Hi--
I've been looking for several days in this forums and all across the internet for a way to do the following. I love my SGS, I've tried several ROMs but I'm kinda OK with the stock ICS. But there's something I don't like and it's the dark enviroment of the phone. I'd like to see clearer and lighther backgrounds, on the menus, the email client, the settings page, etc. I've tried several things before posting this.
If anyone knows a way to make SGS2 ICS look less dark, please let me know.
Thank you

checkout the themes section and if any theme matches your taste then download it and flash it.
Or change to another Rom
try MIUI v4 roms which has got white backgorung on the menu...
or try MIUI GB version, you can try endless themes which apply the changes on the complete enviornment of the phone
Hi folks,
I´m new at this forum and i have my first question:
I´ve put the PACman Rom from this Thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1957348 on my I9100G and i am really really impressed of it. But there is one thing that doesnt work fine.
In the ROM Control, you can customize the Lockscreen targets, but when i do that, they would not be saved. After changing them, i go one step back, an when ich go back to the settings, the targets are disappeared.
Can anybody explain how i do that?
The ROM forme, is the best ROM for the 9100G. I tested the most of the other ROMs like CM10, SlimBean, MIUI, SlimTW53 and so on, but PACman ist the best.
Great performance, great battery life and anything adjutable :good::good::good:
Please answer in light english because school is many many years ago :silly:
EDIT: i tried it again, and SOMETIMES i can save it with the Menu Button. But only SOMETIMES and i don´t know why.
EDIT from Edit: I think that i can only put apps on the lockscreen and no shortcuts.
Hi guys
I know there are various AOKP ROMs that have enabled Expanded Desktop functionality... But I want to use it in standard CM10.
What tweaks have to be made to the rom to do this?

What do you mean by Extended Desktop?

"Expanded Desktop" is available normally on Tablets and some other devices, it's normally an option available in the "Power Menu".
It appears in "Paranoid Android" ROM, and i know it is contained in standard CM10 builds.
Just figuring out how to enable, the option in the Power Menu..
I know in the CM10 forum people just say "Aaaah you dont need it"
but yes i WANT it..
and if it is a simple tweak as the code is already in there then i am happy to do this myself

i just like it, adds a little bit more screen real estate to apps, Apex Launcher can only hide the status bar whilst you are in the launcher.
I know people say "oh it's only good for Nexus Owners" but is there any reason why i cant? Paranoid Android has it so why cant i?
Maybe i'll ask the question in the Paranoid Android Thread
You could try tasker it'll be able to hide the status bar in specific apps and I'm sure cm10 has it as its options double check the options

there is no option in CM10.. but i think the option switched off .. and is only selectable if you have a phone with no hardware keys, cant ask in the Paranoid Android thread as it is temporarily closed
Nothing is perfect, just when you think you found the perfect ROM! its that one thing missing. will PAC-MAN ROM is just another one that couldn't make that perfect mark and again back to the drawing-board searching and waiting for that Developer to just do it. I mean why "OFFICIAL PAC-Man NIGHTLIES 4.3.1" does not have a disable Home-screen Dock like every-other descent home-screen launcher???? he just had to miss this one!
Please let me know if there is a way to do that and if not then please accept this as a suggestive request to PAC-MAN Dev.
Thanks
