How do I remove duplicate Contact Groups ?
there's no way to remove them in options !
I tried in Gmail but there were no duplicate entry Online.
Just shown in phone...

If there are no duplicate groups online, you may try removing the account from phone and add again
Weird, but it doesn't work, when i removed the account from phone, all the groups were removed, but when i restore it everything is back with duplicate groups

go to google contacts on your pc's browser and try.

ooops...my bad..
I flashed the new firmware (not bcoz of duplicate groups ) & Now the duplicate groups are not shown anymore.

I see where pictures draw a box around faces but I have to manually tag each one. I tried pretty clear cut pictures/faces but nothing is like autotagging. Is it only for social media or could I in theory go to my contacts, find a contact and have it find all pictures it found with that person tagged?

I tried to find the smart in this also - but without luck. I can only get it to work when you tag every single person on every single picture.........for me this feature must be a joke!!!!!

Just select "people" option and there you will find all the photos of the tagged person in his own folder
Recently I installed cyanogenmod 11 snapshot m9 on my xperia t. It works well, but after i have installed Facebook Messenger, my gallery is full of stickers's images. Example:

These images are in android/data/com.facebook.orca/files/stickers/casual numbers/casual numbers. They have webp extension. I deleted them, but when i turn on phone they are recreated. In stock rom i hadn't this problem. Is there a solution?

Hide the folder in your Gallery or use a different Gallery app. But I don't see how you would consider this a problem with the FB Messenger. It's not telling your Gallery app to display it's sticker folder. They're going to redownload everytime because the Messenger needs them and you gave it permission to do so when you installed the app.

Ok. I solve it. I create .nomedia file in the folder that i want to hide.

Hi thanks for your answer, i ve 4 android device samsung, sony and lg and it works good
But this chinaphone has not this kind of android! Maybe is a component or process not installed in this bad rom.
How can i do? Some apk for this?
normally the google apps and services for Android are delivered with the gapps for custom ROMs, which are typically device specific. dunno where u can get these for a china ROM, sorry.
Maybe i can flash gapps....
A while back I had set Hangouts to handle my SMS/MMS and recently noticed that there's no way to set the Messages app to handle that function anymore... when I go change the defaults, all it lists is Hangouts! anyone else see this?

that's the thing, I have the Messages app unfrozen and readily available... just can't switch to it! I've even wiped and re-installed the ROM!
Try uninstalling hangouts? Also you can reset app preferences in app manager. This should reset all default apps
