How do I check my RUU version? - HTC Rezound

Relative newbie here.
What's the best way to verify my RUU version? The only reason I ask is because I originally installed the 314.605.5 RUU leak and then installed Nils business ROM and my build number now says 4.03.605.2. Where else could I check to verify my RUU version ?
Any input would be much appreciated.

If your s-on check your baseband/radios they will be 2.22.blahblah.. if that's your radio and your hboot is 2.27 then youd seem to be on the latest.. buy as you said about which ruu you ran it not the global version..

The wiki page has a list of RUUs and the hboot and baseband versions for each one.

HELP.Problem updating to jelly bean

Hi,
I have HTC evo 4g lte. I had the latest version of MeanRom installed on the phone and everything was
working. Today I decided to upgrade to BeanRom and followed the instructions in this post:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2048229
My phone information:
Ulocked Jewel S-on
hboot - 1.15
radio 1.05.11.0606
In the instructions it said:
if your radio baseband is less than 1.12.11.1119, you have to update to 1.12.11.1119 before flashing any of these firmwares.
My version was lower so I tried to install the 3.15.651.16 JellyBean OTA "Full" Firmware zip through TWRP v 2.4.1.0 but it was getting an error:
it said FAILED. (maybe because of S-ON)
I decided to install the Boot.img Only (signed) using HBOOT. This worked, it installed.
My phone doesn't boot into MeanRom anymore and I am not sure what to do next. It says before I can install 3.16 I should install full version of 3.15.
Please help. Thank you.

You should have gotten s-off rather than spending so much time trying to work around it.

Without S-off I don't know how you're going to update firmware other than relock and ruu. I'm not real familiar with that, I'm S-off. Good luck. Post in Q&A
From my Evo LTE, yup.

RUU New Hboot wrong baseband versions.

I have this weird issue where I am on Hboot version 2.27, but somehow my raids are out of date. I understand the process to update both but not one at a time. From what I remember you cannot run the RUU or is the same ph98img if you are already in the hboot your updating to. Does anyone know how to just update the radios? If you need more info check Stangs CM thread in the Q&A section of the forums it is the first question asked in that thread. Stang provided and answer but was not 100 percent sure if his solution was correct can anyone confirm our send me in the right direction. Thanks in advance

I've never heard anything about not running an RUU that's the same hboot as your current one. A lot of people run it just to get back to stock.
I just ran the global RUU, flashed a custom ROM, then ran the same global RUU and reflashed the same custom ROM because for some reason after the first ROM flash my baseband info was showing up as "unknown" in my phone.
I'm s-on if that makes any difference, but my understanding of it is that it wouldn't.

[Q] Moonshine S-OFF Issue

I was trying to S-OFF my HTC One using moonshine's method but could not get it to work properly.
As you will see from the screen shot (attached), its stuck there and doesn't go further.
I have gone over the guide multiple times. Fast boot is unchecked , USB debugging is checked, ADB and fastboot drivers are working.
I am currently using a T-Mobile version HTC one with the following software information:
Android Version: 4.1.2
HTC Sense version: 5.0
Software Number: 1.27.531.11
HTC SDK API Level: 5.12
Baseband version: 4A.17.3250.20_10.40.1150.04L
Can somebody here guide me what I am doing wrong or missed out something ?
You can't s-off. If you want to know more just use the search function or Google. This has been discussed many times in many threads.

Pretty sure u need soff to do super cid
Or anything further than just unlock and root.
You may be able to flash the older 1.27.531.8 Rom and then try it since the bootloiader wasn't updated.
If your on 1.27.531.11 you have to downgrade with a Rom or ruu
Don't quote me but I think people have don'e this to get soff

[Q] Stuck Need Help!!!!!!

Hi, my rezound was rooted running cm 10.1 liquid smooth and i am upgrading to the droid maxx soon so i relocked my boot loader go the ruu from androidpolice.com (ics) and attempted flashing in hboot but it says (hboot version too old update failed) my hboot version is 2.28 and im s-on.
You have to run an RUU that is the same version as your hboot. You can't run an older RUU on an s on phone. There's no downgrading when you're s on.

i know but i need the ruu all of them ive tried so far dont work
Look in about phone/software/more or something close to that and post your baseband versions. I think it may be an OTA update that wasn't available as of early July in RUU version. You may have to unlock it and manually flash the stock Rom and recovery but I'll see if an RUU has been uploaded since then. Someone from the HTC Elevate program might have one lying around. That's where I usually see RUU's that haven't been available to the general public.

this is the android police site http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/0...cream-sandwich-ruu-for-final-ota-3-14-605-12/
http://androidforums.com/rezound-all-things-root/716364-newest-global-rom.html
That page in posts #3 and 4 has the info and link you need. Really you only need the recovery out of that set of stuff. But if you're s on you will need to flash the whole package. But you want to first flash the latest stock Rom that's available, if you're still on a cm10 Rom. That would be the first thing I do is get back to a stock sense Rom anyway. Then you can flash the stock firmware update which contains stock hboot, recovery, and radios.

You have the hboot provided from the last OTA update, there is no RUU out for it. Only way to revert is s-off your phone first.

[Q] Newbee trying to install a custom room, have s-off

I followed some videos on youtube and have the following:
Radio S-Off
4Ext latest
Rooted phone.
I am now venturing into custom ROMs, one thing I realized that I have not taken ANY OTAs in a at least a year and a half on my sprint EVO 3D. So, my System Info is as follows:
Android Version: 2.3.3
HTC Sense: 3.0
Software number: 1.13.651.7
HBoot 1.40
I was looking into Cool ICS Rom, but it says I need to have a newer firmware and HBoot 1.58
I am not sure how to upgrade my firmware?
Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks,
RoSahas.

This is what I am going to try and then install an ICS HBoot after the RUU:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=32174176&postcount=52
Try installing the firmware only zip of the latest ruu that should work 1.40 hboot shouldn't stop you from installing a ROM in fact I don't think any hboot can don't quote me on that

Okay hboot versions can be incompatible with different roms. Here is a general rule of thumb for cdma (sprint) 3d's. Latest firmware seems to work with every rom. Older firmware will not work with htc's ics roms.
Hboot 1.58 - works on htc's ics roms
Hboots 1.04-1.50 - works with htc's gingerbread roms and source built roms gb, ics, jb.
Now some of the custom htc ics roms will work with any hboot.
Always read the OP and check for requirements. FYI of you are s-off than you can change Hboots without much hassle. I will do a write up on hboot flashing.
Also if a rom wont boot or bootloops after installation it is most likely wrong hboot or you are using old firmware.
