn't find anything like this. Hopefully someone can help.
using InParisV5 rom.
I'm trying to use the samsung app for the app store.
When I run the app it wants to update. It does it successfully but then opens a dialog box asking what language to use and it only lists 1 (I think it's chinese by the symbols)
If I cancel then it just doesn't run. if I select ok it runs but it is in chinese.
I tried uninstalling the app (v3.10.115)
also uninstalled SamsungAppsUNA2.2.0.19
also uninstalled com.sec.android.app.samsungapps.com.una
After re-installing the V3 I get the same result. If I just install the UNA2.2 I don't see the app listed so i guess that isn't the app itself. (can u tell i'm a noob?)
Any ideas on how i can get the USA langusge option. (I do tell it USA on the initial install but when it updates that's when the problem arises).
Hi there
I hope someone can help me or give me a pointer. The short story is that Google Play has reverted to the Android Market (v2.3.4) and I can't download anything from the Market.
The longer story is this...
I have a Samsung Galaxy S2, bought sim-free over a year ago, running Android 2.3.3. Yesterday I had a problem with Google Play not being able to download some apps. This was clearly wrong: I had 1.5GB free of 16GB. In the course of trying to fix this (ha!), and trying to find recovery mode, I borked the device further. Google Play reverted to Android Market v2.3.4, and some apps got messed up in random ways and consistently crashed. I uninstalled some of the crashing apps, but I still cannot download anything from the Market in order to reinstall them.
I've cleared cache and cleared data for various apps and services: Market, Download Manager, Google Play Services (odd that that's still there), Google Services Framework, and maybe some others.
The problem with the Market is that when I touch to download an app it readies itself for the download (moving diagonal lines on the progress bar) and then the progress bar disappears as if it's finished. There is no download, and certainly no install, but no error message either. On the other hand my web-based Google Play account says I've just downloaded it. And meanwhile my web-based Google Play account says there are no devices associated with my account.
Given the situation with Market, I can't even download something like MarketFixer which may help. I can sideload apks, but I can't find a (legitimate-looking) apk like MarketFixer to download.
I've never rooted my device, so I don't expect to have to do that to fix this. Before do a factory reset, does anyone have any ideas?
Many thanks
Nik
Update: Solved in thread below
ah darn!! i thought i could help you, up until the point where you said you didn't root . If you rooted then you could just install the latest version of google play

Thanks for even thinking of that, dragid10.
Hmm... theoretically, if I routed, where would I get the latest version of Google Play from? I can't access the Market, after all.
There are a few threads in the apps forum here on XDA one is http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1932489
I also don't think you need to be rooted to install it. Just make sure you turn on unknown sources from settings(either under applications or security)
Also have you tried uninstalling updates for the market or removing your Google account from your phone and re-adding it.
Edit:Updated thread URL original one was a closed thread.

nsmith4, thank you. That's moved me a bit forward. I couldn't find a Google Play apk, and now I've got Google Play back on my device, and the web version of Google Play knows about my device again.
(I did try to delete my Google account and it refused me. It said it was needed by some applications and should do a factory reset instead!)
So now it seems I'm back to my original problem: I (still) can't download any apps from Google Play because it says (wrongly) there's insufficient space on device. I shall keep looking for an apk of MarketFixer or similar. This problem is now the same as the one reported here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1436188
although of course I cannot download MarketFix to help me fix the market.
Update: That install of Google Play didn't stick. When I rebooted the phone it took me through the Android initiation process (asked for Google username and password) and Market was back in place of Play.
Looks like a problem with factory resetting every time you restart. That is a bigger problem. Google Play will automatically update itself (all update to com.android.vending will).
Try taking the ICS update (if you haven't already), you need a fresh install of the OS. Or you can root and install a ROM. Same thing

You say you "borked the device further". The question is, what happened? What did you do, and what got borked, in what way? If you don't even know, then it will be difficult or impossible to repair. The easiest and fastest solution will be to install a fresh ROM, like Gagdude said.

gagdude, post-mortem: No, I didn't keep a careful record of what I did. The "borking" is a combination of the problems listed above. I'm going to do a factory reset and upgrade to ICS, as suggested, thanks. Will keep you posted.
Mid-point update: Successfully factory reset my phone (Volume up + Power on, factory reset, then reboot). Now my SIM card isn't recognised (sigh).
The same problem, but with a different device, is here:

It appears as if my modem software is messed up. The saga continues.
Solved! SIM working again.
...And miraculously it's solved!
I flashed a new ROM onto the device -- ICS, which is very shiny and new to me -- using Odin, and it came back to life perfectly. Useful links were:

Hello guys!
Does anyone have a car with MyLink system and can't use the BringGO GPS System because your smartphone is incompatible with the app?
So here is my history... my girlfriend have a Onyx with MyLink and she bought a LG Optimus G and was sad because the app isn't compatible with her smartphone.
Today I bought and installed it (BringGo Brazil) on my Motorola Atrix and showed her its working on her car.
Then she asked me why my old phone works and her new one not.
I told her that's because the compatibility thing and etc... then she say: make it work on my phone and just laugh.
Then I have the idea: get the .apk file from my Atrix and install on her Optimus G.
I downloaded the App Backup & Restore and backed up the bringgo apk.
Sent it to Optimus G and installed.
Then the first surprise: it told me I can't download the resources because I didn't bought the application (with her gmail account).
That's fine, I would need to buy that app from Google Play, but... HOW? it doesn't appear on Google Play in her Optimus G.
Then I had the second idea: put her gmail account on my Atrix and buy the BringGo Brazil with her account. Note: I just added her account on my Atrix, but I bought the APP from Google Play on computer, because it was already installed on Atrix.
On computer, I bought the app BringGo Brazil and choose my Motorola Atrix to install.
Then I back to her Optimus G and opened the BringGo Brazil again.
Second surprise: it works!!! It was working and I create an account for her and everything was okay... until...
Third surprise: while downloading the map files, when decompressing, it gave me a lot of errors, then I downloaded it again and again... and again... and again... if I remember, it was about 10 times. Every time it downloaded and tried to decompress, the progress bar was increasing, showing that it will work...
Fourth surprise: it works!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Okay, if you read everything, you don't need another guide, right?
If you don't, here we go:
GUIDE:
1 - Get a smartphone that you can download the BringGo you will use (there is alot of versions, USA & CAN, 2 Europes, AU & NZ, Korea, China, Brazil, etc...)
2 - In this smartphone you will need to add you gmail account that you USE in your main smartphone. (Note: if you plan to remove your account from that smartphone, you should backup the current rom because your account can't be removed until factory reseted.)
3 - Buy, download and install the BringGo you want.
4 - Download and install the app "App Backup & Restore".
5 - Open the App Backup & Restore and backup the BringGo apk.
6 - With a file manager or whatever, copy that backup .apk and send it to your MAIN Smartphone.
7 - Install in your Main smartphone the BringGo app and create an account.
8 - Install the map files and PROFIT. (if you have problem to decompress the map files, redownload the maps again and again, it will works, believe me!)
Hope you guys will like the guide and will be happy again with your MyLink working with GPS now
Not bad for the first thread, uh?
NOTE: who try the trick, please report if it worked for you!

I did this before I saw your guide.
I confirm that it works, I used "device spoofer" on my Samsung Galaxy S4 to be able to download is directly from the play store. It worked fine. however, once installed the app still recognizes the device not to be a "compatible one" and restricts some of the functions such as latest map download etc...
But it is acceptable for now. Until they provide more device support. If ever.
Hi everyone,
I used the following way to connect my Lg Optimus G with my Cruze Mylink System (although the bring go guys informed me that my device isn't supported from technical point of view).
You have to:
- root your device (following tutorials wide available via internet)
- use an apk which changes your device name on the google market - I used Device Spoofer - none other apk worked for me from what I tried (I tried with Market Helper but without success)
- after you choose a compatible device (I chose the Samsung Galaxy S2), you can go to google play from your desktop/laptop, press install on the supported device and after paying the apk it will be downloaded to your phone
I got an update on the phone after the application was downloaded (so, it should auto update without problems).
I also checked after installation the app on the car, and I tried to go on my home city in Romania on a street in which the drive signs were recently changed (2-3 weeks ago) and the update included it as well - so, I think it can help everyone on this issue.
Good luck.
If you need some support on the same or similar hardware as mine, give me an email. I will be glad to help you out

please can any one attached the apk?

Hi,
I don't know what apk you are talking about. You need to use 2 apks.
The one for spoofing the device is free on Play store.
The Bring Go application is 1$ on Play Store. I can't help you with this apk file. I tried downloading it from the Play store but without success.
There are some apk versions on the internet but I haven't managed to download them.
Cheers
