Has anyone seen the 32/64 gig Note 2 - AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note I717

Hey I really want a gn 2 but I need more space than 16gig. Has anyone seen a 32/64gig gn2 with any of the american carriers? I can't seem to find anything but the 16gig unit.
Thanks

I don't think they are even for sale yet..
Why not just buy a 32g memory card? Then you have a 48 gig..

Or you could get a 64gb card since it is supported.

I think they are counting on you keeping your data in a cloud, like their new "S Cloud" instead of on the phone.

I'm fairly certain Samsung will not be offering different internal memory Note II variants in the states. So 16GB is your only option unless you pony up some money and buy a microSD card. And considering how cheap you can get one if you do proper research, I'd rather do that than pay for an overpriced model with expanded internal memory. My Note has 80GB of memory with 15GB internal and 64GB external using a microSD card. No complaints.

Can this phone support the Sandisk 32GB Micro SD Card?
I dont belive so. Im pretty sure I read somewhere on here that the phone would only recognize up to 16gb card.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
of course it will. external SD is expandable up to 32 gb.....what the hell were you reading?
Alright.. So one person is telling me no, the other is saying yes? Any other comments on this??
32gb works for me

Yes it will work. If for some reason it doesn't work then you can always return it

As long as you get a 32GB card from a credible source (not the $15 ebay one) then everything will be fine.

Yeah from what I hear buying from the Verizon site is the best deal around. I would be all over that if I needed it (8GB is more than enough for me) or at least had the spare cash.
Amazon has great deals i was looking at a 16g for 27.99. I mean we already have 16 of internal. I think 16 external would be a good amount dont you think.?

Well I look at it this way.. It is actually 14GB Internal and 2GB Micro right now (Is what comes stock)
If I purchase the 32GB Card then you can add it up (32+14=46GB)
I personally would have allot of music on mine..
32 gig will work fine. You'll just have a like the biggest capacity seen on a phone for now..
After this post, The XDA app probably forced closed from my froyo lacking Vibrant
I'm using a 32gb Sandisk w/o any issues.
Yea I mean everybody has different use for them some people like watching movies on there phone or having a lot of music. Personally I think ill just get a 16g or 8 but that's just me if you want 32 that would be awesome.! )

Micro SD slot?

Sorry guys, I know this is a bad question but, does the sgs3 have a SD card slot + the 16 or 32 GB? Pretty sure it does but need a quick answer.
I currently own a galaxy nexus an through my gf upgrade, I can. Get the sgs3 for $100. Long story short, she was unhappy with her 4g incredible an is out of the 14 day return an she doesn't want to exchange it with anything else because the other phones are too big. But Verizon would cut us a deal on the 16 GB. That's not enough but if I can add more storage via a SD slot, then I'll go through.

Yeah, there's a microsd slot.

Just to amend what ClubDownforce said, it supports microsdxc, up to 64gb max. You could top out at 80gb of storage on a 16gb model, and 128gb total on a 64gb model if you wait for those to be released.

Rumors are 64gb is cancelled.
No reason for a phone that big if you can upgrade already.

I'm in best buy and as I expected, very fast answers. I'm just not sure I want to give up my nexus for the sgs3. The locked boot loader worries me an primarily, the time it takes for it to get JB. I'd be getting the Verizon version.

Its still on.

NO app to SD!!

Been looking forward to seeing the reviews on the Verizon version of this phone. No more early adapter/tester for me.
Glad I waited before pre-ordering the 16gb version.
There is no app to SD with this phone! ALL apps reside in internal memory. Which works out to about 11gb available on this 16gb release.
I'm pretty sure it's a Jellybean thing.
Gonna' wait on the 32gb or 64gb models. Screw all this "Cloud" bs.
I'll make due with what I have for now...
Pretty sure there is no 32/64 gig option coming for the States...

You're probably right desantim. I think I'm just gonna' sit tight for awhile and see how this goes.
I'll be buying my next device for full price to keep my unlimited and ain't gonna jump the gun.
Obtaining root would allow us to remedy this issue. I am not concerned.

This. Already ordered a Sandisk Ultra 32GB card. I should be fine. Also unless you plan on getting a bunch of big games, you should be fine with 11GB anyways.

Memory Card

I've been career HTC guy, and have never had a phone with expandable memory slot. I'm getting ready to switch back to Verizon, and am looking at phones in there lineup. I currently have the ONE but the battery has made me look elsewhere.
Here is my question. As stupid as it may be, I apologize, I've just never had to deal with this.
If I buy the 16gb variant and buy a 16gb card, will my phone perform as well as a 32gb phone would to begin with? Are there specific things I cannot put on SD card?
I know, basic crap, but I haven't had ANY experience with this. Thanks
Sent from my HTC One using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
Not really because half of the phone's storage space is taken up by the OS and pre-installed apps.
Tappin' and talkin' with Tapatalk.
32gb is the way to go IMO. I waited it out and now have 32gb on board + 64gb card for music, pictures, backups and the like. It really all depends on how you use your phone, but I wish for higher capacity cards myself.

SD card issues

I bought a 64 gig Samsung class 10 when I got my s5 and all was good for a month, but then my pictures started getting corrupted and my songs stopped playing. Same issue with my g3, so today I decided to do the long format using the hp format tool. 2 hours later it finished and now my as card won't even register in my phone. I formatted to fat32.
Just hoping it's not garbage. Any help with a possible fix or way of checking if it's toast?

use mini partition tool to recover and repair SD data on desktop
I already lost all data from the card, from the format. Will the tool fix a possible issue with the card as well?

try to test cards with h2testw software, there are a lot of fake cards around!
I thought it was too cheap to be legit but I figured I give it a try. My fault for being cheap. Any recommendations for a good 32-64 gig card.

Actually Samsung makes some of the better cards. I would also recommend Kingston and Corsair for a SDCard because they make the best computer memory.
One company I would avoid is Patriot. Their stuff is slow and buggy with craptacular tech support.
What's a good company to buy from so I don't get another fake?

BestBuy
Newegg.com
Frys.com
TigerDirect.com
Fry's retail
These will be NEW ones always and not take the chance of getting a used one like you can on Amazon or a referb.
I have auf samsung 64 GByte for my sgs1
Works fine, but only my sgs1 can read/write it.
Every cardreader donot recognize the card.
Any idea?
If the card is cheap, then it is probably a fake.
Instead of 64GB, there are only 8GB
Even if my computer reads it as 64gigs I never had that much on it though because my pictures would start becoming corrupted and any music stored on it wouldn't play back. I'll just have to wait till I get back to work and buy a 32 gig Samsung pro or something similar at best buy.

Hope not. Samsung original and my sgs1 says 64 GByte.
And works fine and quick.
The 32GByte, also samsung, works fine too and all card-readers can read/write on it.
If sgs1 is conneted to pc the 64 GByte card can be used.
I buy new from amazon.com (*not* from a reseller), free 2-day shipping with Prime & a solid return policy. I generally buy Sandisk cards, haven't had any issues yet.
