Problem with broken touchscreen :crying: - Sony Ericsson Xperia Neo, Pro

Hey there guys!
I have a big problem with my Xperia Neo.My touchscreen is totally broken.it doesnt work on no place of the display.i already built out the touchscreen. Then i found a Programm called MyPhoneExplorer which would make it possible to control my phone via PC.
And heres my Problem.the Programm needs USB Debugging to be enabled.of course, its disabled on my phone.i havent rooted it or did anything else.its totally stock!
Is there a way to enable USB Debugging without touchscreen??????? :fingers-crossed:
Mfg and sorry for my bad english i am a idiot!

Thread has been moved to Q&A section. Let's double check where we are posting in the future please

For hardware faults, why don't you try sony service centre mate?
I mean since you haven't rooted or anything, you'll have your warranty too!

mr lumpistefan
i have posted many posts on the forums and have emailed you for help but you never seem to reply sir ,and you seem to be the only person who can actually help me if you can pls sir as i cannot get my wallaby working like i said ,,all i get is when i plug in the usb sync lead on my pc in device manager i get HTC USB SYNC ,,what ever flashing software i use it wont work it says please connect via active sync but i cant as i have no rom on pda also i have no bootloader to flash via sd card ,,and fix bootloader tool wont work either as it wont connect with pda or communicate
i no the device can be recovered because its still working just needs the software rom and bootloader back so if you can show me how to flash my pda back to life i would be very grateful ,i have checked continously on the entire forum for my problem and i coudnt find nothing related to it
I agree
Tends to be a common problem and I've been coming to the site for months looking for help and have yet to find it. Any help would be appreicated.
Hello pdaman.
Sorry, that you didn´t get an answer from me, but do not know any other solution than mentioned here in the forum. I think the device is stuck, because you don´t have access to the bootloader to flash a new ROM via SD, and you can´t repair your bootloader, because the device do not came up , so that you get an connection via ActiveSync.
I personaly do not know any other solution to reflash the device....
Stefan
maybe this for the bold and brave

i dont get it ,,,,if the device shows HTC usb sync in device manager and the device is working fine just needs bootloader and rom back how can you say i,m stuck ,,,i spoke to many pda engineers all quoting me around 30pounds sterling to fix it so it is possible to do so oh welll it seems 1000's of people using this forum hasnt come across htc usb sync before? when i check on google htc usb sync i see that the treo handset uses similar features theres even special rom flash software that communicates with my pda right now but again there for treo and i contacted the software developers but no reply
i am trying my best to find a cure for this ,,,i,m so glad my blueangel device isnt as crude as the wallaby as i destroyed the bootloader many times on my blueangel and recovered it in seconds but the wallaby is so delicate
i will keep everyone posted if i find a way of flashing a wallaby device while theres no bootloader and os on it and it shows HTC usb sync in device manager and if theres anyone out there reading this please please share it with us as i,m sure i am not the only one who has this problem
know that ur frustrated but if the Stefan said that he honestly dont know the solution than why blame him bcoz "device is stuck", he helped to a tons of people about software problems with wallaby and Im sure that he would help you too if he know the solution

What about future updates ? ...

Hi everybody, as you all may know, The Xperia X10 will (probably) be upgraded by sony ericsson ...
Ans as you all know, the USB Connector has a serial issue which is not repairable unless you've got money (and warranty). Mine is broken, so I can't connect it to my PC anymore, I've bought an external loader, but I won't be able to update my phone anymore, unless Sony release their uptaes OTA.
I was thinking about another way to flash future firmwares. It is possible to do it without any PC ? Just by copying some files on the sdcard and update the phone through the phone ? Or via Bluetooth connection ?
Sorry for my bad english. Hope a solution will appear.
Regards. Saldy.

It could be, but in fact The Xrecovery install failed (I checked all the requirements and all the step, I made it the right way). I'll give a try another time, I hope it'll be the solution I'm searching for.
Thanks .
I'll never buy a phone with a USB MINI 2.0 B-TYPE connector anymore.

[Q] Bricked After Omnius

Hi everyone
Be as nice as you can be this is my first post
So i tried to unlock my Xperia NEO with Omnius by changeing the certificate and using the paperclip trick test point etc but now my phone is dead nothing will read it atall apart from Omnius as a Zeus USB flash device. No lights on it nothing. I have done some searching around and found a post for a guy that might be bale to help with remote axx o his SETool Dongle but i wanted to check if this si the best solution or the only solution as there is not much I can find anyway about thisproblem !!!
any help would be much appreciated from the community.
Cheers
Did you try to connect from USB holding back key and then it will take green light. If it works you can flash it through x10flash.
Sent from my MT15i using XDA App
Hit the thanks if I help you.....
Yep tried the back button and connecting the USB it only recognises it as Zeus USB Device no lights thats why i`m stumped
Thanks for the replyany other help or advice would be apreciated.
sorry that not quite understand about your question, English is not my native language and the last sentences is so long that I can't get it....
Do you refer from this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1254416
I didn't tried that method though, but just guessing, please don't blame if wrong.
May be you install wrong driver somewhere so it detect as "Zeus USB flash device", because I see you need to install driver manually just after connect the testpin.
Try remove the device in device manager and re-install the driver, see if any better.

Hard Bricked - Please help

Hey guys! A week ago I bought a Ace 2 from ebay. It was still running 2.3.6 and I wanted to update it to 4.1.2. The firmware I used was a 4 part firmware. I think Re-Partition was checked. After the flash the screen turned black, the phone shows nothing and when I connect it with the PC it just shows U8500 USB ROM for 3 sec and then disconnects. I already tried it with a USB jig but it wont work and I cant buy a JTAG.
How can I fix it without sending it to Samsung or using a JTAG? (GT-I8160)
There's no way ... try to send a PM to user fluffi444, he has a riff-box, but i don't know if he still has it or if he's still willing to fix ace 2 phones from other users.
btw u created a thread in a wrong place, it should be here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-ace/ace-2-general
Oh you are right.. I should have posted it to Q&A
Anyway, are there no other ways? I mean maybe a debrick image or something like that
How should it work? Your Bootloader is broken, so u don't have access to the eMMC over the USB Port anymore.
Only JTAG access is now possible.
