Welcome.
I'm new and I'm sorry for being badly write in English, and it may be that badly do not write in this section.
My question is, when will be available the official version of Android 4.1.2 for SGS2 JB?
I have now installed the trial version and I really like and I'm not that patient to have the official version.
I have one question-how will have to download the official version where and how can I download it?
Any day...everyone hopes. Download it from here or sammobile when it is released.

That's when Sammy/your carrier approves and releases an OTA update for JB I guess. You can flash a stable build through Odin once the first official build has been released.
Build and where this can be found?
Build and where this can be found?
It will appear in this forum when a stable build is released.
much like when the leaked JB test version leaked and you tested
Hope it aint gunna be like ICS release where the stock i9100 was released and was like 2 more months before the i9100P version was released.
For all of our sakes I hope it comes out soon, the lock screen bug is starting to get to me.

It will take much less time than the gingerbread to ics update though, since a major portion of the platform was already laid down as a foundation in ics, jelly bean is merely incremental

I suggest you skip 4.1.2 due to media scanner bug which will drain your battery in no time whenever you reboot your phone. Some people advised disabling media scan service but I can tell you it's not the best solution. Google has more or less fix it in 4.2 release.

While this is true, your typical I9100 ROM will probably NOT have NFC support built in. So if you flash it to your I9100P, chances are good you will not have NFC anymore. May or may not make a difference to you.

.... Probably? Only Samsung can officially answer that question.
EDIT: So if Samsung DOES officially release ICS through Kies (which by all indications, chances are quite good), you're still probably going to have to wait until they decide that your region is going to get it. This is one of the many reasons I've spurned using Kies. Kies is also somewhat unreliable for me. It only decided that my phone was connected to the computer about 1 out of 4 times. I much prefer using Odin and flashing the firmware myself.
Flashing an ICS Rom is the best thing that you can do to your phone. I know NFC probably is not going to work at first, but do you realy use it?

Wireless payments, sharing etc etc will be big soon.
Rolling out in the UK this year so for example you can pay for small money purchases in shops by flashing your phone to a receiver. Bit like the oyster card on the London underground.

Hey, i want to know when the Rollout of the Android 4.0.3 for the I9100G started in Germany.
I flashed a Costum Rom on my I9100G because the Stock Rom was sticky.
Now i cant use Kies Software to check if the new ICS is availible.
Maybe some people can post wich device they have and when the ICS is availible.
Whats the easiest way to flash a rom that can connect to keys and is update-able via Kies? Do i have to do the complete steps like in the "Warranty Restore" threads?

I have wiped all data and wiped over and again
Here's the problem. You have an ics ROM and you're trying to flash a gingerbread ROM directly over it, thinking you will get that kernel and be able to overclock. I would slow down before you brick your new phone. Do some reading. Flash an ICS ROM that allows overclocking. Either that, or do some research on available kernels and what ROMs those kernels are compatible with. Good luck.

Ok so what I gather is you have an ICS kernal and want that with a GB ROM. If that's the case, what is your actual goal as I'm not sure what you want is feasible. If its ICS ROM you want, check out FJ ICS build 6. That will OC all day long and its fast and reliable. Otherwise, just flash SauROM 7.0 then 7.1 on top. Do you want me to post the links to each ROM?

Conclusion everyone got their own choice
You have to remember that despite this being XDA Developers forum we have a lot of new users that are somewhat lost and think this is a Samsung update forum .
jje
You have 3 options:
- stick with original roms updated through ota or kies. You keep your warranty
- use official rom's from other countries. Risk of problems is as low as sticking to original when reading carefully
- use aftermarket firmwares which have different features.
Now decide on that, then proceed =)

1) Why make two threads ? (two issues doesn't count as a good reason, btw. Easy to include both questions in one thread. There's enough crap on here as it is).
2) Nobody can tell you what's going to run stably on your phone. Everyone's phone is setup differently. Try some different roms out & see what works well for you (easy to do once your phone is rooted/is running a kernel with CWM, makes backing up & restoring if you don't like a rom you try a 5 minute job).
You can get stock ICS firmware from Samfirmware, here or get the PC version of Checkfus (search for it on here/Google) which will enable you to download stock firmwares by country/carrier (as well as some country specific unbranded ones).
Thank you
Sorry for making two threads.. I'll be more carefull next time

For stock,4.0.3 is more hassle free than 4.0.4.A lot of people still use GB because ICS doesnt run as it should on their phones.
I use either GB or custom setup(rootbox/dreamkernel).
People make the mistake of seeing an update an adopting the "must have" philosophy.
Do what Mistah"MountAthos"Bungle says and experiment or wait a little bit for JB.
What i meant by update os that the XXLQ has alot of bugs and i want to update to a new firmware withcless bugs

Havent you read the replies.
Update means go forward(so that rules out GB,doh).
Your on 4.0.3,so that leaves 4.0.4,custom rom or wait for JB.
If you think 4.0.4 is going to be better, then install it.......lol
I suggestr you read a little more carewfully next time because you missed an import forum rule.
DO NOT POST A "What's the best ROM/Kernel/Theme?" THREAD!
